Mama Doctor Jones is an OBGYN who has a TH-cam channel. In one of her videos, she says pregnancy is 40 weeks, so you should give your body at least that long to recover. I thought that was so encouraging.
For sure and sometimes it never is the same and that’s ok too! I always felt bad when I got to 9 months pp and was still different so I kinda hated that saying even though I know it’s well intentioned !
I’m 8 months pregnant and have been watching your videos this whole time. They’ve REALLY helped me, you have such a likeable and relatable presence, feels like hanging out with a friend. I really appreciate your videos Brittany! 💕
I feel the same!! So relatable and realll :) All the best for your birth and post partum, take it easyyyy! Everything WILL get better, no matter how hard it may be. New mom here and I think moms need to hear this MORE :)
2wks postpartum here and really appreciate your transparency in these update videos! It’s hard being a new mama and navigating all the changes. It is truly a remarkable thing that our bodies are able to go through labor. Love coming to your channel and hearing your story.
Im currently pregnant with my 4th baby and i gotta say watching your videos on being a mom is so nice. And i gotta say you are absolutely KILLING it as a mom
I really love how real you are. It makes me feel more comfortable to try for a baby, when I know what I am getting into. Arrow is lucky to have such a confident Mom!
The backward scoot is such a cute stage! My daughter was the exact same- loved tummy time, arm strength of a grown man, and started with the backward crawl. Now she is all about the army crawl!!
I found your channel before you gave birth, i was 30weeks pregnant, my bubba is now here! And i am still watching you! I love how honest and raw you are! I feel like you’re a friend sharing your experience with the 4th trimester which makes me feel so empowered!! I’m 6weeks postpartum and feeling confident with my body and ready for the up and down journey of motherhood!! Lots of love from Australia!! 🇦🇺
You’re amazing. As a 3 time mama (3.5yr, almost 2yr, and almost 3m), you’re killing it. You look amazing, you show the raw and real postpartum experience and I LOVE it. I used to think you were so cool and I wished I could look/be like you growing up and as I became a mom I started finding a lot of my favorite you tubers to be less relatable, but I am LIVING for mom Brittany and want to give you a huge hug if I somehow ever meet you!
I’m 5 months pregnant with my first, and with all kinds of sea-sawing emotions... it’s just such a balm to my little heart to watch your videos 😊❤️ you seem like a really sweet person and a great mom - the two of you and your genuineness are straight up therapeutic right now. Thanks for being you, and being here ❤️
I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my first baby, I have a heart murmur, and I've had severe anxiety for most of my life. Your videos are some of the only ones on TH-cam that I can watch without my heart and stomach dropping. So sincerely, thank you. I hope that I can be half the mom that you've been to that sweet baby, Arrow.
You look Incredible!! My baby girl is now 3 months and my postpartum body is not snapping back even with breastfeeding but this is my 3rd kid. Congrats on 7 months of motherhood! Your killing it!
She does look incredible. I’m 4 months postpartum. My stomach looks nothing like that I have a lot more extra skin. Though I’m older so maybe that makes a difference to recovery
5 month old baby and pp body is only now slowly slowly getting together (full time bf). I thought I will be faster being rather fit prior to giving birth but it takes time to be strong again! Saluting you from afar because..I have one and it feels like I don't know how I can have more because it's hard 😆
@@philippa5101 my 2 older kids are 14 & 12yr olds. Starting all over again with a little one at an older age has taught me patience and that my body may just need more time but I'm truly loving every moment seeing all 3 of my babies grow into their own personalities. I also have had 8lb+ and 9lb+ babies and stretched skin maybe just a part of it all that never goes away. That's life 🤷
Such a great video! I'm in my second trimester and seeing your videos really reminds me to just LOVE my body, and appreciate everything it does for me and my baby girl. And after babe is born in October, you help me to realize now already that it takes TIME. Also.. just ordered two bras! Thank you for the discount, my two friends have been growing like crazyyy and i need something comfortable lol. Proud of you for everything that you do for yourself, your baby girl and us! You help us mamas a lot!!
I’m 36 weeks today, and have been following you for the majority of my pregnancy. So glad I found your channel! I feel a little more prepared after watching your videos ☺️
You’re killing it dude! So many changes in your life and you’re still killing the mom game, you rock and deserve all the happiness! Sometimes when my 2 month old is crying and I can’t seem to calm her down I just remember what you said about always being happy with your mom because she was with you no matter what and you felt her love. That has helped me so much with the mom guilt I’ve been experiencing! Thank you for your dope and always honest content!
The completely understand the belly or middle portion of your body feeling like an accordion. That is exactly what I felt like after my babies! Perfectly summed up and I get it.
You are such a positive influence, love your honesty. You look fabulous 7 months pp, I’m currently 7 weeks pp and makes me feel positive about my body and more forgiving watching your vids ☺️
You are amazing and strong! My baby boy is 3 months old and I‘ve been watching your videos ever since I got pregnant with him. Your content is both entertaining and informative! Thank you for your transparency and vulnerability.
I'm 9 months pp - you're doing such a great job! Arrow is absolutely adorable. I have had a very similar experience with the belly changes - nothing changed until baby was sleeping through the night more and was nursing less. Hormonally there is so much going on in the beginning - people always think about the changes in sex hormones but not in the cortisol levels, grehlin/leptin levels, etc. They are so important! Agree with another commenter that it takes so long to create and support baby it really needs that long (and then some!) for your body to change. I wish our culture was more supportive + understanding with women instead of expecting so much so soon.
The coral and the chartreuse in those bras was so cute! The pj's also looked comfy. Sending you lots of love Brittany ❤ lots of change is hard to process and that's okay, you're awesome and take as long as you need to adjust
Thank you for talking about your post partum journey! I’m five weeks and I feel like my body has plateaued. Definitely haven’t lost much weight since the first week. But it’s a journey and I’m encouraged by what you share!
I’ve been watching you since 2012 and I’m also a new young single mom! These videos have made me look forward to a future for me and my daughter that isn’t bleak so THANK YOU! I’m so excited for you to start this new chapter love you 🖤🖤
You should be so proud of yourself hun! I'm 7 months post partum too and it is simply amazing how our bodies have changed the past few weeks! You are doing so so well in raising your beautiful daughter, her little smile at the end! 🥰

