I am literally following this channel since barbie mustang gokart, and honestly, you were such a big inspiration for me to buy a tig welder and start doing my own stuff I can't even say how much. And each and every next build is just more and more abstract and sick! You all have gone up and over everything, so much experience and every next video just shows how much you learnt last time and use the knowledge in the next one it's just sooooo inspiring. I wanna build a buggy from a car myself to drive around the countryside, and honestly i WILL be looking back to these videos mostly to snatch on the control arms design and all the other suspension designs you did, because your channel is such a big encyclopedia of mechanical and design knowledge I couldnt have thought of myself.
That's how I felt one time after 2 hours on a griz 400 manual through snow, creeks and lots of hills and trees to zig zag around, last guy in line with the slowest quad getting yoked around in their tracks. I left it behind the bar and caught a ride back fukk all that. They all had 750 Polaris automatics independent rear suspension. It was 2002 so that was high tech. Lol. Even the kid on the banshee was frigging leading the way most time
Found you guys at King of the Hammers hanging out with The Fab Rats. its nice to see people who can design something, build it, then have the skill to ride it and push it to the limit. Kudos for some really awesome content, and keep up the great work!!!!!
I think they need more hp as is so two tracks would be half the go it already has. They need higher gears as well. If anything I'd like to see how the timber sled kit performs compared to the Amazon one.
I was waiting till the end to ask if Will did his 10. Noticed the minute he appeared in the video he had his phone in his back pocket. Glad to see you caught him
What a riot. Ultra fab vs ultra cheap and a limp away wipeout. You guys have serious fun loving panache. Bring your Idaho can do to that crazy snow vehicle event in Scandinavia and make us proud.
My Gpa use to hang his engines from the ceiling like that to work on then. Ended up breaking down the rafters pretty bad. Roof had a big sag we had to fix. Just a heads up. Great build!
14:02 hey if you save your file as an svg then cut the design out on a piece of paper on a vinyl cutting machine , then you can test fit before wasting a piece of metal :)
This is cool. One year I rode a bike in the snow with its sporty tires. Only dropped it once. I was tired of being stuck at home and I didn't have anything else. And I rode a 300 Rebel on a road that was a sheet of ice. That bike was too small for me but could ride in any conditions.
You can use it for gardening or for geothermal installations. Or, you hold your member to a bunch of feathers that are attached to the spinny thing while its on a kickstand, the DIY relations simulator.
great build man! not that it matters too much, but those hexagons you added on the new swing arm should have more rounded corners. as I'm sure you are aware a sharp edge like that could lead to stress risers and increase the risk of part failure. keep up the good work!
To be fair, busa has couple horses more than this thing, so swap the tracks and see busa bury it self in 0.2 seconds, or do something actually utility in the while and put that track on wheel borrow and put electric motor on it. Already built one with ATV tire for soft ground but that has nothing to tracked borrow on snow.
Wish I was young as you guys. The last 25 years have been rough and now I don't have my health. I really did try and played pretty hard even with all that was on my plate. I certainly do have some cool stories to tell, just worried that those times are over now. I'm not young but not as old as you think I might be. 53 is the answer. Boys and gals, please take care of your health
No hand claws. Just to remind you, grind disk can broke just once and godby your finger, lips, ears, etc. Wear a mask and hand claws! Mine has broken, i got my finger almost on half!
Sticker idea just a large grid of hexagons with "This hexagon is brought to you by Grind Hard Plumbing " in between every other hexagon I would love to cut it to fit any location on my karts
That was super dumb, I love it!!!! You guys continue to prove there are no rules. I REALLY want to see another gambler build, would be awesome to see yall out there (same weekend as overland expo PNW, would be awesome to see you guys crash both events!)
Little trick I learned to make the arm mount wider use a scissor jack and a impact works way to well and the only way I use a scissor jack now after I had a suburban fall on me
That thing needs a turbo. I might hi-lite th face on the front of the Grom, to go with the name. How about turning the Grom into a two track snow bike, it needs stability. And add a turbo.
Stud the track with a few to start and work your way up to where it has enough power to just barely break the traction of the track. This would help propel you forward in the corner's where if there is no stud's it just slip's in the corners and ya wipe out!
You guys are top tier on my need to watch when you post. I mean good builds, good vibes, good doggos that might smell like moose poops 💩 haha I will keep up with all the builds
When you stop @15:32 that front spindle will have tons of side flex. Those octo's are great for crush strength but do nothing, being 2d, to stop side flex. You're gonna need bracing there for sure. Update, then @16:56 you remind me I'm a dumb azz & you already know & was already planning a brace for that. Lmao. Thanks for all of your hard work making these projects & these vids for us to watch!!! Keep up the great work!!!
I have about 3 hours of riding on my Ruffian SEND-E electric snowbike, partially thanks to an earlier video you guys did about the company. The thing has gobs of torque and traction, and the battery seems to last much longer than I want to ride.
Try combining tire an ski. Like the Rutter on a boat. You still have a ski but in the center of the ski you have a tire as a Rutter. This way you front end doesn't slide out from under you.
Grom looks like it needs a longer track, for the weight of it all plus rider. LMAO! Problems with snow bikes. I was out in deep snow with just my snow machine. Thought I would go off trail and leave a Piss. When I stepped off my machine. I went waist deep in the snow. Had a hell of a time getting my ass back up on the machine. A snow bike would be nearly impossible. Once you stop in deep snow and try to put your foot down. There will be nothing there. I guess one needs to carry a snow shovel. Dig down to ground for a starting point again. Lol! Looks like a hoot though!
I'd love to see you build your own track for a snowbike. I'm sure you'd build one that's better than you can buy. It'd also be cool to see you strip as much weight as possible off the hiabusa, or even pull the engine n build your own frame around the engine
Etan nice front skin mount but took a while fabricate.. You to see one of the old school JC Whitney kits where front ski strapped to front tire. You to lock front brake to keep from rotating. They sucked because of no pivot at all 😁😆😄🤣
Throw some paddles on the track of that Grom thing even if you have to do it out of angle iron that’s actually what was on the first Polaris I had it had angle iron paddles on it from the early 70s from the factory you absolutely did not want to get a burn from that track and at 12 years old you didn’t want to pick it up either
2:57 when it comes to cheap clones i would not thrust that the frame is in straight line :D i had a Mad Cow 250cc bike and the frame was everything other than straight. and it was super noticeable after u took all the body parts apart. when u lined the frame and back tire there was like 10° difference xD

