I know not everyone’s body is the same but I was teeny tiny like you before having a baby, then I had my 9.5lbs daughter (so super close to your daughter’s weight). My body looked so much like yours after and it took a year and a half for my tummy skin to start looking more like it did before. Now at 2.5 years postpartum, I’m back to being a stick like pre-pregnancy and I only have a little bit of lose skin around my belly button. Definitely give your body lots of time to recover from growing a chunk. lol 💜
Interesting ! I was also tiny before my son then I had him and he was 9lbs 10oz and I got hugeeee. My body also looked a lot like hers and it’s gotten a lot better with time but my tummy skin is still a bit loose and I’m still 10-15 lbs heavier than before it just won’t come off , I’m now 3 years pp. I was 114 before and now I’m 125-130lbs. 5’6. Interesting how everyone’s story is diff. Also I gained 40 lbs during my pregnancy cuz he was so big and I was underweight but I eat n have same lifestyle as before but those 10 lbs r staying 🤷♀️
I had my 3rd baby 6 weeks ago, and just like you I was very thin and fit. It takes my body 2 years of lots of working out and eating healthy (80% of the time) to get back to what it was before.
I just love how honest you are and so positive of like a “this is the new me” and it’s AWESOME and exactly how all women should feel about their new bodies! Like you just did the damn thing and popped a HUMAN out of you. LOVE your body for doing that ❤️❤️
I have literally never commented on a video, but I feel compelled to. Thank you so much for being so upbeat and positive about your postpartum body. I love your acceptance and attitude that this is just what happens after pregnancy. So many women deny or hide the changes their bodies made, but you aren't fighting anything. Your perspective is refreshing and I'm reminding myself to be easier on my body.
Your daughter is so adorable, and you are gorgeous! I'm almost 37 weeks and your videos have kept me more positive about post partum. I love how real you are and no matter what you're talking about, you spread light and positivity💕
THIS HAPPENED TO ONE OF MY GIRLFRIENDS! Her dr told her the same thing and it turned out the epidural caused a small cyst on her spine causing the numbness and she has to have a surgery to remove it and then everything was fine. Keep pushing for a second opinion:)
Your stomach is not done changing, that used to happen when I would suck in! Basically it is the stomach muscles being super weak. When your core strengthens up it will be different.
I remember when I gave up on that after 1 year... And then when I expected it the least, I got my original body and belly back. So, it was just this huge amount of time.
I’m doing pelvic floor therapy postpartum and my therapist actually said something along the lines of what you mentioned! She said that after the baby is born your organs drop and fill in that loose space where baby was, and you can help your organs move back into place by laying on your back and sucking your diaphragm towards your head/sucking everything under your rib cage (for 5-10 seconds/7-10 times per session). Beware that sometimes this is advertised as a way to ‘get your body back quickly’ but it’s moreso to help your organs go back to the higher state they were pre-pregnancy!
Awesome video! Yes she’s most likely teething, pull out those bibs. My son started at 2 months. His dr at the time disagreed with me but 2 weeks later you could see the whites of 2 teeth. Momma knows best.
Love the way you talk about your postpartum body- amazing things our bodies do and the language you use to honor that is awesome! Thanks for keepin it real!
I LOVE LOVE how positive you are about your body!! Its so refreshing and inspiring and actually makes you look more attractive because you seem confident and secure with yourself!! Can you show more of what meals you eat during the week??
Brittany, thank you for taking away my fears about body changes as a young lady entering motherhood! I quit my birth control last week, wish me luck on this journey! 🥰💕
I had such a love/hate relationship with newborn days the first time around (baby is now 14 months old and I LOVE toddlerhood!!). I’m now pregnant with my second and due in 7 weeks and I’ve been very anxious - overthinking all of the negative things about having a newborn, but watching your videos makes me see everything so differently. I love how positively you see everything - to not hate touring the house to keep the babe entertained, to not hate the on demand nursing, to not hate the body that now is - I’m determined to glow and enjoy the fourth trimester as much as you have shown us in your content postpartum. So many people talk about how HARD the newborn days are, but with your positivity and realness you’re not only helping first time mums who are anxious about the future, but you’re also helping mums who’ve been through it once already. You’re teaching us how to appreciate the small things just as much as you. Thank you for your content!