You are rocking it, even with the secret stress and tears and meltdowns. We are powerful and WE can do anything. Keep going girlfriend. You are an inspiration to many.

I had my daughter in January last year - I was actually lucky in terms of my stomach even tho I still feel a bit insecure . But watching your videos make me feel good and it remind me that it all takes time. And all you can do it your best slowly.

I know exactly what you are talking about when you say that you had no strength in your core, it was the exact same for me. I have been doing the strong mama exercises for diastasis recti and they have been working wonders for me! I have seen big results so far
In all seriousness. You look AWESOME. You really do!!!. I so appreciate your down to earth and for real attitude. You're hilarious 😆. The best to you and Arrow. She's SOoo BEAUTIFUL. You're doing GREAT!!!

1st off I wanna say go mama!! She’s doing so good and growing so beautiful🥰 I think all of us including me would love to see what arrow eats in a day! Would definitely help me out with some new ideas! Love you guys ❤️❤️
Can you do a what my baby eats in a day video? My baby is going to start eating soon and I really want to try blw because we did purées with my first son and now he’s a picky eater. Looking for ideas on what to start him with! 😊
You are amazing and strong darling, keep pushing through ❤️ and Arrow is such a beautiful baby girl, such an angel❤️ sending you all my love and support
Hey ! i just love watching your videos regularly..I am also 7 months postpartum and i am also blessed with a baby girl and the same situation is going on with me like not having periods yet and weight lose struggle but your guaidence and updates turned out so helpful for me.Thanx alot...Love from Pakistan Quetta...
Girl, we’re going trough the same, my baby is also amost 7 months no teeth 😅 but my baby refuses to crawl, sometimes being mommy and daddy is hard but everything goes away everytime my baby girl laughs and smile, sending a big hug, much love girl! 😊
I agree the 7 month is the craziest! Right when my baby girl turned 7 month she got both her front bottom teeth within a week and she started pulling herself up and cruising on furniture. She also started saying mama and dada in the 7th month! It’s all crazy to comprehend they grow up to fast!
I really love baby led weaning and try it sometimes with my son. He’s almost 7 months! However, he has a cleft and is going to have surgery in a few months and so we have to get him used to eating purée, or really just eating with a spoon. The surgery he’s going to have will close the cleft in the top of his mouth to close the gap that goes all the way to his nasal passage. Soooo he’s gonna have a sore mouth for a little while and doctors just recommend puréed food and eating by spoon, even his formula. However my next baby I really would like to try full on BLW if they don’t have a cleft. So excited for you and little Arrow!! She’s absolutely gorgeous and I love seeing yalls baby updates!! ❤️
I do like half/half BLw and puréed foods, depending on the food and how messy we are able to get that session. Example: it’s lunchtime but we have a appointment soon so no time for a big change or bath? Purée. But when it’s last meal of the day and it’s definitely a bath day? Biggest BLW mess ever! I find being flexible is best and I don’t need to be totally faithful to one approach or the other
You look so happy! I am so stoked for you and Arrows new life adventures xx. Also, would love to see videos on your journey with diastasis recti. Currently 26 weeks pregnant and I love how honest and real you are; seriously such a radiant quality!

Arrow looks like she has changed so much and is her own little person now! Love the new bras and underwater they look so comfy on my way to order some now! And you look happy and confident and that is awesome at 7 months postpartum.
I am currently 19 weeks and I absolutely love your honest videos. It gives me some idea of what I might expect after it and how to mentally deal with my new body image. Those bras look so comfy! Remind me of Sloggy and one type of bra bynCalvin Klein.

Example: it’s lunchtime but we have a appointment soon so no time for a big change or bath? Purée. But when it’s last meal of the day and it’s definitely a bath day? Biggest BLW mess ever! I find being flexible is best and I don’t need to be totally faithful to one approach or the other
