I m so curious: how people who meal prep can eat the same thing for 5 days in a row? I can eat something for 3 days on top and after I don't want to eat that meal for months.
Many times I do 2 carbs, 2 veg and 2 proteins and mix them to make different combos. Also, switching the sauce/dressing makes a big difference. I mostly only prep my work lunches so my dinner is something fast&easy I come up with in the moment. Many times I freeze a portion or 2 so I have a menu of 2-4 different kinds of meals in the freezer so those come up handy for either dinners or just lunch whenever I haven't got anything ready in the fridge.
My husband is the same way so I'll make 2 separate dinners and then he takes one every other day. I don't care, I'll eat it because I'm just eating to fuel my body but he gets tired of food so easily.
They all look amazing. Not sure how you can do all that in an hour. The veggie chopping & cooking would be way over 1 hour... Do you do cook some of it the day before and then just dish it out in the 1 hour?
My one and only kiddo is 12 years old. I worked until I was 42 weeks pregnant and that’s about all I could handle so you’re a super hero! I hope you have a safe, happy and healthy delivery!! ❤❤❤
I am all for meal prepping and everything that you created looks amazing, but will it last all week and taste the same by day five, even if the refrigerator is cold. I think that the freshness wouldn't be the same after 3 days, but great ideas.😊😊😊
I agree, that's why I prefer to prepare meals for 3 days or 4 days max You can make the same recipes she made but with less ingredients that's gonna be enough for 3 days
I think since it's sealed it'll probably taste fine. My concern is being pregnant with a slightly lowered immune system and how even the tiniest bit of bacteria could make her and the baby sick. Listeria is a big concern when pregnant, that's why they always warn no lunch meats.
I'm very interested in it but I have no idea how you make it last for 5 days. I know in my fridge it would all go bad in 3 days max. Do you have a method of keeping everything fresh on day 4 and 5? Do you freeze the salad and oats???
These are really great and I’m not trying to butt in or anything but just a friendly reminder in case you didn’t know, you don’t want to eat salmon everyday or too often in a week. 2 or 3 times a week is enough. Salmon is delicious and a great source of protein and other nutrients and a relatively low mercury fish but still contains mercury. Sorry if you already knew. Best intentions
How do you store them so they don't get bad? Do you freeze them? Otherwise i've experienced food spoiling faster especially if they are mixed in sauce or if different kind of food is mixed together (ex. Meat with rice vs keeling rice and meat separately)
Just found you and am so glad I did. Definitely going to make some of your high protein food preps. They all look really good and are close to the macros I need (need to adjust for calories). Thank you.
Aw i remember pregnancy but i have advice dont prep before labor the food wont taste the same after the baby i used to crave cactus juice soda, fried steak burrito with cheese, wendys spicy chicken nuggets, dennys sizzler spicy, entire cheese cake, caviar on pasta with tomato sauce and hot sauce and cheese, soup canned and yes i ate all of that in one day gained 300 pounds now after a few years i am 135 but omg those cravings it was crazy i ate things i would never eat now. 😊😊😊😊😊
Girl, go you! I’m currently pregnant with my second and although I generally eat very healthy, during both pregnancies I just couldn’t keep anything down asides from horrible food🥴🤣 this all looks so delicious! & you’re adorable❤️ is this your first babe? Good luck, may your delivery go exactly as you wish❤️
Fab idea especially when pregnant. Do all of the cut up and prepped prepped foods last well all week? This would make my life so much easier. Lovely healthy ideas too. I like to make overnight oats with milk as I can't eat yogury (long story) and then cook them the next day. Its probably not the idea but it does make them nicer and softer than if I just cook it in the morning
I just asked the same question! Commenting on yours so if anyone answers I'll get notified!! I usually only do 2-3 days ahead, but being able to do all 5 in one go could be a game changer!
I love the idea of meal prepping. However, if you are doing this on a Sunday evening then by Friday, it's like eating 6 day old leftovers. I am funny about leftovers and like to finish them off within 2 days, 3 days max.
2 questions : how do you deal with the veggies getting stale after a few days, and how do you eat the same thing for more than 2 days without getting bored and sad?
Your food looks SOOOOOOOO DELICIOUS I feel like i do the same things for meal prep all the time- salmon, chicken, beef tips, turkey burgers 🤨 I love all those things dearly but this is a good change up 🎉thank you for sharing!!
You eat the same thing breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for a whole week? I could never. And does the salad really stay fresh and crunchy until the end of the week? I really can't imagine that being the case. Monday and Tuesday and then it's mush.
Just came across your profile love your content meal prep looks amazing im def making this and subscribing thank you! And also congratulations on your baby!! ❤
My mouth is watering! Can you really do 5 days in 1 go? If I made that lot up on Sunday - would it still taste fresh on Friday? Usually I only do about 2-3 days ahead - but if this works, it could be a game changer! 🤔🤞💪
31 weeks and prepping is no easy task right now. In our freezer I have 1 chicken lasagna, two gumbos. Two chilis and two chicken pot pies 🥧 I’m prepping for after the birth so we don’t have to worry so much about dinners when the baby is born. Also breakfast burritos and sammiches
Because I keep my fridge really cold, these meals last me up to 5 days in the fridge. If I don't plan on eating them within 5 days, I'll freeze them. When I'm ready to eat one, I'll let it defrost overnight in the fridge. The dinner can be heated as well as the overnight oats.
After the second day will it not taste little bit off ? Heating up will be difficult if there are already fresh vegetables in the lunchbox (like salad, cucumber etc) ..
I just want to know, how large is your fridge? Can we see what storing all of that looks like? I am always short on space and the #1 thing that stops me from doing a lot of meal prep is that.
Full menu linked in my profile & full meal prep video just posted on my channel ☺️
So excited to try this! Love all the food choices and dang doing this while pregnant, impressive!! Lucky baby to have such a healthy start to life
Thank you
Looks yummy!
🎉
Recipe details?
I’m impressed. I’m 35 weeks and buying fruits is my idea of prepping ahead.
Aww bless you! You’re doing what you can don’t beat yourself up 💕I hope things are going amazingly for you 😃
I’m impressed too! Not pregnant, empty nester and that STILL looks too hard for me!!! Congrats to you and the video lady!
Protein is actually the most important part when pregnant 👍 you're literally building muscle
@@Miss_Kisa94 It took me way too long to realize that protein would always put an end to my morning sickness.
@@sweetpie7919 well at least you found something that works for you
First - congratulations on the baby! Also, meal prepping has been a godsend for us. Love that it works for you too.