Loving how you all are able to make the craziest things and people support it. Love you guys 😂
We think it’s the coolest thing ever! Thanks for all the support
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo so do we,which is why we're all here :D
Why wouldn’t people support awesome stuff like this
Led me to think
The moment with the Doggo, ❤️. Love that you've done both, premium and budget. 😁
From the worlds fastest to worlds worst! We had to keep you guys on your toes haha
Loving the channel fellas.. Keep it up!
Is this the next give away 🤔
That's how I felt one time after 2 hours on a griz 400 manual through snow, creeks and lots of hills and trees to zig zag around, last guy in line with the slowest quad getting yoked around in their tracks. @@feminazislayer The next giveaway will be way cooler!
Glad to see Ethan is still in his hexagon phase
He will always be in the bestagons faze
Hexagon is the bestagon
ya know, it has the most adequate number of vertices.
Put tracks on anything is beyond awesome. Rippin and tearin' to snow is the best
Found you guys at King of the Hammers hanging out with The Fab Rats. its nice to see people who can design something, build it, then have the skill to ride it and push it to the limit. Kudos for some really awesome content, and keep up the great work!!!!!
You guys should see how fast the Hayabusa snow bike is around the corse I think it would be a top contender!
Get it? Got it? Good! Ethan enjoys making the goofy builds as much as the serious ones. Love it!
You should try to make the Grom a trike again and put two sets of tracks in the back and turn it into a snow trike
I think they need more hp as is so two tracks would be half the go it already has. They need higher gears as well.
If anything I'd like to see how the timber sled kit performs compared to the Amazon one.
This
@Ruger84 would probably need the timber sled if they gave it more power too.
I wanna see a zabel 700 dropped in there, it'd just be ridiculous 😆😆🤘
I was waiting till the end to ask if Will did his 10. Noticed the minute he appeared in the video he had his phone in his back pocket. Glad to see you caught him
Fun project, good video. I appreciate you guys wearing your safety gear, it’s so much easier to watch. Play through.
What a riot. Ultra fab vs ultra cheap and a limp away wipeout. You guys have serious fun loving panache. Bring your Idaho can do to that crazy snow vehicle event in Scandinavia and make us proud.
These videos are really well put together! It felt less production and more like I was there in the shop with you guys.
I love these builds, I feel like you guys just go with the flow. You also show a bit more insight rather than a speed up video
I like how this time you add the reinforcement plate before you send it and break it. Learning from experience for the win
I’d still 100% take a grom snow bike. Idc if it’s slow it would still be fun. It’s better then no snow bike
This is cool. One year I rode a bike in the snow with its sporty tires. Only dropped it once. I was tired of being stuck at home and I didn't have anything else. And I rode a 300 Rebel on a road that was a sheet of ice. That bike was too small for me but could ride in any conditions.
Yall keep bringing your A game with the content......AWSOME
You can use it for gardening or for geothermal installations. Or, you hold your member to a bunch of feathers that are attached to the spinny thing while its on a kickstand, the DIY relations simulator.
That grom has been used for so many projects made some good content wonder if it has another life left have a great weekend 👊 💨
14:00 I print stuff out 1:1 ratio on paper like 3 times before I laser metal. Sometimes I laser super thin scrap before cutting it proper.
Another fine job of ingenuity on that little bike. She sounds a wee bit underpowered though. Nice job guys.👍👍🇨🇦
Not the snow tracks fault. You also lose power in the track conversion, and it's a fake grom. Heh 😅
great build man! not that it matters too much, but those hexagons you added on the new swing arm should have more rounded corners. as I'm sure you are aware a sharp edge like that could lead to stress risers and increase the risk of part failure.
keep up the good work!
circles, if you will
The firewood under the track to lift it into place brings a whole new meaning to "shade tree mechanic".
The big bike is what u ordered and the small one is actually what u got
Great job on the video folks! Thanks for making it.
Another awesome episode and build guys .
Love this channel . Keep up the great work 👍🏼
The ultimate in small town winter commuting! I've never even rode a Grom. I need to get out more. Hahaha.
My favorite ad ever, thanks Edwin!
My wife just walked past you at Walmart. She called me asking if she should say hi. I told her not to be weird lol. Love your channel!
Good things come to those who smile. Have you smile today? Keep smiling.
Oh shit I finally catch an upload in the first 10 mins!
The "choose your character" bit was hilarious, I love those little bits being thrown into the videos. Keep it up d00ds! 👍👍
Seen someone put a snow bike kit on a Harley and I immediately thought if this channel
SNOWBIKE THE WORLD !!
the busa needs to be in the next fast and furious. Vin needs to see this.
You have the Grom snow bike, VS the snow bike you were told not to worry about ‼😜👍
2020+ Crf110 timber sled kit basically bolts up to a grom 👌
To be fair, busa has couple horses more than this thing, so swap the tracks and see busa bury it self in 0.2 seconds, or do something actually utility in the while and put that track on wheel borrow and put electric motor on it. Wild bike! - did actually LOL when you cut the chain wearing your best safety squints while your safety glasses were perched on top your beanie! 😅
Been using rachet straps like that for years it definitely works great
Side by side it reminds me of a Lvl1 vs lvl100 app ad
SpaceX engineering, love it!
i love how the table has engine parts built into it
i love how funny the bike looks and your dog is amazing😂
MASTER FABER...Great work SIR..

