Insane Transformation of a $950 Dirt Bike!

- This video is 4 months of work on my YZ250 2 stroke condensed into a 15-minute montage and timelapse. When I originally purchased this bike it was a pretty beat up motocross bike with transmission issues, so I was able to get a pretty good deal. I immediately saw great potential in this bike and decided I wanted to transform it into an enduro and desert beast. I hope you enjoy the process!

Nice to see a build where they actually restore the parts they have instead of just buying new everything

It's mint! Great work Adam
Next build Some sort of 500 two-stroke?
Forget about the rebuild. Where are you finding these legit aluminum YZ's that aren't stolen for $950? I need your plug.
its a 2006 i think all 2006's were aluminum
kx250monster1023244 the aluminum frames are the best. They are lighter and almost as strong as the steel they used.
Just search for blown owns
i just picked up an 07 yz 125 frame for 700. they are tough to find cause it is a great frame
@@rapscallion3421for only the frame? i picked up a 2010 yz 250 for 900€!!
The bike looked better than mine before you even started😩
Hi Adam, I'm Sundra from Malaysia. I'm 60years old and i still love to ride bikes especially dirt bikes. In fact ride to work everyday I enjoyed watching your work on the transformation of the bike, makes me want to continue riding. Tq very much . Hope to see more videos in the future . God bless you.
There is something about a clean YZ build with the vibrant blue that really catches my attention.
That's no clapped out bike, that's a good bike to start with
It had a bad transmission. I should have specified in the intro
Your skill is amazing, you really know your craft. Impressive to watch. Thank you for taking the time to film and edit it, it's a lot of work! Keep em' coming.
You and Cameron have the best teardown/build/restore videos.
I love how you show just a clip of the harder steps (IMO) in the process, making them look like such a breeze. I hate getting my airbox and sub frame back on to my throttle body. Well done. I love this stuff. I wish more people would make these videos. I'd be happy to watch a more in-depth series of your build.
Definitely my favorite DIY build. You inspire me to continue with my hobby Adam thanks for the content!
Great job man! I’m doing an 87 yz 125 .I’ll show ya when I complete, I felt like taking an older looking bike and throwing my own flair into it while still keeping it some what older with a bit of a new look. U do good work.
I see this from France and this is always a big pleasure to see your videos!
Man awesome build! Came together and looks amazing. And thanks for putting a video like this together for us. I know it takes a lot of time/work to make one of these videos come together definitely worth it though man. Not many folks putting out videos like this either. Much respect man! 🤟🏻

Stumbled across your video while I just finished a disassembly on my friend YZ125 competition. I love your process and finish work. I love seeing a torque wrench too, I'm the same way, by the book. 😁I look forward to more videos.
