Ngl watching this gave me much less anxiety about going into this industry. I thought id have to be over the top and full on. I know some agencies are like that, but this changed my perception and suites my relaxed personality much more.

Also you didn’t mention the agency fee on the call if im not wrong- when would you discuss that.... and lastly would you send the Agreement contract first for the fee etc or the CV?

I do both my bro but having a candidate initially definitely helps. The fee I mention after they show interest in the candidate, she told me they've used agencies that was good enough for me to know they pay. Once shes interested I'll tell her what she'll pay. Hope that helps

Akhi you should do it in a way where we can hear the other person. There are apps that can help record with that or put it on speaker
I could do this but then I do have to be confidential. We actually record all our calls and thus I can easily add this in but I have to be careful with their information.

and akhi maybe mention that this is specifically for your field. In building and construction it’s colloquial to call man mate or buddy. But normally for a sales call to a advertising agency or another company you can’t do that
This is dependent on who you're speaking to and not really the industry. If I felt that person was a young individual 25/35 I may still say Hey Bud or Hey Pal. I wouldnt though say that to someone who sounds like 50/60 Or obviously a female. Hope that makes sense
I used to generate leads for CNC manufacturing companies such as Mazak, Colchester Machines and many more and one thing I loved about the engineering sector was the fact that they were very black & white - meaning if they were looking they’d tell you straight up, ‘yes I’m looking, what have you got to offer’ - no beating around the bush, just straight to the point! Great sales pitch mashallah brother

How does contract jobs for agencies work in terms of the back end. Does the company pay you the wages and then you take margin and you pay the contract staff their wages?