Simply love how open, honest and natural you are! You're so laid-back in everuthing that goes on woth the baby and the way you present the aftermath of hour pregnancy body. So empowering! And also, you're such fun to watch! Tons of love and good wishes for you&your partner and your baby!
You look great and you seem so happy being a mom!! 💗 I love how positive and accepting you are of postpartum bod, too. I am REALLY hoping I’ll have the same attitude postpartum.
Thank you for sharing all of this! Because nobody talks about childbirth in as much detail as you do and it's really helpful because even though I don't want kids it's still nice to know that these things happen and exist.
So nice to see and hear a truthful update. I am 4 months postpartum and I have been working out and eating healthy my body feels and looks so much stronger and connected but the scale is the same for two months.. maybe it fluctuates a pound or two but no matter. my pre pregnancy clothes are fitting and I’m feeling good in my skin but the scale is not moving. And it’s all good.
You give me hope! I’m 22 weeks pregnant with my first baby and it’s a boy. I’m excited to have a bond like you do with Arrow. I’m excited for cute outfits and developmental milestones💕💕
I LOVE BOY CLOTHES! I literally just bought Arrow a bunch of clothing from the boys section from Cotton On, so cute!! Congratulations, you're going to have so much fun!!
i literally love you!!! i appreciate the realness & rawness. i’m just about to turn 20, not planning on having kids in a couple of years yet but i appreciate this for when i hopefully do! ❤️
I love how honest you are and how much grace you give yourself. It's so inspiring, especially for someone thinking about having kids soon. Keep being awesome!
Thank you for these videos and your confidence. I am six months and have gained 20 pounds and I’m trying not to feel too bad about it and your videos help a lot with not pressuring myself.
I love that you do this. My Son is 4 months old and I just got my period. Love watching someone going through the same experience and being so open and honest
Hey girly, I’m 5 days post partum and have been following you!! This new bod is crazy! I gained 50lbs and was tiny before also!! Thanks for the honesty mama we need it!! That’s why I follow you. Your family is beautiful, loves it ❤️
Love how honest and true you are to yourself and your body is absolutely beautiful ♥️ I would be very proud off my body if it looks like yours after 3months
This actually made me feel so much better about my own body, I’m also 3 months postpartum. I gave birth a week after you, and my body looks the exact same as yours. I had some false hopes that things would go back quicker than they have, and it’s okay that they haven’t, but it’s nice to know that it’s completely normal still. 3 months really isn’t long, thank you!
You should think how long did it take your body to change to get the baby grow in and get it out! Everyone need time for the body to get back to normal and thats completely ok!
New to your channel but I've watched a couple videos and just had to say I love how honest you are. The good the bad and the gross, you share it all and we or at least I need that. Wish there were more people like you. 🥰 Thank you for putting yourself put there, it's very much appreciated!
You are so beautiful!! I love that you seem to realize this despite the changes you've experienced. I really love seeing you embrace your 'new normal' and saying that weight loss is not a priority right now. That's wonderful. Enjoy your new baby!! What your body created is incredible!!!!
Appreciate the honesty! I’m a mom to an almost 2 year old girl and I remember these times. Some days were harder than others. Thank you for these videos and you and your family are the cutest! Been following y’all since the drunken “bean and cheese burrito” days 🤣🤍
I like that you do real time, especially the waking up footage, my little man is almost to his 3 months and I am so much wishing I could go straight back into my exercise routine from before everyone keeps telling me take it slow. I love your videos. ❤
you look so good!🤍.. im not pregnant (yet) but i love watching your videos to know what to expect and not freak out when my time happens.. youre such and amazing person and mommy🤍✨ youre doing great im so proud of you✨
yesss i love that you share the real tea!!! so helpful. Some people make it same so glam on Instagram so I really appreciate this. Literally saving every video so I can rewatch them when Im having kids
“32b- 32DD “ girl SAME I’ve gained so much weight that I was not expecting I went from a 32B to now a 36D, which is crazy to even think about 😩 I induce next week and I’m really just watching post body vids hoping I look nearly as good as you when it’s all over 🥰🥰
oh my goodness how adorable is she! my daughter just turned 1 and watching this takes me back when she was so fragile and wrapped up all the time like this. such a pleasant time and great memories with her!! so sweet
I Love your honesty... you are such an inspiration 😊I have nearly 3 months left and I am soooo excited for Kur little Boy to arrive 😇 your videos are giving me positives vibes 🙃😉 all the best ... 😘😘😘
Thank you for being raw and accepting of your body. I’m personally afraid of what my body is going to look like post partum. Seeing you talk about your body so positively makes me less anxious about mine. Thanks!
