    What car is this engine going in? Lately I am thinking about building Prado 95. I imagine Prado 95 can be built really nice with long travel suspension kit, some wide body kit, and supercharger. I can't find such build on internet.

    Might as well put the heater hose on the back of the engine. They are a pain to get to once the engine is installed without removing the intake.

      I was thinking the same thing. Removing the supercharger/intake plenum is about the only way to get to those hoses on a 5VZ once it’s in the truck.

    Man would I love to do this to a complete rebuild on a 3.4 for my 2002 Tacoma X-cab, but I can't imagine the costs of just the add-on parts. If I knew these parts were going on it I would completely re-imagine the parts I'd use for connecting rods, pistons, rings, bearings, valves, roller rockers and lifters. I'm at 181k on mine and I lucked out finding my truck, as it was single owner and garage kept, with a new frame. The interior is mint, and right now everything works, and works well. Doing the timing belt, water pump, idler, and tensioner pulley was a task foreign to me coming from GMC, Ford, and Dodge/Ram, but the last tag from Toyota on the timing belt cover said 79,811, so I knew I was due at 180k.
    I'd love to see a video walk-through that covered the build. I was able to pull off the timing belt swap with the help of another TH-camr's in-depth instructional video. The nice thing about this video is that they did not assume some laughable character, there was no unnecessary hand waiving, they did not waste time with dad jokes, they did not allow family pets to become a distraction, they did not drift into likes and dislikes of (name the topic), they had great camera angles, they had good lighting, they provided procedure cautions and warnings, and most importantly they did the swap with the block in the truck without removing the radiator.
    This is the gold standard of how a how-to should be constructed. I'm not a great teacher, but the testament to good instruction is success by the student.

      P.s. A key to their success is one person is doing the work, while the other is taking the video and providing narration. I know people are trying to help, but when you film your own instructional videos you are unintentionally your own worst enemy.
