I must say , you really did your research with everything. I think its a really positive thing that u can communicate with the locals, the way you made the taxi driver go from 1500 to 500 was really accurate , cause they try to take advantages of people with less knowledge of the place. And the way you turned down the guy asking you for money and didnt sit with him was probably a good decision as it most probably would have been a scam. Some people are super nice , some are average and some are total idiots. I hope you dont judge a place by the behavior of some minors. I hope you enjoy your stay and find more beef nehari .

Saying سلام is not any kind of curse though. People say it all the time in greeting, in many parts of of the world.

Hi Karl, I enjoyed your video. it's sweet the way you were mixing Hindi and Urdu!! I just want to share with you that there is a bit of cultural difference, not necessarily the lady wanted to be rude or interrupt on purpose but yes usually as South Asians( Indians / Pakistanis) we might not necessarily have the patience to wait for the other to finish conversation and the population kind of pushes people to first think of themselves. Culture in India/ Pakistan has a lot of warmth and love but etiquette and patience are not necessarily a quality( given the general lifestyle) that you will see everywhere. but hope you didn't take it to your heart:)
