As an artist/ gamer I started out following your $1200 pure performance build until i ordered the parts, and then i realized how hard it is to resist incorporate aesthetic into my build.. $200 over budget but totally worth it
Aesthetics are really hard to ignore for most people, but I think you can get really good style without breaking the bank these days. A few RGB fans and a stylish case really do wonders.
If you get a fractal north mesh case ( which is kinda expensive but comes with 2 intake fans) you can make the inside pure performance and not look good and have still have a nice aesthetic looking pc on the outside because your not going to be taking off the mesh side panel while gaming and the case is amazing I would recommend checking it out
GVGMall that you recommended only has OEM Windows keys. That's not ideal because OEM keys aren't supposed to be distributed. You want Retail key. That's extortion for an OEM key. Overvalued. I've seen actual Retail keys go for the same. Can't remember where though but you can get them.

This was about my price point 6 months ago when I built...got a 7600x + 7800xt (asrock challenger), not caring for aesthetics just got a cheap white box that also had room for a disc drive. This video helps confirm I made a good choice, haha! My GPU did come bundled with Avatar...a pretty game but I've barely played it.
First of all, this channel is doing a great job. For this reason i did a research on the used PSU in this build. Please don't get me wrong. It is not the intention to point out flaws, start an argue or similar. Moreover it is an addon to the existing video. As mentioned in the video already, right now there is the open question if the used PSU is still an A-Tier, because the PSU-Tier-List is from 2023, while the PSU is from 2024. In addition to this, the P/N-Naming by Thermaltake between 2019 Edition and 2024 Edition is misleading. The PSU in the video: 2024 Edition P/N PS-TPD-0750FNFAGx-P ("x" values i.e. A,E,K,U) Model TPD-750AH2FLG WATTS 750w MAX PEAKOUT OUTPUT WATTS 750w OPERATUNG TEMPERTURE +5 degree C up to +40 degree C with COOLING SYSTEM 120mm FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) fan, MTBF (mean time between failures) 100 (this seems to be a wrong value on official page, moreover meant to be 100,000 hours minimum) The PSU in the mentioned Tier List rated A: 2019 Edition P/N PS-TPD-0750FNFAGx-1 ("x" values i.e. A,E,K,U) Model TTP-750AH3FCG WATTS 750w MAX PEAKOUT OUTPUT WATTS 900w OPERATUNG TEMPERTURE +0 degree C up to +50 degree C with COOLING SYSTEM 140mm hydraulic bearing fan, MTBF (mean time between failures) 120,000 hours minimum Notes: - Both PSU are ATX 2.4 - be careful while searching for the "old" PSU. In the P/N only the last position changes ("1" for 2019 edition, "P" for 2024 edition) Differences: As you can see by the provided data, the 2024 edition reduces the peakout drastically before your system starts showing the "white flag". Keep this in mind if you're thinking about tweaking the system by OC/UV. Same goes to the reduced (by 10 degree celsius) max operating temperture based on the reduced diameter of the fan in the 2024 Edition. In some regions 40 degree celsius might be hit with ease ... Final thoughts: Right now, there ist no reliable review for the 2024 Edition from known tech-channels. 2019 Edition reviews exist. The differences are taken from the official Thermaltake websites UK, US, and Germany. Once stresstests are made with the 2024 Edition from reliable tech-channels and the PSU-Tier-List gets an update, there is solid data to work with. But right now, if you are able to get your hands on the 2019 Edition (that one in the PSU-Tier-List rated A), you should go for it - even if you spend a few bucks more but knowing your hardware is save. Greetings from germany and keep up the good work. 👍
@@user-nk7lw6mh1d Hi and sorry for the delay 😅 The given build "as is" will run smooth with the mentioned PSU. a $300 Pure perfomance build would definetely be cool to see. Using something like a Xeon Motherboard combo off aliexpress and a GPU off aliexpress would definetely make this possible
For 300-ish bucks I'd just get one of many Xeon workstations glooding the market like the Lenovo P520 and plap in your choose of ~100 usd GPU cause it will not only be as powerful as any other $300 build, most come with a 900W psu that will be much, MUCH better than any of the bargain basement C tier or lower ones going into an ultra budget build. That also means it's an easy upgrade to a real 1440p card later.
Yo, Zach! Loving the performance build series. Would love to see a challenge build where money isn't a thing, but you have to use a 400 watt PSU (or some variation of this challenge that you can think of).
For your next build maybe try a budget build with am5, in the region of 750-800 dollars. maybe even lower, and give people options to expand on later ( since the platform will be around for a long time to come )
I really like the wood panel aesthetic but I was born an old man who wants to be able to enjoy sitting in a dark room without an unnecessary flashing light distracting him.
YT clearly didn't like this video so they decided to show it to me 10 days later. This despite the fact i always love these builds even if higher priced than most the PC content i watch.
Great job on the build, it's fun and exciting to see the pc building scene ramping up again with these builds considering new hardware is just around the block. Sadly the prices here in my country is still high, the RX 7800XT is still around 650 dollars and if I follow 'most' of the build, I'll only end up with atlmost a RTX 4060/RX 7600XT. Hopefully the prices will drop later this year so keep on making them performance and aesthetic builds!
interesting benchmark results. I have a 12600k, 7800xt, and 32 gigs of ddr4 3200 CL22 (I know that's awful it was a drunken amazon purchase lol) and in Timespy I scored 18851 (~1600 higher) but in Steel Nomad I got 4085 (~150 lower). It seems like, at least for benchmarking purposes, slow ddr4 with a really bad CL doesn't actually have that much of a performance drop from high quality ddr5. I also get really similar fps in HD2 and Starfield, but I can't compare with the other games shown (I don't have them) Edit: I think the price of my entire build was like $1,110 before shipping for anyone curious

