These are sick! The price could also make you sick lol, but I've been running the Gen 2 XBs for a while and they have been fantastic...may have to step up to th EVOs.
I hope Morimoto does the EVO driver for other vehicles. It’s crazy these headlights operate at half their potential. I get people will say they’ll be too bright for on road use, but I feel like the EVO drivers could be implemented into most XB headlights but only activate when the high beams are on.
Will there be a Gen 2 or Evo for the 09-14 F150? Still a huge market for the 12th gens and we only got Gen 1 XB’s and Hybrids. The 15+ trucks at least got Gen 2’s.
@@HeadlightRevolution fingers crossed! They removed the hybrids from their site so maybe that’s what in the future. It’s the one thing holding me back from purchasing a set, I feel like I’ll buy some and they’ll release new ones next week lol
Yeah, but how do they compare to stock LED headlights at distance for driving at night. I’m pretty sure the big lighting thread on the Tacoma world forum will provide evidence these are cool to look at but suck at providing adequate lighting at distance. (Which is what really matters)
With the way that these have been designed and engineered by Yoshi Ishida at Morimoto - we anticipate very positive reviews on forums, real life, etc. These lights might looks good, but that's not why they were made - Morimoto already had good looking headlights for the 4Runner. These lights were designed to set a new benchmark for aftermarket lighting and they delivered 🙌🏻
Looking forward to seeing how they really compare to the Xb’s which are no slouch. Seems if features are your goal, the new ones are sweet. But light wise…..?
I just got these and they are a big upgrade over the old XB when it comes to distance lighting and over all lighting. I have yet to install the higher output driver but I will be installing it this weekend
rofl... "These lights are fully compliant with FMVSS108 and DOT certified... BUT no one cares about that, so here's a module to chuck compliance in the bin and turn your compliant headlights into bunny burners... Remember, these modules are 'not legal' for on-road usage 😉😉" Least you understand your customers 🤣🤣
We get that they’re an investment, but the quality, performance, and design are totally worth it! Plus, there’s an XB Hybrid version that’s more affordable but still offers amazing features. It’s all about getting what works best for you and your ride!
Got these for the wife for her birthday and she loves them. they are super bright and look awesome.
These are going to TAKE OVER! Great job on the release HR and Morimoto!!!
Thanks friend, we appreciate your support 🔥🙌🏻
The next gen ranger needs this
2015-2022 Colorado needs these desperately!
Aside from the amazing light output I like the custom keys and cold weather heating.
Agreed!
I’ve got my eyes on those Evo’s big time.
Would love to hear more and see more in regards to the "D Projectors" on the XB Evo's!

Saw them at Overland Expo Mtn West in Colorado, looks sick

Yes, they do come included with the headlights!

There are rumors from Morimoto, so I wouldn't doubt it!

Will the supercharger blind on comeing traffic ?
Not when aimed correctly, but keep in mind the supercharged drivers are not DOT approved.
Is this style headlight going to become available for the tacoma's?
Quite possibly! 👀

Dose auto highbeam work with this headlights
Yes, all OEM features still work and your factory warranty will not be voided! (Morimoto's warranty is longer though 🙌🏻😅)
IS THERE ABILITY TO INSTALL THIS TYPE ON TRD OFF ROAD 2020 ?
Yes!

I have ? Do you know if a 2004 mitsubishi endeavor limited has a fuse or relay for fast turn signal. I replaced turn signals with LEDs
Sounds like you need some resistors to prevent hyperflashing!

😂😂
Lol price is sickening
Not for you then. Move along and make a vision board, maybe you'll manifest an income to make it happen.
