Regarding the infinite 1-up part, I never knew it was doable with the middle koopa. I always did it with the first one to the left, since the space it had to walk was shorter

Infinite 1-ups never were a glitch in any Mario game, it was just a cleverly hidden secret for players who found it.

It was originally a glitch, when Nintendo realized how big it was in the gaming community they included it in Nintendo power as a "secret" and made it an Easter egg to reward curious or clever players

So many* levels: “many” is for a number of individual things together whereas “much” is more like for a quantity of something (say a glass of milk having “too much” in it). Just throwing that out there, since I see people confusing the two words, especially people for whom English isn’t their native language.

Haedox Yeah it was ok, but i was running the software that's designed for PC on Mac, which wasn't ideal, but it's all i can do till my PC comes back from repairs. Hopefully the next 3DS game will be a 60FPS episode.

The extra lives thing has definitely become a feature, these days. It's in 3D World too and you'd probably need it to get up to the max life count of 1110, shown as three crowns.

There is a glitch where you can do an entire lap in less than half second
Yo what's your e-mail a snapped a really odd glitch in Super Mario Maker for the 3DS where 3 blocks with no texture and or only visible when I step on them while in test mode and they cannot be placed where they are located.

Nearly every mario game has multiple infinite 1 up areas, they put them in purposefully or at least make it so its possible on purpose, its not a glitch

SteveDoidoUltimate Super Mario 64 has an exploit in thwomp tower stage where you get the Super Mushroom and when it ends, jump off the stage and repeat until you have 100 lives.

Infinite 1-up tricks have never been a glitch and never will be. Possibly an exploit in the first game but since then it's always been intentional.

I've been binge-watching your Son Of A Glitch videos the past three days and I love them. question: can you do Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword or Phantom Hourglass? I love those three games and glitch videos for those games are rare, so I'd love to see one.
For the endless lives, use the first koopa on the left. It goes up a lot faster.
Theres acually huge cheese on the "frog coin glitch level" that lets u skip the entire stage by gliding over the gap with a tanooki suit.

To be fair, as a bonus, you should've added all unintentional level skips, like W7-1 Tanooki Skip. Great glitches and vid either way!
I did the baddy box glitch, and yes. It does sound like the beanstalks when you crouch.
Finally did the title screen double music glitch, and already used the infinite lives glitch. Btw found a glitch that's with the infinite lives one. If you make the camera move left and right, the "1up" sign will go all over the screen :)

Not sure if if it hadn't been discovered when this video was being made or if it was just skipped over, but there's another glitch for this game:
If you long jump perpendicular to the direction you want to go from a high point (such as the secret Luigi platform in world 2-3) then move towards your destination, you can get a lot of speed.
Way late on this, but some games implement a custom draw range feature that allows you to set the distance at which something loads in manually. It could explain that disappearing Goomba bug.

This was the first (and as of now, only) game I've 100%-ed. It was really fun! I encourage you to try. I am working on 100%-ing Odyssey
With the infinite 1up exploit/glitch its a lot faster to use the first koopa, just stand on the question block, face the wall, and jump on it while its somewhat in the middle. Its really helpful becuase you can do it until the timer runs out, and when it does you'll just spawn at the checkpoint so thats pretty neat
2:43 How'd you do that? I tried that with the white tanooki suit and he just broke it, fell, and died. Lucky me I had Triple Crown Lives (1110)

I’ve seen so many videos on speedrunning glitches, game breaking glitches… It’s kinda nice to see some fun and utterly pointless ones for a change.
How about glitches in Ocarina Of Time 3D? I would say Majora's Mask 3D as well, but a lot of those glitches are probably patched by now.

The glitch that starts at 2:30 seems like a good one... *goes to level* WHY WON'T THE WHITE RACCOON TAIL APPEAR???? *restarts game and advances until level 2-4* Lets try this again... *Does glitch successfully* OMG WHY?!
5:22 learned this funny glitch in World 7-5where the camera freaks out and the camera glides to 2 fake goombas. Every time I do this glitch it makes me laugh.

Fun fact: The last glitch shown in the video can also be done but with bowser on screen, it will freeze him, freeze you, and not drop the bridge. You just need to hit the button to drop the bridge before you trigger the bowser scene, which is impossible without cheats of course.

I don't know if this is really a glitch or not, but it's probably not supposed to happen. In W7-1 at the very beginning of the stage if you long jump just at the right spot, you can get across the water you need to fall in to do the level and can beat the level extremely fast, I got it in 9 and my brother in 7!
Thank you so much now I beat the level in 8 seconds and left my friends wondering how I did it. xD

About the baddie box, you can do it in special 8-bit land by getting the star from bonus power up block and THEN do the same

you can't do it if you complete the final boss of the normal worlds, since from that point all help powerups won't appear
The Fall Hover Glitch works with the normal Tanooki as well as the statue Tanooki!
Actually, the glitch at 3:36 occurs even when you aren't sliding down a wall. When you are in midair, your shadow goes through any platforms beneath you. It's just a lot more obvious when you're wall sliding.
I accidently did the final boss coaster glitch thing today and I was freaking out and I watched this video and of course it had already been discovered
2:33 I know this is pretty late but this also happens in Mario Odyssey, in Metro Kingdom, go to the area with the letters that spell Mario, if the camera is facing the pedestal of the letters, tilt around 135° to the right and you will see a man on the edge of a map cheering on nothing, but if you get closer to him, he'll disappear.
1:10 it could be because with a Tanooki Leaf, the rolling long jump involves Mario spinning his tail, but since when you jump on an enemy in a rolling long jump you do the normal long jump animation, it doesn't look like he's swinging his tail.
2:45 maybe because when you have the Invincibility Leaf, you kill anything you touch, but since the Enemy Spawner doesn't spawn an enemy when you're on it, it has slightly different programming and isn't meant to be killed in this state. Therefore it respawns within the next frame.
