one of the best channels on you tube is this guy right here.he works on great stuff, describes what he's doing and can understand him as he talks well!!!lol..
This is why I love your videos, I have a brute kinda doing the same thing but the belt light isn’t on… kind of tired of throwing tons of money in it but now after watching this I feel confident in trying to look into it myself. Thank you for making these videos and being so informative!
Glad the video’s help out. If your brute force is fuel injected and is lacking power but the belt light it’s not flashing you might have a weak fuel pump. Might want to check your fuel pressure.
Appreciate that man but it actually has a new fuel pump and it is the carbureted model. It ran fine then suddenly acted like it was in limp mode but no bell light. Just haven’t had the time yet to really look into it. Very disappointing because I just recently got it back from being at the dealer for 13 months.
@@bradarcher3863could need a carb clean , also if been sitting a lot , check the fuel condition , fuel now days seems to go bad fast , machine will run but lack power and not run good ,
Man I’m new here, so glad I found ya! You’re the person I aspire to be. In all seriousness I could tell immediately you were an extremely honest and genuine guy, keep up the good work!! I’d trust you to work on ANYTHING I have!
Amazing such a small change in shim's can have so much effect on the belt, I've read about changing king Quad gearing to be shorter by shimming sheaves closer together. So punchy, Efi has that instant throttle response, interesting Kawasaki allowed such good response, especially at low rpm, factory like that.
It really doesn’t take much to throw the clutches out of wack.. these things are very punchy, could get a newbie into some trouble if they weren’t use to it.
I don't know why but I've always had a soft spot for the brute force..I had a 2010 360 that had over 12,000 miles when I got rid of it in 2015. Bought it new. Like any machine they all have there quirks but all in all it was very reliable and only ever left me walking once when the clutch grenaded
Wow 12,000 miles is impressive for sure! I’ve only owned 1 prairie 360 in the past and I was impressed with it. It has all the same features as its bigger brothers such as the yellow lever front diff lock.
Yes sir, I put about 2500 miles a year on it. Very reliable machine a bit under powered but it was a good machine for sure. This brute seems to work fairly good for an older machine. Definitely responsive. I like the older sra ones too
I have a brute force with 11k on the dash nothing but pure maintenance keeps them running I change the oil every month I don’t keep track of the hrs but they have been the most reliable machine I’ve ever owned
Loved this video I have a 2005 brute force 750 almost all the same issues with oil leak, fan not kicking on and of course mine is the carbed one so needs a tune but she rips yea my 4x4 was funky too I ended up putting the manual actuator on it that helped it out a lot keep up the good work rock
Iam from San Antonio tx I started watching you’re vids before I had atvs now I have 5 brute forces and I love them I have a 2004 2005 2006x2 and 07 750 lots of power I have had Hondas and Yamaha grizzly 660s and they just don’t compare to the vtwinpower I want to see those brute forces you have running hopefully soon
Thanks for watching and supporting this whole time! That’s awesome that you have 5 of these things! I’m hoping to get to mine at some point but customers come first.
Thank for yours videos. The best support channel for ATV issues. If you have a polaris 570 with electrical problems like variations on volts since 14.3 to 15, please make a video of the possible solutions.
Yes , First thing to do with machine you don’t know is definitely check oil , then if driving it , do a brake check is my next thing next thing and throttle check before starting , as I been caught a time or two where customer never mentioned it never had brakes or that the throttle was sticking , lucky I had time and avoided a crash,
By spacers do you mean thrust washers? Isn't counter effective to remove parts and not change the belt. I can say with snowmobiles a thinning belt is not conducive to good performance
Hello I am looking for by one off these just i can t choose. Between brute force 750 2007 or a sportsman 700-800 2007. Please any advice Thankx Best Regards from Europe Romania
Hi , can l ask u , my trx 680fa rincon fuel injection honda quad 2006 , l replaced the rear relay + airfilter+new fuel pump + new filter kit + new plug + cleaned fuel tank + new iacv + injecter is working correctly, when l start her sometimes she dies out but will start up right away, she is a bit lumpy when give her the throttle, can u figure out why she is dying out + running rough or rich , how to fix thanks
Adding oil regularly is normal procedure for brutes. ..they consume oil. ..especially on long hot mountain climbs. ..check and top up daily and itll be good
Thanks for the comment and glad you enjoy the videos! Now when you say only allowing reverse when the override is pushed down.. do you mean it won’t allow you to move at all in reverse? Usually without the button pushed the limiter will kick in around 3000-4000rpms in reverse as a safety feature. Then when you push the override button it allows full rpms.
@@rockspowersports rite! But SERIOUSLY,… seems like some people just think to rinse off plastics and call it hood BUT everywhere u have to put ur hands in/on is FILTHY!
Those kind of folks keep mechanics in business, though. They just ride 'em until they break, then take them to the shop. All it takes is just the minimum amount of care and preventative maintenance to keep them going strong, but people just don't care enough about their rides to learn. That's why I never loan out my things.

He has to be the best in the world one handed mechanic holding a camera in the other hand. Good video.
Pretty impressive doing all that with one hand tied behind your back.

Appreciate that man!
The bf 300s are snappy. Surprised me. Great vids
Great job on the Brute … I cleaned the rad on my old 400 prairie in the dishwasher … when the wife was away of course 😊 it did an awesome job.
The Brute v twin is my favorite twin got a sweet refined sound
Absolutely, always loved the sound of the Kawasaki v twins ever since the Praire 650

I went with the 300. Very simple. Plenty of power. I ride in florida. Deep sugar sand. Never an issue. So far?

First comment love the content what’s your thoughts on an outlander only alllowing reverse with the override button pushed down ?driving me nuts

Won’t let any rpm build until I press the override then it reverses like normal
Speed sensor?
On mine the limp mode comes on when the battery gets unplugged. Ended up buying a new belt for nothing after changing battery.
biggest problem i see with the brute forces is that they are thirsty af for gas...
lol that’s because everyone drives them like a maniac. I have one and if I don’t ride it like a bat out of hell it’s fine
I wish he would get a tripod for the camera very hard to watch the videos
I have a Honda rancher 420 four wheeler
and??
The 300 looks to me like a big gy6 engine. Watercooled verticle shaft. .......
Don’t ya love it WHEN CUSTOMERS don’t CLEAN ANYTHING before TAKING THEM TO GET WORKED ON!!???.. gee-whizzz🙄🤷♂️ and they call them “THEIR BABY”!😂🤣
Yeah.. I’ve had a lot worse come in though.

Please pronounce it shiv not sheeve 😊
As far as I know everybody here pronounces it like I did. Haven’t heard it pronounced shiv before. Do you live in the US?

You weren't very observant and look over the machines!
Way too many freaking adds.
Why wouldn’t you put on a new belt as long as you had the primary’s off?
