Excellent review on the Condor knife showing what one can do with it in a real world task of splitting wood to make a simple fire. I was on the fence about getting this knife or the Gerber Strongarm and your video got me to order the Condor. Thank you brother!

This was a really good review and i appreciate that. I've seen other videos that people have done about this knife and they'll say it's a non bias video, but then trash talk about it in the comments. I've owned my Terrasaur for almost 4 years and I really like it. I got mine in orange, mostly because I love the outdoors and I don't want to take a chance of losing it.

Good review! as a Mora fan, I think this Condor is excellent! and at a great price, I am seriously considering buying one (until now I have used the Mora Bushcraft Black) Muy buen trabajo de Condor! I like this knife. greetings from wild, wet, windy and wonderful Western Patagonia, Chile

It's cool to own several knives with curly birch handle, walnut, olive three, oak etc... And different type of steel like vg10, aus 8, 1095, Bohler N690 and Bohler N695, Sandvik 14c28N etc... But they are tools for work thats the reason cause love this kind of affordable knives, this guys do their job without complains

Skeet... Happy Easter. Its interesting that you would mention the sharpness of the spine as being an advantage... as I know of many people who actually soften the spine sharpness to a more rounded edge. They seem to get the same result from using it to strike the Ferro. I tend to leave mine the way they arrive as to not alter the specifications of the knife. Fine video. Stay safe.

So I can purchase 2 Condor Terrasaur for the price of 1 Mora Garberg.
I have several higher priced "bushcraft" knives so for me a Mora Garberg
at $89 crossed into a price range that may not be worth it for me. $42 for a Condor Terrasaur is reasonably priced. Thanks for the review.

I really hope they make a stainless version. I won't even mind if it's 420 HC or 440C like they've done with other things.

While I like the Terrasaur (I own two), I still prefer the Garberg (got two of each in carbon and stainless). The price is also less than double. The Terrasaur runs for 45€ here, sometimes you can find it for 40€. The Garberg stainless with normal plastic sheath is 54€, with multimont it's 60€. The carbon one with multimont is 70€. Looking at the overall better build quality of the Mora, I think it's well priced.
In the end, it comes down to personal preference. Both knives work fine and are worth the money.
Another similar competitor would be the Terävä Jääkäripuukko from Varusteleka.com. Even beefier, rubber handle (not as tough as Mora's PA) and a very good carbon steel blade (80CrV2, extremely prone to shock and much better edge retention).

I see what they were going for with the sheath, but I really wish you could get it with a full leather sheath. Condor leather sheaths are absolutely the best value going.
