      I don't think he's competing as much as learning and then giving his own twist on a build. And they are both Pacific Northwest boys, just doing things that they enjoy. I've even contemplated doing a build or two.

    Hi Adam. With all those delicate threads to protect why didn't you Soda-blast?
    It's quite gentle but adequate for the pretty clean job you're doing,
    and rinses out leaving no residue, a double benefit for delicate threads etc.
    Would save you a lot of tedious work blocking off then unblocking.
    Just my 2c. Great series by the way, doing a good job. Like the music too..

    ouch I was getting hyped watching the pre-heat thinking there was going to be some hot spraying, shit looks so satisfying, but really I hope you know once you've blasted you shouldn't be touching it again with any cleaning product like please don't do that I almost cried at that point 😂

      Trent Reid that’s funny I’ve been powdercoating for almost 20 years . Like big heavy batch coatings and a ton of custom coatings . To this day I still only hot coat unless I’m too coating with clear . It’s soooooo satisfying hahaha

    Holy smokes dude fantastic job on the hubs and springs! Have you ever tried any of the other anodized powders from prismatic? I’m looking to powder my hubs an anodized copper.

    Wanted to know, after the wheel hubs come done from the owen what do you do to clean the inside of the hub (the shaft hole lol) from all the powder that comes in while coating?

      Thank you! I masked off the inside of the bearing race. Other then that it’s not a clearance fit for the collar piece so there’s no need to clean any overspray as it will not be visible or effect performance.

    Hey Adam, For sandblasting, what material do u recommend. I just got Glass bead delivered but did not try it yet. I used sand last time and worked ok.

      Thanks Scott. I recommend using 100grit alluminum oxide for cerakote if you’re just doing powder coat glass bead works as well. A lot of powder coating shops use Garnett

      Those small pieces should barely use but a few ounces.

      Thank you! The blast cabinet is a mod-u-blast E series cabinet. Great cabinet that I found used for a good price. I recommend finding one in a similar category used to save money. The psi is around 80

      @@adampaganelli4891 One other question and sorry to bother but I was curious what the brand and model was on those ovens. As weird as it is to say I have a much larger oven but I would like to pick up something similar to yours for small parts and doing single items, degassing small stuff and similar things like that. My 4 x 3 x 3 is great but cranking it up to do some MC calipers or a Master Cylinder is overkill, lol.

    Hey Adam, where did you get that spanner wrench for the shock nut? I looked on RMATV but couldn’t find one.

      It’s actually a steering stem one but it works on the shocks as well. Not a perfect fit but it’s better then hammering on them for 30 minutes haha. I got it from RMATVMC it’s one of there tusk tools.

    I chopped the spokes out of my 92 CR250 rims as it looked like crf250 would replace them...... they wont and i cant find any affordable replacements!

      It’s a used one I’m not sure on brand. My advice is look for a nice used one in the 300-600 range and make sure it has a built in vac.