Love how honest you are!!! I ended up with a numb inner right thigh after endometriosis surgery and it took about 8 months for feeling to come back. It used to get quite tingly in the cold so I hope you’re not having that issue 😂
In Germany we have a saying that translates roughly to „baby is coming for 9 months and leaving for 9months“. Hope that makes sense in English. Your body has done incredible things in these 9months and now it will take its time to get (mostly) back to how it was before:) As a midwife I would recommend post partum training for your pelvis floor and core muscles (no classic sit-ups though) if you aren’t doing it already anyway 😊
Keep these updates coming! You’re a month ahead of me (my little guy is 7weeks old right now) so it’s like getting a preview of what is coming. It’s good to hear that I’m not the only one who plateaued on weight loss because of lactation hunger!
I breastfed my son for almost two years and i didnt get my period back over a year later. I'm now 22 weeks pregnant with my thrid baby. Your daughter is so adorable.
Post partum hair loss starts about 4-5months of baby's age... Mine started at 4months without any warning... Now i have only half of my usual hair amount... But everyone said it will take several more months to re grow... So if it happens one day suddenly, dont be upset... Love your adorable Arrow. Good bless your little angel and your family.xoxo 👶👍🌟💖
New momma here 💓 My baby girl is 5 weeks yesterday. When you said “you and Cody switch off in the mornings” what did you mean by that? We’re still trying to figure out a schedule for daddy to be more involved; any tips appreciated. I’m still breastfeeding and haven’t pumped regularly enough for him to bottle feed her. I’ve been watching since you first started or very nearly. Love your videos and am so happy for you!!!!
Arrow wakes up for the day between 6am - 8am and is up for an hour/hour and a half and then goes down for her first nap. Cody and I switch off who wakes up with her for her first awake time, and the other person gets to sleep an extra hour/hour and a half. BUT since i'm milk slave ATM I technically always wake up to feed her and can't always fall back asleep!
Routine with dad: Depending on how he works, I would say, let your hubby have his 1 hour relax after work, but he should be involved. If that means he comes so late that he would miss it, make it either the mornings (so 5am - 7 am), or make this once to twice a month "Daddy saturday". However you need both find out individually how you will do that. Also I took Tips from different forums.
@@MiaMizuno true! My husband has horrible shifts, he leaves at 6am and come back at 7-8pm so basically misses everything. But during week he sleeps in the couch so I dont have to wake up to feed the baby, she sleeps next to me and I can feed her while half asleep. During weekends im "free" 2 or 3 hours saturday morning and he's free sunday morning. When going out he carries the trolley and we share the part of calming her. We will exchange positions when I go back to work and he uses his paternity leave
To help me during the new newborn period my husband would get the baby, change her diaper, hand her to me to eat, take her back to burp her and put her back down. That helped a lot
@@pcuell00 Hi! I also have a little bub ... My partner does at least one day each week with little one. He also does bath, bottle feed and get the baby into a nap/bed time sleep whenever he is possible. Talk with your hubby and make sure your little baby gets enough skin contact and eye contact with his/her Dad. They say it is really important dad to have lots of contact and interact with a baby that will impact on baby's IQ and EQ. Hope for your family's good health .xo
I’m 29 weeks with a boy and love watching your videos and seeing the bond you have with Arrow. Definitely want to try Thrive Market! You should do a postpartum tmi video😁
Thank you for normalizing this. I’ve been terrified of what’s going to happen to my body after pregnancy (I’m 13 weeks now) and this helps me feel a little better... it is normal, and it will be worth it 💕
Thanks for being honest. You are really helping many women with your authentic videos. Thanks thanks thanks !!! For bringing an authentic video. You are a gorgeous woman
i love how real you are. thank you for making me feel 100x better about my pp body i DONT know where i would be without your videos. ALSOOO can you please make a video about your breastfeeding journey and that vitamin IV thing you did the other day!!!!
