Based on the video, they look like Carlini Design Ape's. Reach out to our Parts Department to get what you're looking for!

Between a 2018 and 2017 what has the better ride? I’ve heard mixed reviews

That's a tough one! You're really going to be looking at performance and suspension differences more than anything. (Milwaukee 8 vs Twin Cam). Just looking at the stats side by side, the 18 is lighter and more powerful. The 17 does have the larger fuel tank (5 gal vs 3.5, and the 2023 Breakouts went back to a 5 gal tank). The 17 also has a more traditional styled headlight bucket compared to the LED 'slit' of the 18. I think you'll have to ride them side by side to be certain but I think the sportier monoshock frame on the 18 will ride better than the more cruiser dual shock frame on the 17. It'll really be the style of riding you're looking to do and personal preference, as both are awesome rides.

@@TobaccoRoadHD cool thank you for all the info! I appreciate it! Trying to get my hands on a 2018 barely used, but if I can’t get it I’ll end up getting a 17 barely used probably

Also the m8 has that scissor gear whine which is closer to a Japanese sound. Throw some cams, exhaust, air cleaner and a good tune and not only will the twin cam sound better, it will be quicker than a stock 117.

Does this bike have a jiffy sensor that turns off the bike when in gear?
