4:25 "u wont find a camera out there either" ....thats what i love about ur responses Brian. U keep it real, respectable & so funny. Thanks for sharing the video.
As a left handed bushcrafter I'm so happy they released an ambidextrous version. Now if they could make left handed options for their leather sheaths it would be greatly appreciated
Thank you for stating that Joe Flowers was making a knife like years ago. He just worked out how to bring the cost was down. Good video as usual thanks.
good morning Brian, i would really like to see a " greatest hits " video of you balance testing knives over the years . i could easily watch 10 or 15 minutes of you chunking pointy things !
I bought it in orange and it came razor sharp right out of the box. Strikes a ferro rod with no difficulty. I love how it feels in the hand. I put a paracord lanyard on mine and used a Nite🌛Ize clip to hold it better and make it easier to access. Thank you Bryan for making these videos. It helps me decide whether or not to purchase a product I'm in the market for.
Excellent. Reminded me of Schrade Saturdays; one reason I subscribed to this channel. Yes, John Cameron Swayze would have been proud. And I do own a Timex Expedition; plastic, inexpensive, and "still ticking" for years on the original battery.
U.S. Legion Custom Knifeworks found on eBay... usa made, full tang, tough as heck and cheaply priced. Worth a look in my opinion for those of us on a budget
As you stated Joe brought the Terrasaur to the market many years ago so this design as been out there for awhile. Condor made the smart move to bring it to market at a better price to compete with the Mora Garberg.
Glad to see Condor using 1095 vice 1075. I'm not a steel snob and to be honest their 1075 has worked just fine for me but I like to get the most for my money. It took a lickin' and kept on tickin'.
Picked one up in coyote brown after the sheath redesign. I gotta say, Condor knocked this one out of the park. Learned to use the outside of my index finger to release from the sheath.
Here in Australia the Terrasaur is more expensive than the Garberg . So it's a no brainer to get the better quality Garberg .And yes I have condor knives and I do like them .
John Cameron Swayze? I'm assuming you mean the old Timex commercials. "Takes a licking and keeps on ticking". That is one obscure reference man. Love it.
Every time I think I'm set on knives you show me another one lol 😂looking like I need another garage sale to make room. Thanks so much and blessings to you and your family 😇
Brian much Respect for Your Honesty with the '' Calibrating '' that You showed , Some People would have Edited that out ! Mora are going to be Angry over this Beauty for sure !
Looks awesome, went through the SOP paces well, calibration test was great. Thanks for Not teasing us like that guy Tanner Im sure his review will be great also.
Great knife! It's a lot like my mora bushcraft black, which is my favorite fixed blade knife and also around $50. I carry it when foraging for chaga......
Thanks for the demonstration Bryan. Full Tang and 1095 Steel is nice. The handle looks like it might be comfortable for extended use in the field. I really like that type of sheath too. The price seems very reasonable for what you get.
Dang it Bryan! You have no idea how many Schrade knives I have bought after watching you review them and now you go and do this,,,, lol. Seriously though this does look like an awesome budget friendly knife but in all truth I have to say my one true favorite knife is a schrade that you reviewed and it's the SCHF58L with the leather sheath upgrade. But hey maybe adding this Condor to the stable isn't a bad idea.
Knife looks like a winner for the price. Btw the tent in the back how water tight is it .when i seen all the seams in it . If would take me forever to seam seal it. I like idea of the tent.
"Takes a licking and keeps on ticking" :-) Interesting knife. I have the Mora Garberg, just may get this one too, I like the design, might get the Orange one...
Brain you wouldn't find a hole commenters also. Don't worry if you have haters you must be doing something right. Great stuff brother keep up the good work.
hello,i'm looking for my my first bushcraft knife, but i was looking at the Steel will druid 265, and nog i found your video about this Condor Terrasaur. hmmm you have me doubting now for with one i should go, both are around the same price here in Belgium. But i do like the sheath design of the terrasaur a bit more...
It's a good starter knife or something to keep in the vehicle. Love the design, like the handle. Under the microscope there's a lot of finer details they overlook when compared to a Mora Garberg, but it's also half the price. I don't like the sheath though. It's great that it's ambidextrous It's a really cheap soft plastic that won't keep retention long term as far as I've observed.
I wouldn't call it a garberg copy either as the same blade is used for another condor knife with maple handles (can't recall the name)...having said that, it would be in the same market niche as the garberg.. oh and it fits in the mult mount system-thinner sheath but overall height makes it work...not as robust as a garberg but at a price that is more than $30 less it can do the job! Slight advantage to the garberg but think of it as a full tang bushcraft black at a little less cost.
I have two. The fit &finish are both good, however, they arrived dull and had to be sharpened. These are my "go to" blades. Still like BK17 and Bushlore and Companions, though.
Hey Brian, that looks like a nice knife. What is the thickness on the blade and can you gice me some info on that tent that was shown in the beginning of your vid. Thanks
Check CondorTK for specs. I think I listed everything I could find. As for the tent, it is from Battlbox. I have to say it has been set up for a few weeks. The other night it rained like 4 cows peeing on a flat rock and there was a little water in the tent the next day.
Really enjoy seeing these high value survival gear reviews. And you're right: cedar sure smells nice, whether it's cut or burned. Hmm: an SOP-branded line of cologne for men? First scent: 'Cedar Bushcraft' (tm) - for men of action!
I believe the ESEE flint striker is 1095. Suspect that blade might be tempered back a bit more than a striker, but yes, I think that might work as a striker. Good on Condor for taking the Garberg concept and running with it. I said it a million times: Mora showed their business acumen when they set the price of the Garberg as high as they did. But it was a matter of time before the competition caught up to them. And so it begins. Another option for those who confused their Bushcraft knife with a survival knife and “demanded” full tang construction.
Survival On Purpose I do too. That’s my point. Now you can have a full tang bushcrafter for less than half the price of the Garberg. You heard it here first: Mora will drop the price of the Garberg to something more reasonable early next year. (That’s a prediction.... no insider info here!)
Yeah I've been wanting to try one of those but I already have a carbon Garberg with the leather sheath, and got it for only 55 bucks so I can't really justify buying a terrasaur, regardless of price
I like it *AND* it's affordable. The problem is...that Condor represents 10% of the Dogwood Kephart blade I am saving for thanks to you and Dan. You're killing me here, Bryan. 😆
@@SurvivalOnPurpose I know they're great knives I was just asking in your opinion which one is the best if you're not allowed to answer that I understand with sponsors and things like that
I like your video and would recommend if someone is considering a mora garberg or the Condor they should also watch the video that features both of these knives on the corporals corner Channel.
I love this blade. I have had mine for two months and its holding up great. it is now my main bushcraft/survival blade. I did a first impressions video of it on my channel.
John Cameron Swayze would be proud of you. I really like the knife. I just wish Condor Mora or K Bar would make one in a 5-inch blade. A five inch blade is just a little bit better of a belt knife. Like the terosaur in a 5 inch blade, Becker knife, or a mora knife in it 5 inch blade. Hoping one day. God Bryan I remember the Marlboro Man, I'm sure you do too
Took a licking, in your balance and rotation testing, and it shouldn't be ticking. It's a knife, not a timex. Liked your video, as always. The Terrasaur looks like a steal for the money. Thanx.

Spend the money on a ESEE6 first then do the featured blade. You can bet your life on the ESEE and it will last forever.
@@heyoldtime8969 thanks for the tip, but the ESEE knife is 3 times the price of the ones I was looking at.

You still can’t beat Schrade prices, but not bad. My everyday wear watch is an automatic wind up watch like my old Timex from 1979.
