I am in Quebec and did get the supercharger for the lights. Well worth it for me since I commute on forestry roads daily. I did angle my beams a bit lower then what it should be to avoid blinding other drivers. When I go high beams in the forest it makes all the difference. Very good quality product.
LOVE these. Just wish they weren’t $1500! Then again, Toyota should have put functional OEM headlights on the truck in the first place. After trying disappointing LED bulbs in the factory projectors it’s probably worth it to just bite the bullet and get these. Buy once cry once!
@@FRMN8R_T4R I should have mentioned they do have a hybrid option. Basically the same lights but with less features for $1150 www.morimotohid.com/14-24-4runner-xb-evo-hybrid-headlights
The factory LED headlights on years 2021+ have been proven to be better than most aftermarket LED headlights. As much as I’d like to buy these with the boosters, it doesn’t seem that reasonable other than being aesthetically pleasing. For those who have 2020s below are better off getting OE 2021+ for $200 on FB marketplace tbh if they’re looking for better visibility in general without breaking the bank. Again I LOVE these, but idk if it’s worth it in the end. For the price I wonder if a custom retrofit would be a better option where I don’t look like every other 4Runner on IG. lol
I recently bought these headlights for my 4runner. The features are cool; however, the light pattern is terrible. As seen in this video, you can see two prominent indentations from each headlight when he is aligning the lights. This is VERY distracting to the driver when driving at night or low light conditions. I think they could have done a better job with this considering the price tag. I would have preferred a clean cut off. I am disappointed.
I definitely like these headlights better than the factory projectors. These spread the light wider and more evenly. The lasfits were very bright but unfortunately would blind other drivers. These lights are DOT approved and allow everyone on the road to see
Aiming = cutoff height match to headlamp optical center mark height from the ground (for stock height), if lifted or fitted larger tires, 2" down at 25'. This video shows exactly how it shall be aimed and look like at 11: 20~ Sharp cutoff creates nothing but the view discomfort. Overly sharp cutoff is poor design evidence. Check HR video explaining why advanced cutoff style was adopted. You aren't seeing shadow, newer optimized DOT cutoff is giving you so much more on left curve illumination stretch, where outdated classic step down cutoff wasted all, or many did not know it was available. As a result, zone must be strictly controlled for glare reduction by FMVSS appeared as dip shaped shading. It is selective shading method, giving you every possible illumination range except critical glare zone. Some may not accustomed to it, but this cutoff style can add nearly full 1.5sec of 250m left curve visibility at driving speed of 50mph. Hard to conclude seeing additional 1.5sec worth of illumination range on the left curve(50mph) to be labeled as disappointing.
@@richardstone5241 They are expensive but after seeing the build quality and engineering/design I can see why. They are a speciality product that had to be designed and manufactured specifically for this particular vehicle. For a small niche market they really invested a lot into these

Thanks so much! Appreciate the support
These lights turn me on every time I fire up my 4Runner. No regrets!
OMG amazing update
Those dr🎉ls are bright!!! Thanks for another great content!!
They are brighter than I was expecting, thanks!
@@T4Rgarage are they almost too bright? High beam output looks amazing.

Love this! Which LCA's are you running?
Stock LCAs with RCI A-Arm skids
Once again, well done and thank you! Do you by change have front hub to fender well measurement?
Yes I do, 23 1/4”

Nice! I got some cool accent grill lights from Yota Xpedition. Something different from those raptor lights.
I’ll have to check those out. Is there a specific name or link?
Are the DRLs still controlled by the OEM switch? Or are they just ON whenever the car is on?

Very dumb question… what happens if I don’t run the wire to the fuse box? The oem headlights don’t so why do aftermarket ones do this?
Why did you not keep the lasfit bulbs? They are super bright

What are the rims and tires on your truck? What is the offset too? I'm trying to install bigger tires on ORD, but don't want to lift the front.
I have icon rebound wheels with 0 offset. I am running 285/70r17 but if you don’t want to do any modding I’d get 275/70r17

Anyone else have issues aligning these lights? There seems to be some shadowing or wash out on these lights. Not a sharp cut off.
