Been natural since 2013 and started wearing up dos end of 2017. Hair is now thinning in top and experiencing major hair loss around edges. Had enough of up does and searched, hairstyles for fine natural hair and your channel popped up. Need to wear my hair down more now and am pleased to see all the styles you present on your channel AND that your vids are recent! Thank you!

Hello great tips, I have a question about curl formers. When using curl formers such as rods, is it better to use gels or mousses?

The wash and go is definitely my “thick” go to style but only summer. Other times it’s loose twists
Yes! I've never really fell in love with the wash and go but it is an awesome style for thicker looking fine natural hair. I do love a chunky braid out though! This summer I want to play with more out styles though.. I'm hoping that my shift to finger detangling/wide tooth combing for detangling will help me continue to retain my length... What styles do you like to wear to make your fine natural hair look thicker?
I agree with all your tips. For now I’m wear wash n go. It’s a bit flat the first day but by then of the week it’s voluminous (I rarely pick it or stretch). The curlformers are great and I use them when sometimes I have an event . I will blow out my hair and put the curlformers. I think it’s a good investment. I bought them with my sisters years ago and they still work fine. Congrats on reaching 2k and you’re on roll on reaching 3k soon. I’m happy to have won so thank you so much.

@@FineNaturalHairROCKS The last time that I installed the culformers was with the Curls Ultimate Styling Collection B Enviable Creamy Curl Gel. I lightly spritz with water and put this gel which is good for flexirod and roller set. I did have good result with the Doux mousse since it's can be use on dry hair.
@@psr076 this sounds like it came out really nice. The Doux is awesome for fine strands. I was able to achieve a really nice wash and go with the doux mousse as well.
The puff literally makes my hair look so thick being natural. Or just an afro when it's blown out. Now im relaxed but transitioning back natural, but I'd still say the puff with relaxed hair makes it look thicker
