      Hey Beautiful Curlfriend! 👋🏾
      1. I use quite a few different proteins, but I am currently loving these two right here: amzn.to/41nJA7h and amzn.to/41tUtV8
      2. As for pre-poos, this is the single BEST thing that you can do to your hair to soften it up and protect it before was day. I go into more details in this video 👉🏾 th-cam.com/video/X3S14Sn_pqQ/w-d-xo.html
      3. You can find all of my favourite fine natural hair products by visiting our Fine Natural Hair ROCKS shop on Amazon 👉🏾 www.amazon.ca/shop/finenaturalhairrocks

    Can people w/ fine low porosity hair detox their hair using water50/50ACV? I also, was told eggs & mayonnaise together as a deep conditioner is a great source of protein for the hair. Can anyone answer this question.

      Hi Starr! I actually haven’t heard of this method before but it sounds pretty good considering all of the amazing ingredients that you mentioned you’re using. How often do you perform the acv Wash on your strands?

    What about natural hair sebum? It can help using natural products that help move sebum down instead of washing it away. I use oils, Shea butter, natural shampoo bar. I have never had full sebum though and wondering if that can help eliminate the need for a lot of products, pre poo and deep conditioners

      Hi Amanda, thank you so much for checking out this video and for sharing your thoughts with me! I really do appreciate it 😄
      In terms of sebum and it's benefits on the hair, you're absolutely right that sebum is the best possible oil for natural hair. To be totally transparent, I haven't done a ton of research into eliminating the use of many hair products like prepoos and deep conditioners, but I would imagine that there is a whole wealth of knowledge out there about the topic. Natural haircare can definitely get expensive however I don't think it needs to be that way. I really enjoy trying out new commercial products, especially for my channel, however I've also known many naturals who's hair FLOURISHES by using things like oils, shea butter, and natural shampoo bars like you mentioned.
      I always recommend sticking to what works for your natural hair because you'll always know your head of hair best! 💛

      @@FineNaturalHairROCKS thanks for your response. I'm not sure what's working because I am changing my routine a few times a year, weekly washes, bi weekly, I tried daily washes and every other day too...different products, techniques and gentle protective natural styles with low tension and no added hair. I SHOULD have bra strap length by now but I'm stuck at armpit length so I'll be trying something new...again...because my goal is belly button length and I feel like I'm missing something. Finger detangling mainly helps me but my hair breaks easily so using the revair has helped by drying it more stretched. I will never give up, the trial and error is helping me learn. My Hair loves deep conditioning with heat that's for sure. Also I take vitamins now cause I thought that's gotta be it. But it's still a long slow process. I'm at 10 years I think 🤔

      Im VERY stubborn. I will keep trying to reach my hair goals til I die! I believe in myself, and I have an open mind to try new things. I have SOME patience but really trying to get 5 inches next year or more

      @@AmandaD33 Your experience with growing out your fine natural hair is consistent with what I've experienced as well as others in the natural hair community. I think the best thing for you to do is to keep what's working and only change what's not working one at a time. So if you feel like you see a lot of breakage on wash day, be mindful of when that is happening so that you can avoid it. For example, I noticed a lot of unnecessary breakage during my detangling process on wash days so I dropped down to washing my hair 2x/month and it's been so much better since. Do you keep a log of your hair practices? I've done this and it really helps as well so that you can go back, read your notes, and see where the patterns of breakage might be... I hope this helps! 💛

    How often should you wash your hair.

    • @FineNaturalHairROCKS
      @FineNaturalHairROCKS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Lashawn! This is a great question! If your hair is dry and you don't have a routine, I would recommend washing it every 2 weeks to start. If during that 2 week period, your scalp feels itchy or your hair has a lot of build up or your strands feel dry, then increase the frequency to 1 week. The answer to this is so subjective since everyone's hair needs are so different.
