- Happy Tuesday everyone, I hope everyone's week is off to a great start!
Please let me know your thoughts on the current singles market, are you a seller right now due to the fear of a crash? Are you buying, if so what cards?
Today we are taking a in depth look at the single market for the first 4 sets of Disney Lorcana.
Overall the prices have continued to drop for our Enchanted/Alt Art singles week after week. We are seeing some new low's for some of the more collectible cards, even Princesses.
It is a great time to stay busy as we are about to hit a bit of lull here until Shimmering Skies release and our next wave of challenge events!

I don't follow Rudy from Alpha Investments although I've seen a couple of his videos. I think some TCG youtubers are kind of looking to showcase short term gains. In the end, we should all do our own research and not only rely on TCG youtubers. I think Lorcana got a bad rap early due to the hype and supply issues. Now since supply is greater, they are discounting it as One Piece is hot right now. I feel every TCG will cool off eventually and normalize. As long as the player and collector base is growing, I'm in Lorcana for long term like you
YES! You hit the nail on the head.... the supply and demand issues to start Lorcana caused so many to write it off. All that's left is pure organic demand and growth.

I love Rudy (i used to be in the MTG space but now all-in on Lorcana) and I understand his pov. I think both are right, sealed investing does not look great, but certain collectible singles look like they will be great long-term and I also think this is the time to buy enchanted singles. I have a full playset (4x), a foil set w/enchanteds for each set as my collection, and I'm picking up extra singles that I enjoy - I have an extra 4x enchanted Surfer Stitch as that's my favorite card overall. A lot of local people seem to be selling as they are afraid of the falling prices so there are plenty of deals to be had.
@@jjbeloro3 I strongly agree I am very excited to pick up very cheap singles.
The Amazon dump is a concern we need to see how it shakes out, I hope we get some really cheap prices in the short term.
We all know anything that has to do with Disney in the long term run will always be worth it

I agree brothers! I am also in in for the long haul. Also I enjoy the hunt and collecting them! It cost too much to buy the first set of pokemon now,so I jumped on Lorcana considering it has characters from my childhood.I feel like in 10-15 years,the first few chapters will be worth lots of money
The hunt is so much fun, Lorcana is the best of both worlds. Affordable while still getting nostalgia!
Great attitude and prospects. Honestly, keep up the positive vibes and energy because it’s true, ppl collecting for the wrong reasons will get bent out of shape and will feel all sad and pissed when the market favours the buyer and not the seller. Even better time to stock up on enchanted air booster boxes

I'm holding strong on collectors items but selling meta singles to hedge a bit. I'm also diversified into other TCGs.
Playable cards are doing fantastic, no doubt.
@@CardboardKingdom ya I started a new account with TCGplayer a few months ago and already have over 400 sales. It's offset the chase cards I've opened and purchased raw. You can definitely tell there are a lot of players for this game because of how quickly a card loses value once the meta changes. And although it's difficult to time, I typically sell cards when they're hyped up because I have no real reason to think that any of the non foil cards will have any real value with their print runs in the long-term unless they miraculously stay in the meta. Anyway just my two cents
People are buying cards for set champs right now. That's where the gains are currently.
No doubt - its just weird to see some of the really hard pulls get so cheap in the interim.

Can asked your opinion I invest in packs to get a Robin Hood enchanted around 120 bucks at the time with my wife and we decide to grade it do you think is it wise to hold on to my Psa 10 Robin Hood or just sell it now ?
I personally would probably hold onto it, it looks like the cheapest buy it now listing on eBay is about $270, so that's not a bad return if you do sell it! It gets a gem mint grade about 65% of the time, so its not too hard to grade, but not the easiest either.

glad i sold my cards when they had value this game is a dumpster fire for anything but a few cards in the whole game.
That is certainly an opinion!
20+ min vid can be summed up in 1 sentence-hold on to your investment and continue building your collection (buying), it is way too long and unnecessary