I can eat the same things a lot of days in a row. I’m not a foodie, maybe that’s why, so I don’t really mind.
Lol I guess it was just for I was raised. I eat leftovers until leftovers are gone, there is no throwing it away
@@kaylanp4476 you're right about that one - you don't waste food! Bibimbap is one of my favorite way to utilize leftovers.
Looks really good and not overly complicated to make

Working until 42 weeks is what I call a superhero! And trust me there were weeks throughout my pregnancy I didn’t meal prep to this extent 🥰
I am all for meal prepping and everything that you created looks amazing, but will it last all week and taste the same by day five, even if the refrigerator is cold. I think that the freshness wouldn't be the same after 3 days, but great ideas.😊😊😊

That's so true! It looks amazing, but all I could think of is how I'd cook the egg fresh.
I think since it's sealed it'll probably taste fine. My concern is being pregnant with a slightly lowered immune system and how even the tiniest bit of bacteria could make her and the baby sick. Listeria is a big concern when pregnant, that's why they always warn no lunch meats.
I especially wonder about making overnight oats that far ahead. I would think the texture would degrade.
people meal prep portions are supposed to be put inside the freezer to keep all the nutrients in and bacteria away
I'm very interested in it but I have no idea how you make it last for 5 days. I know in my fridge it would all go bad in 3 days max. Do you have a method of keeping everything fresh on day 4 and 5? Do you freeze the salad and oats???
Oh my... speechless. You amazing woman.
Thank you, may God bless you all and everyone. ❤

