- See description below please!
Firstly, I apologize for the lack of visual video detail.
Secondly, thank you go pro for constantly failing me lol
Third, DO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
I purchased the HKS FCD (Fuel Cut Defender) from Nengun.
Vehicle: 1997 Toyota Chaser, originally auto swapped to manual. Still running the A/T ECU.
Wiring: DO AT YOUR OWN RISK. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES DONE TO YOUR VEHICLE. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR WORK BEFORE CUTTING/INSTALLING.
The FCD has a red, black, white and yellow wire.
Red - Goes to accessory power.
Black - Ground.
Yellow - Spliced into the MAF wire (Green/ black stripe in my application) going TOWARDS ECU.
White - Spliced into the MAF wire (Green/ black stripe in my application) going AWAY from ECU.

Did this fix the cutting issue?
Ive got a jzx100 mark ii. Its hitting boost cut on me. Been considering the FCD. But as you said, very limited information, and even less wiring information haha.
Negative, it seems like I just had the cutting issue less. But it was still there unfortunately
@@yellowshopbuilds hmmm i wonder how they run em over there without going full standalone. Must be something haha.
Yeah I'm not sure. I did make a note of my wire change in the description but it actually ran worse. As of now I took it out and just power through the cut lol I plan on getting a stand-alone soon though
I also plan on a standalone.
Would you suggest the fcd, or should i just deal with it till i go standalone?
Just wanted to squeeze everything from the ct15 i can haha. Mines not very built i believe. No J pipe, no cat, and a tomei exhaust. With a greddy front mount. But otherwise its stock i belive, no boost controller or anything.
But if the air is a little on the colder side, it cuts hard haha.
No boost controller and it cuts? Running stock boost? If so that sounds odd. I started cutting out around 15psi on a larger turbo. I personally would just skip the fcd.
