A card I still love for its potential is Peter Pan enchanted Error. those will never be printed incorrect again and psa 10 pop report is 170!!! People have just forgotten or stopped caring about this card and it’s so cheap RN. I actually pulled mine from a pack from walmart and it graded a 10. it was going for around $800 when I got it back now its price has been halved.

A friend and I were at the Fort Worth Challenge and one vendor had a serialized Mickey (CGC 10) and sold on Saturday at "a little less than 30k". I'm trying to find out the numbering (I think it was 012/500) but can't find if we noted it.

There’s too many cards to collect especially the high end ones so if you don’t have the disposable capital for it, then it’s best to pick your battles and only focus on certain cards or sets

I know the majority are grading with PSA however, I'm going after CGC prestine 10s Lorcana is kinda becoming a huge expense for collectors, investors and players i'm tryin to save up for the next set im hoping a lot of the prize cards from the championships come down more and more I pulled off a second at my LGS for ursula which took me 18+ games and 9 hours i really wish i could go to the D23 but yeah i have a feeling the 2024 D23 set will be more available August is lookin like a big month i just wish i had more money to buy more

I picked up my D23 expo set 1 card at a time (around $8k total), feels like these are as low as they'll ever be. Very pricey but I feel like once the new collector's set comes out, people will look back and see the original ones and prices will go up as they get picked up. The print run was supposedly just 900, while the new one will be maybe something like 20k+.

Beast is underrated in my book. I think he’ll become meta in next set, like pinging damage and constantly readying back up to quest. Also I played in a 9 hr tournament and got 2nd today. first time in any card tournament. What’s kind of lame is that the store had to close so they didn’t even let us finish our last game. Do you think chapter 4 enchanteds will go down further with chapter 5 release? I sorta stopped trying to do boxes since many enchanteds are coming down to $80-$150 range. i have some videos showcasing my enchanted collection some that are graded, i think it’s one of the larger collections out there.. definitely over spent this past 8 months.. Yes they’re good investments but man you really do need to cough up a lot of dosh upfront, least tangible investments you can enjoy in your collection.. in a way i don’t even want to sell off my enchanteds. they should be easy to profit some good margins waiting 5-10 years. i think i may of Over Invested..

You have crazy luck. I have opened three Floodborn boxes and no enchanted. I want a Mulan and Mufasa enchanted. We don't need another Ursula enchanted again

Still under MSRP, very playable rare and super rares and … no enchanted locations! I think rise of the flood born is positioned very well at the moment.

I hope they dont reprint those sets. A better route would be to reprint staples in a quasi-reprint set with new art

Investing in only the set championship cards like Ursula and stitch could also be a viable method for a guaranteed increase long term. Granted comes with a high barrier to entry.

Watching older vids now lol - but had similar sentiments about Rockstar Stitch and was able to grab a PSA 10 for less than current eBay prices so that was cool. That and the ch 1 enchanteds are the main ones I'm trying to find. Also just collecting all the Stitch cards even if they're worthless cause I like em lol. I actually really like the D100 one and the green safari stitch lol

I too think Ravensburger is knocking it out of the park. I think barring any major mistake by them or fallout with Disney, Lorcana will be a staple in the TCG world and will be talked about or referenced like Pokemon, MTG, or Yugioh is nowadays. I do have a slight concern with the pace of which they are releasing sets. Im not sure how often the top 3 mentioned earlier release sets, but every 3 months just seems a tad too much. I have an extensive hearthstone history and they release 3 major sets a year and I think that is a perfect pace. I do wonder how long it will be before they are having to consider limiting the playable cards (i.e. only last x sets are playable in structured play)

I thought you said locations were no longer getting enchanteds what changed?

I keep seeing people say that playability affects the value of enchanteds, but I just dont see it. Maui is played in every ruby deck, and the enchanted price does not reflect that. As well as robinhood, zeus, and others. Ursala deceiver of all is decently expensive, but that just seemed to be the errata buzz. Tinkerbell might be an example of one that is more because of playability, but I dont know if im convinced with just that example.

All of this is just speculation, we're all just kind of at the mercy of Ravensburger not post-editing their cards and shifting the meta on a dime, as well as new cards interacting with older cards by making them worse or better. Every set is enchanted or bust, aside from Chapter 1 because they don't readily stock it.
