Me “Im not that interested in warhammer” Grimaldus “sons and daughters of the Imperium” Me “god damn it grab your lasguns brothers and sisters, the Xenos must be purged with faith and fire”
For the last 3 months I am listening to this speech on the treadmill. Your Grimaldus gave me hope and I already lost 10 kgs of fat. I love the acting and your music! I am aware that your passion lies in music, but these voice actings of Warhammer are inspiring and feel unreal. Your work was something that I did not expected that I needed in my life. Emperor's light guide you.
Happy to see that i am not the only one, i hope you are doing even better now. I lost 12kg in the last 4 months, listening to the speech of sanguinius and this video when i was running. Continue like this brother.
The Helsreach animation has a more..."heroic" feel to it, but this one is so realistic. This ain't no hero. This is a fanatic. This is a grimdark Chaplain, a genetically engineered child soldier of a totalitarian religious state, doing his duty. God this is so good!
@@Lorgar64 Pretty much all space marines are taken from the age of 8-13 indoctrinated to be totally loyal, and fantic, and trained to be nothing more then "The Emperors Angels, His greatest weapons." Most are about 16 when they become space marine neophtyes. Of course hes hundreds of years old, but he became a space marine in his early teens more then likely and even before that to be looked at for even being possible to be a space marine he had to have been a soldier before that so yeah just about ever space marine is a child soldier since space marines normally chose barbaric feudal worlds as their home and recuiting world.
@Lorgar64 I know it's super late now but all space marines (with some exceptions more in the horus heresy era) are taken as children and put under the training and body modifications. Majority of them die while the rest become neophytes
This blowed my mind away. It was amazing. The fact you made slight alterations to the original text and were still able to give me shivers and bring my blood to a boil shows how much passion went into this. Great work and thank you.
My man that "for the Imperium" in the fade out. Thank you for this gold. Keep on. How fortunate we are to live a time we can access such a magnificent and inspiring lore. Never forget that.
I love the animated Helsreach but this shows the fanaticism in the Templars. In the final battle in the book Arterion is laughing when he says “Good bye brother” and Grimaldus is also laughing as he is cutting he way through the orks. “I am still laughing when the basilica falls.”
Ive always used your songs Otar The Foul and Warriors Boon for my D&D combat playlist. To now find THIS on your channel is just incredible. NO PITY. NO REMORSE. NO FEAR.
I think my favourite thing about this reading is the end… like no literally. The change in his voice to a wrathful, played up inspiration to the troops to a silent, almost saddened tone to show how he truly feels is fantastic. You really get the sense that he’s doing this begrudgingly out of a sense of duty to his chapter and his master instead of his own accord. The opening speech of this entire story is Grimaldus coming to terms with and fearing the idea of him dying needlessly in this pathetic conflict instead of swinging against the chaos or Tyranids. He’s been reluctantly dragging his feet through the muck of this world and on the first opportunity of leaving Armageddon he tries to take it. Everything has been leading up to this moment and even now with his own useless demise staring him in the face he has the bravery to give one hell of a speech. His voice booming with the Devine violence of the emperor’s angels of death, the war machines that no one can stand against exclaiming madly how his enemies will be hurled over the walls and how they will burn in lasgun and fire. All up until the end as he gives this defeated “for the imperium” with the same energy you would put into grief. It’s like he’s disappointed or mourning his own end before it comes and it fits the struggle this character is going through. It’s why I liked Hellsreach and it’s why I like Grimaldus. He was strangely human in this book.
This is fantastic tremendous voice acting ive heard many people do this speech including the original and i really like this one truly feels like youre there fantastic! also you sound alot like Crispin Freeman he voice alucard in hellsing and hellaing ultimate amongnst 100s of others again fantastic work
@bigredsdreamcarnightmares7853 I haven't seen the regular version...only three TFS parody version (which is funny af), and so I'll need to look the original up! But if such a high-quality anime dub voice actor is what you're comparing me to, thanks a billion, bro! Rock on! 🤘😁 More voice acting to come after my upcoming marriage!
"Are you not insulted?" Such a great way to begin a speech

FOR THE LEGION

Well that's awesome! :D Keep up the good work, and Emperor guide you! I'm glad you enjoy!

Send Grimaldus to the Tyranid front...they won't be a problem anymore
I know it's a year old but:
ALL THE YES!
Now that is how you inspire the troops! Taking them from thinking they are about to die to thinking they did not send enough enemies to kill.
Amazing mate. I honestly think you're the best 40k voice actor on TH-cam.
Epikus and Chris Glass. Chris does a crazy good job of doing Talos’ “our legion is dead speech”
@@Or_Am_I_AlphariusI'll have to look Chris up. 😁
Him and Vox in the Void honestly.

Mate you brought this to life. Animation was good but your VA delivery with the rest is gold. Cheers bud and I hope good things come your way.
Listening this while reading the same speech on the book. Masterpiece.

A great effort! You really poured your heart into it!! No disrespect though , Johnathan Keeble's work is unsurpassed.
Agreed! He's the best! Give Christopher Tester's Warhammer demos a listen too, while you're at it. 😁
