Generally the equation is a little less than last raise * 3 + any additional money in the pot. For example: 3 x 26 +10 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 = 95 About 88 is the bet size. That shows 2 limpers, 1 raiser to 10, and another raiser to 26 in a 1/2 cash game. I like what you said about tightening up depending on the number of limpers. Makes it easy to remember how much you should be tightening up.

Same ranges, just adjust raise size. Something to consider is the table dynamics. If everyone is limping alot, play tight aggressive. Punish the limpers with big raises, better cards and better position. On the other hand, if no one is limping and the table is playing tight. You gotta play looser to punish the tight straightforward play style. Ranges are a just a guide imo.

@18:50 -- so you're *not* opening JTs in early position? That seems overly tight to me, in all but the most aggressive games. IMO, JTs is an example of an *implied odds* hands, not a reverse implied odds hand. When the board comes 89K and your opponent has KJ or KQ, they're going to lose a lot of money -- you just need to have the discipline not to go crazy with top pair.

One thing I never understood. Why include A4s and A5s but not A2s or A3s? You're just as likely to make a straight or flush with A2s as you are A4s. And if you hit 2p with A2 it isn't much worse off than 2p with A5.
and the double-gutter that A3 can flop is 457; when a 6 comes you'll then be vulnerable to anyone with an 8. when A4 flops 356 and a 7 comes you are not vulnerable to a bare 8.
I’m not sure about A 3 - that’s probably being used to balance other actions, but A 2 cannot flop open-ended unlike ALL of the other wheel aces - that’s why A 2 is so bad

sorry 356 on A4 is open-ended not a double gutter. 🤪 but the point about not having reverse implied odds (s/o ihaok) applies to both 356 and 357.
