- Mercedes will launch its production-ready version of DRIVE PILOT in the United States. The class-leading system for conditionally automated driving rolls out in late 2023 with a limited fleet of SAE Level 31 equipped EQS Sedans in California and Nevada called DRIVE PILOT: First Class. In early 2024, Mercedes Benz plans for additional customer deliveries of DRIVE PILOT equipped MY2024 EQS Sedan and S‑Class models with participating authorized Mercedes dealers in California and Nevada.

Isn't stopping in the middle of a highway forbidden by law? There's a reason why the minimum speed is at 50km/h. Imagine if the car stops in a curve and there's a car incoming at 120 km/h, isn't this the recipe for disaster?

It's programed to stop in the middle of highway traffic in case of a medical emergency? That's not safe. Why would it not use the shoulder?
my friend's Tesla did this to her. brand new vehicle, electrical failure, the vehicle just stops in middle of lane on a busy traffic. Vehicle had to be towed.. Must say wasn't a fun experience
This is so complicated that I wouldn't even bother using it. Better to find a simpler solution, without so many restrictions.
The news made me believe it was far ahead of the Tesla AutoPilot. They were so wrong!

I just got my 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ, it has GM's Super Cruise it is much better than MB. It can even change lanes without my input. Super cool

@@SquidCena I mean look at the exterior of S-class, it's not as good-looking as Camry in my humble opinion! And all the driver are the owner and they can't afford to hire a driver, and drive this big sedan is dump in my humble opinion!!!!