I'm trying to build this in the US. Fair warning to anyone, I have not been able to find any of the parts from this video at the listed price, even from third party sellers, and even after the Ryzen 9000 series was released. (with the exception of the motherboard)
Zach, the 13 gen intel processors are still very good and now that people are buying amd more, prices for intel 13 gen is way lower. So something like. 13700kf might not be a bad price to performance option. And since most people wont upgrade for a few years, they should be fine with intel 13 gen. I think u should make a max fps build woth intel
Go build this pc without a second thought.. the price to performance is insane.... the only thing i would improve is the ssd i would get a (Hp fx 9000) or the (adata s70 blade)

Sadly the prices here in my country is still high, the RX 7800XT is still around 650 dollars and if I follow 'most' of the build, I'll only end up with atlmost a RTX 4060/RX 7600XT. Hopefully the prices will drop later this year so keep on making them performance and aesthetic builds!
i got a crazy deal a a 7600x on amazon for only $170! glad I saw that because its already back to normal price.
Im thinking of doing this exact build. Thanks for the help. I was gonna change up some stuff, but the canadian prices are crazy inflated.
interesting benchmark results. I also get really similar fps in HD2 and Starfield, but I can't compare with the other games shown (I don't have them)
Edit: I think the price of my entire build was like $1,110 before shipping for anyone curious
Rare sight of zach not prioritizing asthetics
Still looks cool as hell though
Man, I keep lovin' this Pure Performance Builds! Keep it going Zach! 💯💯
Great to hear!
@@ZachsTechTurf yeah 🔥🔥
ZTT: "... not in the news for any sort of drama lately"
MSI: "We got lucky don't jinx it"
Gamer Nexus: ...
ZTT: damn...
MSI: @#*k...
...bruh 😂
im just about to buy a new pc for around 1000 to 1250 dollar this helped me alot thx
Follow the 1250 pure performance
Came here to appreciate RX 7800 XT 🥳 Indeed great 1440p GPU ✌
Man I wish I had seen this video 4 days sooner cuz I bought new parts and got 5 5600x with 7800xt and its gonna be my first ever pc build
you should do a $2000 or $2500 pure performance build
Would love to see you do a content creator/gamer build that balances professional performance/medium budget/gaming...incl monitor. Thanks!
That case for 70 dollars is insane with the looks
Thanks to the inspiration from ZTT I just built my first pc using ryzen 5 5600X, Gigabytes B550m AORUS, 16gb DDR4 & Rx580 8gb for under 450$ now I need help finding a gaming forum
Hey Zach If u see this I love your channel ❤
Awesome build guide thanks! I think you played the power supply tag when you showed off the case
I wish I would’ve seen these videos before I built my pc in March 😂. Ended up with a 3060 and i7 1200kf 12th gen on a msi Z790. WD sn750 2tb. Corsair Vengeance ddr5 2x16. RM750E and Corsair A115. Ended up being around $1450. Guess I can easily upgrade down the line
Please recommend a ups 🙏
Mistake spotted on the case name. Its saying the exact psu name instead of the case😅 5:18 just so you know
Hey Zach, I love your videos, can you make a 1000$ white aesthetic pc please?
thats pretty helpful, i have pretty much exactly the same budget
I'm trying to build this in the US. Fair warning to anyone, I have not been able to find any of the parts from this video at the listed price, even from third party sellers, and even after the Ryzen 9000 series was released. (with the exception of the motherboard)
zach just casually jinx msi so fast🤣🤣
Just what I needed
Perfect
You jinxed MSI in this video
I love your videos, they really help
Thank you, happy to hear that
looks better than any of your "aesthetic" pc build videos
Zach, the 13 gen intel processors are still very good and now that people are buying amd more, prices for intel 13 gen is way lower. So something like. 13700kf might not be a bad price to performance option. And since most people wont upgrade for a few years, they should be fine with intel 13 gen. I think u should make a max fps build woth intel
I say go with the GRE!
Go build this pc without a second thought.. the price to performance is insane.... the only thing i would improve is the ssd i would get a (Hp fx 9000) or the (adata s70 blade)
Yup...
Zach is officially turning 40
This pc is beast!!
quick question will you ever do a build guide with the zalman P30 case
*Build is fire!*
Thanks Alex
Hey Zach, you should do a $1500 pure performance build.
Bro jinxed it so hard its actually crazy💀
Hey Zach, could you make a video on how you got into what you are doing rn and what the steps were? I'd find it really interesting as I myself would like to do something similar
