The comments about the game dying are just people that don't go out and see the Lorcana tourneys and just hear one bad article/snippet and run with it. I am in SoCal and still hear stories about people driving 4-5 hours to go to some set champs and a lot of us here have friends all over the country with similar news that they are seeing a wave of new players because people can go to any LGS/Target/Walmart/Best Buy/Barnes and Noble and actually get cards.
Weird. Game pieces for a card game? So odd. I thought that these things were supposed to be super hard to get, be worth a ton of money because of false scarcity, and then pay for the collectors kids college fund or retirement. 😂

So related to EV from the last video, my numbers are much lower as I'm ignoring everything under $1 so that brings each set EV down at least 10% from the numbers that LorcanaFinance showed. I'm sure most people know but worth mentioning the high variance since it's extremely tough to hit even my lower EV numbers without an enchanted.

It’s crazy the way ruby community talk about Lorcana like that and you look at ruby videos and he has mountains of stuff in the background that want sell. But can’t take a chance in lorcana. Guess he has to sell the Weiss first to get lorcana.

We’ve clearly had a restock again on first chapter.
My LGS which is a big one confirmed they did not last night, I’m so confused.
Rudy does not like Lorcana because Ravensburger has come out and said that they will keep on printing reprinting as long as people want boxes. Making it uninvest able according to Rudy and he only cares about making money on investments and he cannot make money of it since he has no distribution so he likes to provoke so maybe they let him in he has a big reach would not surprise me if in a year he makes a video about chapter one and showing a position of a couple hundred boxes as a try out and he made bank he downplays what he likes and hypes what he sells
If/When that video drops of him hoarding Lorcana when first chapter hits $500 or $1000 will be a great moment.
I tell people all the time that Rudy seems like a cool enough dude that I would hang out and get wings with. But I don't trust him at all. He is a schill of a businessman and is always chasing money. He barely even understands Magic cards, and how a healthy competitive community is actually the primary driver for the costs of most cards.

I've gotten the Mickey enchanted Wayward. which, in my opinion, will skyrocket once a brooms meta comes out. I paid $70 for it. I have Aurora dream guardian. Also paid $70. Recently bought. Mickey Mouse artful Roguee, and I have Trumpet Mickey. I'm trying to collect the enchanted Mickeys for sure.
I'm pretty invested in Lorcana as a player/investor, or maybe hoarder who knows.
Those are some awesome prices! I LOVE both of those cards, they are two of my favorites. Aurora's artwork is incredible and that Mickey is flawless. Thank you for sharing!
I don't think that you can ask for Enchanteds that are in demand for less than that. $70 gets you 12 packs, and the odds of pulling Enchanteds from those packs is extremely low. Add to that the fact that you could end up with a card that you don't care for even if you do pull an Enchanted, and yeah, fantastic deal.
@Xoulrath_ I have an annual membership at my store ($80 a year). Once a month, you can get 20% off an item. It was during that third reprint when prices went down and Chapter 1 was readily available. My store sells comics and TCG plus hosts games all week. Really great store.
@@lerak8452 both of the stores that I currently go to do something similar. One of the stores will just do a sale for 4th of July, where everything (except entree fees) is 15% off. The other store has a frequent shopper system where you earn points and get to choose what you wish to use those points on (free soda, free snack, various discounts on products including % off discounts). It really is nice to get a little bonus from a store that I'd be shopping at anyway.
I know your channel is primarily focused on overall news and market updates. However, it might be interesting to do some pack openings on your channel if you are open to it. Ursula's Return packs have dropped in price. I don't think you can judge any TCG unless it's been active for at least a year or so. People like to make sweeping opinions. It's too early to say that Lorcana, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z will be successful. People are impatient in general. I see a lot of Pokemon on the retail shelves too. I do feel Ravensburger/Disney need make an online client though to replace Pixelborn. They can include code cards in booster packs like Pokemon to promote it.
I MOSTLY open with my family, but have ripped a few boxes by myself that I could record, I will try that in the future! Thanks for the feedback!
