What I like about the joy cons sliding off is that my sons have their Nintendo Switches mounted to the head rests while in the car and they are able to play games on two switches or watch TH-cam together as the head rest holders can swivel in multiple directions. This OneXplayer could allow my sons to play roblox together as the device could slide into the same kind of holder. Right now they have to hold the SteamDeck or OneXplayer Mini or Gpd in their lap which gets hot and isn't as comfortable in terms of motion sickness for the very long drives we do for their sports. I'll be waiting for the 7000 Ryzen series and my goal with this device is to make it the all in one PC for each of my kids, so with the keyboard or connected to a display, they can also work on homework or web browse etc. Edit: I ended up grabbing 2 x OneXplayer 2 , 32 gb ram and 2 TB for my two kids. Luckily there was a significant price drop and they threw in the connector for free for each device. I was also able to get another 5 percent off and the elite pack (with the keyboard) x 2 for 99 bucks. I'm okay that it's not the 7000 series because my kids are heavy gamers but 6000 series will be alright for a while. I'm also building a RTX 3070 eGPU for the TV at home.
great vid thanks. I have this setup and it does fit inside the case with the onexplayer 2. put the soft screen flap down and place the connector on top. it fits. the case is rather thick for the onexplayer 2 there's enough room
It is powerful, but its Joys do not have an accelerometer or gyroscope, they are not independent, that is, they do not connect separately without an attached base, be it the device itself, or a connector purchased separately. The prices of Joys are too high and even abusive if we compare the absence of sensors. This should be reviewed. The good thing is that we can connect Joycons from the Switch to it, or Dual Sense from the Ps5 or Joy from the Xbox, however, I noticed a limitation of up to 4 pairings via Bluethooth. Wonderful device! If its joys are revised and sensors are added, it will be perfect.
I’m happy with performance, it’s a beautiful machine, does bug me that it was pretty much outdated when I got my connector, and even now I’d prefer my Xbox controller. If ur on a budget I’d just skip this one.
They have a Pro version of this out with the 7840u so that one is also an option. i think everything else about the device is the same just the Player 2 pro has the upgraded graphics

I'd love to hear your opinion on the following, please. If you could buy the Rog Ally or the Onexplayer 2 for $700, which would you buy and why? And also out of those two, which do you lean towards and why please. I'm torn between the two, and I'd love some advice, please, in your opinion.
Probably the ROG ally because it’s more portable, lighter, the higher refresh rate screen and has a better controller feel. If I wanted more raw power, the larger screen, and higher resolution I’d go with the Onexplayer 2.
I would go with the oxp2, bigger screen, bigger battery, detachable controllers(can be replaced after wear and tear), 2280 storage is cheaper than what Ally uses, You’ll never use the 120hz screen with the SoC provided, and the build feels like cheap plastic compared to the oxp2..
Personally I don’t think so unless I don’t want an Xbox controller. An Xbox controller just feels better in the hands, but it’s also another item to lug around we’re this does make it slightly less to take around.
I disagree. I've been pretty happy with the OneXPlayer2 Pro and this connector. I travel a lot and I simply don't have room for a controller in addition to the oneX. I can throw this connector in a business card pocket and it's ready to go act as a gaming console on my hotel room TV. This setup is lighter than an Xbox controller, lasts longer per charge, and is super comfortable to hold. Triggers and buttons are fine to me and I've been gaming for 25 years. I didn't wait for this for months, it was *included* with my onexplayer2 pro pre-order and they were here within a week. Maybe I'd have a different opinion if I bought it separately and had to wait for months, but for me, I like it.

Nice video. I have the Onexplayer 2. Haven't used it as much as I thought I would. I'm uncomfortable updating the software...
It’s not very difficult, they make it hard to find though.

They have a Pro version of this out with the 7840u so that one is also an option. i think everything else about the device is the same just the Player 2 pro has the upgraded graphics

I’m confused by what you’re asking here, I’m not tech support but I can answer a question for you here.
Mine did not came with the side covers.
Are those separate purchase?
I’m not sure, I didn’t pay for mine though. I’d reach out to the company

@@1UpNerdcore is the quality between the two screens noticeably better on the Ally? And which handheld do you find yourself using more often?

How to install the wallpaper thar he is using?
Wallpaper engine app off Steam
Can this be paired with a regular PC and use it as an Xbox controller ?
Yes 👍🏻
My light won't turn on...
If it’s at full charge and it won’t you might have a defective item.
Can I use It on any PC?
Yes 👍🏻
What are the games you played?
Doom Eternal, Destiny 2, Deadcells, Horizon Zero Dawn.
Is it worth it?

Can controller connector use gyroscope ????
I played one game and it did but I haven’t tested it more
This connector really feels clunky and was not worth the wait honestly
