Looking back I believe I could've made some better decisions - namely, I shoul've went after that rich instead hoping to sink the Amagi. Also, I failed to turn on the AA in the final moments before fighting the CV. Some guys mentioned it too, I failed to deploy a smoke in the end - I was so frustrated by my team that eventually mistakes started creeping in. Small details, but hey, they do sum up... Thank you once again for the feature! Big cheers from Split, Croatia (yes, Flambass lives here).
Regarding the AA, it seems like you shouldn't even bother turning it off on the Shinonome. Its range is so short that you'll always be detected by air before it starts firing anyway.
14:26 Pretty sure the Kansas was the closest ship to his smoke, all other ships are accounted for on the minimap(other than the carrier, which I somehow doubt was rushing his smoke). The reason it was further away than when RPF switched is that when you said that he had already moved out of the smoke in the opposite direction and hence further away from the Kansas.
I have a new strategy called "Ass in when cappin" where as a DD I always reverse into caps. That way if you get spotted you can pop smoke and sneak away or if you are radared you can pop speed boost and bob and weave until your out of range. This strategy has greatly helped my survival rate and it lets you keep getting your hull back in the cap circle to gain or block points.
Had a game where a Buffalo was the only one left on my team. At 1k hp he bravely charged in, when we had a 500 point lead with 30 seconds remaining, after I had told him to run off for the past 5 minutes. I was able to take it with a laugth tho, as the enemy Ibuki got 6 kills and got to hard-carry his team. Probably the worst throw I've ever seen, but it makes for a fun game I guess!😅
Had a game yesterday were a tier 9 St Louis on full health decided not to push a cap against the last enemy an Algeria on 3000 hp giving the enemy the win.
@@hypppo According to all the in game statistics they do. Why do you think they don't? Playing for an objective is just as valid as playing team deathmatch, and the first one arguably requires more skill and less "dakka".
Ouch! That man did a job of work and it still wasn't enough. That's even worse than the 300k Bourgogne loss I sent in, since we were down pretty significantly when I tried to emulate Neo from the Matrix. This guy's team had everything going for them and just chucked it all away, and no amount of great play on his part was going to overcome that.
Of course he could have avoided it... He just had to trade that old junky destroyer for a modern DDG or a Ticonderoga CG and he could have counter acted the throwing... But that would have had a lot of balance screams in chat though :D
not sure if they do not see, or just do not understand it. Also you can get spotted signs regularly when you peek out between islands and such for a small time, so way too many just ignore it.

I have been there and, to be fair, enemy Lexington did the best to avoid (and eventually kill) Akizuki that was hunting him. In the end he didn´t play the best, although ... we all know how great is autopilot between islands...

I appreciate the editing style for this video. Zooming in on the parts of the screen that you're talking about like the map or the amount of players left really helps when watching on a smaller screen.
That "Actually Jingles" moment was golden! xD 300 points difference with a gain of 135 points per minute for the enemy team (3 caps = 9 points every 4 seconds) and a time left of 3 minutes: nope you cant run down the clock. The Alabama was out of options anyways, only a kill on the Hipper wouldve given her a fighting chance, but still probably a loss.
I feel this guys pain in chat there. I wouldn't be laughing I'd be furious. You can see that frustration in the Well Done spam. The fact the Fubuki placed top of the enemy team with when they died is quite impressive to. Lasted about half the total battle time and did far better than ones that survived the whole game. With one simple move, given, some of that was gained off killing an AFK, but still. If he didn't stay to see the rest of that game I'm sure he was surprised to see a win lol

I see this several times a game, and I all too often get sunk all too soon and add to the loss, I know this will keep happening, however, when it is 'Jingles' doing the running commentary the hits just keep on coming and we grin, smile, snicker, chuckle and very often laugh our asses off when we see others do what we do on a daily basis. LOL Keep up the very good work Jingles we all enjoy it.
World of window lickers, that Alabama didn,t deserve to be defended if ya watch the minimap, he was camping 50% of the game behind a rock behind almost everyone. Stuff like this and WG tendency of aggressive monetization and mis communication let me to drop WoWS all together, Glad I did.
I've enjoyed watching Jingles talking replays since 2015. At first, I wish I had a computer to play along. 6 years later, and, quite glad I never got involved in this Russian cash grab of a game. I also appreciate Flamu's smashing of WoWs, EVERY chance he gets! His getting booted as a CC was merely a prelude to utter nonsense.

That's all the fun left for me, playing with the detection-circle. Just got Yamamoto so i'm trying it on Shima, together with some Meme 20km Torps^^. Her Detectionrange of 5.4km makes it still very fun to play and you can get deep into the lines. Don't care that much about Radar, it's all about Position. And if you get caught in the Act, it's so easy to dodge with a DD. While US-DDs are a better Jack-of-all-trades imho Shima (or the Torp-IJN-Line at all) are the better DDs and didnt get powercreeped that hard. Torps still hit like a Truck and the Guns are fine
@@Tearnofear it’s not the IJN’s firepower that’s the problem it’s that almost all the other DD lines have more options than the IJN line. Also not talking about any of the DD lines that pretend to be DDs instead of light cruisers. IJN is just I hit hard or I spam hard but those have very harsh counters that some of the other DD lines don’t have to deal with if their captains have some degree of competence.
While capturing cap circles usually equates to a victory, that's not always the case. Sometimes your team mates just can't handle themselves well enough when faced with conflict, especially in these lower rank battles.

That Alabama guy was "the better half" of the team. And he has just 400 games played - interesting thing is that he jumped straight into T7-T8 somehow skipping all the learning part... I wonder whether it is typical thing now, with all those "ex pee accelerators" kindly provided by WeeGees to push people to T10 faster and easier and faster.
To be fair to that Alabama, aside from his tunnel vision on the Colorado, he was already up shit creek without a paddle, he was sailing south for a good few minutes trying to stop them capping A and so by the time st_dasa got sunk he was already sailing into that area. If he had retargeted the Hipper then he might have survived, but with how he seemed to love giving broadside to get all his guns firing, he probably wouldn't have survived the Colorado's AP shells anyway.

When you said the Richielieu was 7.4 km away, he was actually 8.8 km away, and he literally fired those torps on the gray line at the Kansas, so yes, they WERE aimed at it, he wasn't firing through the smoke 'because he thought the Hipper was on the other side'. The Hipper was spotted at B immediately before he smoked up. And literally as you said the Hipper was 'unaccounted for' he was spotted the entire time xD So, Jingles moment lol.

2:21 You don't need to turn off your AA if it is terribly short range, because firing your AA guns sets your air-detection up to the AA gun range. 1.2 km AA range -> No increase in air detection range.

Wargaming turned the CV ship spotted alert into a big beeping road sign and still so many carrier players don't notice a DD sneaking up on them.
well, you do notice, but in many games it is pretty hard to do anything about it, when you are spotted for 14 km on 25 km map :D

It’s not as interesting as you would think. Gearing line has options in the sense you can be a gun boat or a torpedo boat at will starting at tier 7.