Needed to see this! I’m 2 months PP and I’m having a hard time accepting my “new” body, but your positivity about yours is amazing! You look great and your daughter is beautiful!
I love how real you are. I'm here for it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I just had my 3rd baby, he's almost 4 weeks. Have to keep reminding myself that it takes time to get back to normal Lol
I love watching these updates , I'm 2 months post partum , and my body is definitely different . I can't get rid of my belly fat. I felt discouraged because my first pregnancy I went back to my pre pregnancy belly and now it sags . When I breastfeed for 18 months straight I had 2 periods in total and got pregnant right away the moment I stopped lol . And I also have a hard time going back to sleep in the morning for the baby feeds .let me just add you look so glowing and amazing ❤️❤️❤️
Seeing your confidence about your postpartum body, and seeing it looks similar to mine makes me feel better and more confident about mine. I'm 5 months pp and my weight has stayed the same for the last two months. I love my body, but i do get down about it every once in awhile. Thanks for this video! You and your baby are so beautiful
I love the honesty in your videos, my son Hunter is 3 months old this week and it makes me feel so much better seeing a lot of the same things on my body! Loose and extra skin, weight not changing all that much after 1 month (but eating like I’ve never eaten before! 😂). Makes me feel much happier in my skin 💜
My son will be 3 months next week. I am also a first time mom. And I’m so happy that I subscribed to your channel. Thank you for sharing your experiences and keeping it real!
Been binging all your videos! I'm pregnant with twins & they give me the reassurance I've needed lately. 😅 thanks for being so transparent. 💕 your little squish is so cute!!
You look great. Your daughter is adorable. Weight fell off me after 1st child and minus stretch marks my belly was flatter than ever. Second child that didnt happen. Shes 18months now and still have a belly but kids are so worth it arent they. My bits were numb for a while too 2nd child for a while ended up in forcep delivery with her. I think its the pill i was on though as i have come off it a few weeks ago and feeling is coming back. My daughter only laughed for her dad for a while. Then she laughed for her brother. I was the last to get laughs
Oh godddd, why is this video over already. I need more Arrow and Brittanyyyyy :( I love it that you keep it real, this is actual and good information! Good job
Motherhood is so amazing I had ma twins 7yrs ago but my sterch marks and losen skin still on my stomach have applied almost everything no change so I gave up and feeling comfortable 😌
I'm still kinda new to your channel but I'm 36 weeks pregnant and tend to have big babies. I'm wondering how my body will be after this pregnancy, going from about 115 pounds to over 170 and still gaining. But its nice to have someone point out that it all takes time for bodies to heal after birth and not everyone just snaps back to their post baby weight. Its more about the time with baby and family than anything. I have two older kids that are teenagers and I swear they grew up in the blink of an eye. So thanks for the updates on you and baby and telling everyone not to compare journeys. I look forward to my newest little girl to enter the world next month.
My daughter *hated* her swing with a passion until she was what, 4-5 months? So yeah it definitely takes time but that thing saved me, I could go pee/cook/do stuff when home alone *thank Jesus* . I also remember her starting to get bored, I’m now struggling more than ever with her mobility and short AF attention span at 9.5 months 🤦🏻♀️ The first months were a blur indeed, breastfeeding is hard (don’t get me started on the hunger, it was insane and I was doing a combo of bf and formula) and you’re a fucking CHAMPION for pushing through. Arrow is the cutest!