Was gonna say the same thing.
That’s true. I wonder if she is meal prepping this for her and her husband to share and not just her eating all of it everyday?!
She's using the safe catch brand which has tested the mercury levels and is perfectly fine for her
The brand says low mercury
The brand says every salmon mercury tested. So let's hope it's safe

So organised love it ❤
These look so good. Do they all stay in the fridge or do you freeze some? Mainly asking about the dinners with the ground meat.
I keep my fridge really cold so I find it stays good up to 5 days but anything over that and I freeze them.
@KaylaJChandler ahhh, great info (about the cold fridge too) ! Thanks for your reply!🥰
Wowww, I wish I loved being in the kitchen, for that long!! It all looks Soooo wonderful!!😮
The point of meal prepping is you’re not in the kitchen that long because you’re efficient, and you do it once a week and it’s over
INCREDIBLE! I'm so impressed. The meal prep seem amazing.Best wishes to you and baby.😊
Wow that looks amazing healthy and delicious 😋

How does the avocado last for a week cut open?
Yeah mine gets weird even if I meal prep with it the night before. And the banana..
@@jessicarana1906 eww the banana!
Maybe add the bananas and avocados ON the day instead of overnight
Beautifully Done!! 😋🤤👌🏾😊
I love your videos! It would be really helpful if you can start writing how long they preserve for!

Hi! Did you use ground turkey for your protein burrito bowls? Everything looks delicious!!!!

Is it the same breakfast/lunch/dinner everyday ?

Do you put bowls in the fridge or freezer?
Can you freeze these or are they specifically for the fridge?
31 weeks and prepping is no easy task right now. In our freezer I have 1 chicken lasagna, two gumbos. Two chilis and two chicken pot pies 🥧 I’m prepping for after the birth so we don’t have to worry so much about dinners when the baby is born. Also breakfast burritos and sammiches

Dumb question, do you freeze these & if so how long til they usually thaw, you can’t heat most of them up right?
Because I keep my fridge really cold, these meals last me up to 5 days in the fridge. If I don't plan on eating them within 5 days, I'll freeze them. When I'm ready to eat one, I'll let it defrost overnight in the fridge. The dinner can be heated as well as the overnight oats.
How come they don’t get spoiled ? Do we need deep freeze or what , what’s the fridge cooler temp??? Pls
These look so good!!!
kid boutta be hella buff i fw it
Got me smiling ear to ear 😊
I always set a timer for an hour so im not in the kitchen prepping all day. It works!
Glad I found you. I need this!
Do they stay good for 5 days in the refrigerator?
I hear you about staying regular while pregnant. It was definitely a struggle 😅
A question: if you cut fresh vegetables or fruits, don’t they lose vitamins and minerals over time?
Where did you purchase the all natural No 117 Taco Seasoning? Thank you! 😊
I’m afraid to prep my oatmeal for yhe week. Silly question, Does this go bad in the second or third day? 😅
I love healthy food 😋🥗🧆🧇🥑🥬🥦🥝🍓🍒
Do you freeze the lunches and dinners?
After the second day will it not taste little bit off ? Heating up will be difficult if there are already fresh vegetables in the lunchbox (like salad, cucumber etc) ..
Do you keep them in the freezer?
Wow looks really yummy
The day 4 and 5 meals...how do they hold up in the fridge? Are they still as tasty as the first 3 days?
Looks amazing, Kayla
I just want to know, how large is your fridge? Can we see what storing all of that looks like? I am always short on space and the #1 thing that stops me from doing a lot of meal prep is that.
But meat or fish after 3 days isnt good? i would love to prep for the week this looks so great but curious yall about the days
Leftovers are safe for 5 days as long as they're stored properly.
So do you keep these cooked foods in the freezer?
Wow the fact u did all that in an hour is very impressive!
I truly doubt that, just washing and chopping is about 30 min lol
U r making me want to meal prep too
Canned salmon?? Wow I didn't know that was a thing. I love salmon ❤❤
Cool healthy food!