I've been ratchet strapping my bikes to the rafters of my garage for years.
Glad to see someone else doing it for once 😂

Great video! Rave Will cracked me up.
Id like to see you guys put the track from a snowmobile on a jet ski. I think the extra flotation of the jet ski hull will help in really deep snow.
Or a small boat like a dinghy or something
Finally the pup gets camera time
Stud the track with a few to start and work your way up to where it has enough power to just barely break the traction of the track. This would help propel you forward in the corner's where if there is no stud's it just slip's in the corners and ya wipe out!

That Hayabusa conversion is amazing 👏 👍
I think I mandatory that every vehicle that grind hard builds it has to have favorite shapes on it
When you stop @15:32 that front spindle will have tons of side flex. Those octo's are great for crush strength but do nothing, being 2d, to stop side flex. You're gonna need bracing there for sure.

Scamers !! Watch out
I’m curious to know exactly where you found a lot so cheap. Would you have a link to the one you bought?
I have about 3 hours of riding on my Ruffian SEND-E electric snowbike, partially thanks to an earlier video you guys did about the company. The thing has gobs of torque and traction, and the battery seems to last much longer than I want to ride.
Pretty similar to putting your foot down on a 3 wheeler. Reminds me of the good old days of running myself over with the neighbor kid's ATV.
Try combining tire an ski. Like the Rutter on a boat. You still have a ski but in the center of the ski you have a tire as a Rutter. This way you front end doesn't slide out from under you.

You guys should rivet on some angle aluminum or something to the little track, it seems to lack traction in snow hahaha
Love what you guys do. Wish I had the knowledge to do some of these creative ideas. Keep them coming.
Give the dream camper bigger tires and the do a taco-bronco-camper crawling competition
Fav part of the video is a toss up between the BBD ( Big Black Dog) or the Butcher Box seg..
You guys should make a long track 120 kids' snowmobile I've been wanting to do that forever!
😂 the race between them was hilarious
I'd love to see you build your own track for a snowbike. I'm sure you'd build one that's better than you can buy. It'd also be cool to see you strip as much weight as possible off the hiabusa, or even pull the engine n build your own frame around the engine
TIP OF THE DAY GUYS use a 2.5 inch ratchet strap handle with a small ratchet strap and you can wrap 7 to 10 feet of strap before binding up
Etan nice front skin mount but took a while fabricate.. You to see one of the old school JC Whitney kits where front ski strapped to front tire. You to lock front brake to keep from rotating. They sucked because of no pivot at all 😁😆😄🤣

DO A XR650L SNOW BIKE !!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome video!! I own a grom with a 181 bbk they are fun little bikes
I got a big wheel kit on my cheap 150 that doesn’t have a secondary chain tensioner and I’ll change chain every couple weeks
May God bless you all.