My baby girl also turned 3 months few days ago, and everything you said about your body and about your baby is now happening to us 😊 She also puts her hands in mouth and drulls all the time, started laughing, started "talking", it's all fun and games now 😉
My baby girl is 2 weeks today. She is already grabbing, smiling, and trying to lift her head. I think my husband and I may have our work cut out for us as she continues to progress lol. Thank you for the updates❤
Love this !!!💗 your daughter is so adorable and u definitely look amazing 😊. I’m also in my 1month postpartum and I’m loving the changes of my body ✨ may god bless your family 🙏
Aw, thanks for being so honest, Brittany. You’re such an wonderful mom to Arrow! My babe and I are about 1 month behind you both, so it’s been really helpful to follow along with your journey. I wonder - is Thrive available in Canada?
For me: it took me almost a year. The first year Was just some wobbly state, no matter what I did. I was breastfeeding 6 months and had maybe only like 2-4 hours sleep daily. Meaning working out was something I could do when my toddler was about 8 months old
Our babies are actually super close. She was born a week before mine. But I planned a natural waterbirth and ended up with an emergency c section. They don't tell you your pelvis and stomach will be numb for a loong time possibly forever and I still can't touch my incision for more than a second or two without getting the heebie jeebies.
I pushed for an hour and 40 minutes with my first daughter, no epidural or drugs. The numbness is nerve damage, but it would be from the epidural, it wasn’t your fault from pushing. I would consult I gynaecological physio or something babe, it can be fixed and repaired hopefully but yeah, it was very much more likely the epi placement. Get it checked out. That aside, I love your videos. You have such a beautiful, adventurous little family. You look great at only 3 months PP, and Arrow is absolutely stunning, what a chunk 😍
I know not everyone’s body is the same but I was teeny tiny like you before having a baby, then I had my 9.5lbs daughter (so super close to your daughter’s weight). I would love to watch a real time “GRWM new mom addition” the struggle to look cute and feel like myself is real.
hahaha omg that would be goood
Yes please!!! How on earth do you look 🔥 all the time?!?! I would love to know your hair and makeup look!
I’m not even going to try to be cute until at least 6 months after. I’m gonna be covered in everything baby so im going to wait 😂

oh my goodness how adorable is she! my daughter just turned 1 and watching this takes me back when she was so fragile and wrapped up all the time like this. such a pleasant time and great memories with her!!
Love love love love love those leopard free people jumpsuits on you!
In Germany we have a saying that translates roughly to „baby is coming for 9 months and leaving for 9months“. Hope that makes sense in English. Your body has done incredible things in these 9months and now it will take its time to get (mostly) back to how it was before:)
As a midwife I would recommend post partum training for your pelvis floor and core muscles (no classic sit-ups though) if you aren’t doing it already anyway 😊
Your daughter is so adorable.
aww thank you, and congratulations!!
Your welcome and thank you
Post partum hair loss starts about 4-5months of baby's age...
Routine with dad:
Depending on how he works, I would say, let your hubby have his 1 hour relax after work, but he should be involved.
I’ve been terrified of what’s going to happen to my body after pregnancy (I’m 13 weeks now) and this helps me feel a little better... it is normal, and it will be worth it 💕
you're going to to amazing!
Thanks for being honest. You are really helping many women with your authentic videos. Thanks thanks thanks !!! For bringing an authentic video. You are a gorgeous woman
I used a waist shaper to help my body shape itself back again and with the breastfeeding it helps ! Still beautiful though ❤️! Keep it up 😊!
I'm 22 weeks with my first. Your videos are so refreshing and your baby is adorable!
awww congratulations, you're more than halfway!!
I love that you are so open! And started following maybe 2 weeks ago and you channel is growing fast! Keep going hot mama, you are inspiring! ❤️
Thank you so so much!! 💗
i love how real you are. thank you for making me feel 100x better about my pp body i DONT know where i would be without your videos. ALSOOO can you please make a video about your breastfeeding journey and that vitamin IV thing you did the other day!!!!
Needed to see this! I’m 2 months PP and I’m having a hard time accepting my “new” body, but your positivity about yours is amazing! You look great and your daughter is beautiful!
you're beautiful and thank you!!
You are my new fave TH-camr😍 I’m currently pregnant and I love watching your videos.
I love how real you are. I'm here for it! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I just had my 3rd baby, he's almost 4 weeks. Have to keep reminding myself that it takes time to get back to normal Lol
Looking good beb!!! Love your honesty and arrow is the cutest, I can’t handle 😭
♡♡♡♡
I love watching these updates , I'm 2 months post partum , and my body is definitely different . I can't get rid of my belly fat. I felt discouraged because my first pregnancy I went back to my pre pregnancy belly and now it sags . When I breastfeed for 18 months straight I had 2 periods in total and got pregnant right away the moment I stopped lol . And I also have a hard time going back to sleep in the morning for the baby feeds .let me just add you look so glowing and amazing ❤️❤️❤️
Aww thank you so much, and don’t be hard on yourself, you have 2 babies!! 💗
Your seriously inspirational! Your positivity about your new mumma body and all the changes have seriously helped me with confidence 💕
Looking at this with my one month old breastfeeding ! Always good to see that I am not alone in this situation ! Thank you for sharing !
Thank you for sharing your experiences and keeping it real!
missing my sweet boy at this age. 3 mo was the best month. enjoy these moments they grow up way to fast. my baby is now 13 mo ❤️
Thank you for being so open and honest, it is greatly appreciated 💜💜💜
This is making me feel so normal right now 🥲
NORMALIZE THIS!!!
♡♡♡
You’re awesome and amazing. Thanks for helping all moms feel welcomed and honored and honest 🙏
💗💗💗
Been binging all your videos! I'm pregnant with twins & they give me the reassurance I've needed lately. 😅 thanks for being so transparent. 💕 your little squish is so cute!!
You’re seriously amazing! I love seeing your journey because you’re so real about everything. Thank you for these videos 😊
Can you please include more of your dogs in your vlogs / a day in the life? x
I want your pjs they look so comfy
I have less than one month til my due date, I’ve been loving all your videos. ❤️
Good job
Thank you!! 💕
Motherhood is so amazing I had ma twins 7yrs ago but my sterch marks and losen skin still on my stomach have applied almost everything no change so I gave up and feeling comfortable 😌
I just love how real you are. You look amazing
I feel really nice watching your videos and respect for your honest reviews
My baby girl also turned 3 months few days ago, and everything you said about your body and about your baby is now happening to us 😊 She also puts her hands in mouth and drulls all the time, started laughing, started "talking", it's all fun and games now 😉
Brittany what lipgloss were you wearing in the beginning? 😍😍😍 it’s stunning
My baby girl is 2 weeks today. She is already grabbing, smiling, and trying to lift her head. I think my husband and I may have our work cut out for us as she continues to progress lol. Thank you for the updates❤
thanks for your honesty, that encourages us new mommas :)
I definitely replayed arrow sneezing 5x..so cute
Love you so much ! Great mommy ... I’m so glad you keep it raw and real !
Love this !!!💗 your daughter is so adorable and u definitely look amazing 😊.
I’m also in my 1month postpartum and I’m loving the changes of my body ✨
may god bless your family 🙏
Aw, thanks for being so honest, Brittany. You’re such an wonderful mom to Arrow! My babe and I are about 1 month behind you both, so it’s been really helpful to follow along with your journey. I wonder - is Thrive available in Canada?
Whoops - never mind. Just checked and they unfortunately don’t offer international shipping, in case any of your other viewers were curious.
you look amazing and i love how positive you are about all this
That baby is gorgeous and you are an amazing mama!!
Thank you for sharing about the numbness I had no idea this could happen!
I didn't hear a single word of what you said after 10:22 because I was just staring at Arrow WHAT A CUTIE!!!
For me: it took me almost a year. The first year Was just some wobbly state, no matter what I did. I was breastfeeding 6 months and had maybe only like 2-4 hours sleep daily. Meaning working out was something I could do when my toddler was about 8 months old
I’m expecting still in my 1st trimester and your videos are really helping me get ready for my sweet angel!
Aww congratulations 💕
@@brittanybalyn thank you so much! 💗
