- Hello Everyone and Welcome!
In this video I go to the spot where I spent my very first night in a hammock. I am here to do it again. The blackflies are crazy so after I set up the hammock I gather what I need to light a small smudge fire. Hoping the smoke will keep the flies at bay.
I collect some firewood for the campfire so I can cook my supper. I brought 2 Huge potatoes and a Monster of a steak. It's a nice relaxing evening by the fire.
I would like to give a shout out to a very special young lady. Ann's daughter moved in with us a few months back. She is Autistic non-verbal. She doesn't speak but she has plenty to say. She communicates using a combination of Sign language, texting, writing on a white board or using a program called proloquo to go.
She has a youtube channel of her own called 'June's Village' where she tries to explain her life being Autistic. She gives us a glimpse into her own little world. How she sees things differently and how she copes with different aspects of day to day life. It is very interesting. If you are interested in seeing her channel I will leave a link in the comment section below my video.
Please join me on this hammock adventure!
Thanks for watching!

Now that’s a proper steak diner Andy! The black flies have been brutal this year and hopefully they are done soon. Thanks for taking us along Brother!
Agreed! those pesky little jerks can go away. The steak made it all worth the trip though. Thanks for watching! 🤝
Hello, my friend 🤝. Cool hammock. It's very cozy around the fire 🔥
Thank you my friend🤝
Thanks for the shoutout Andy!
You're welcome!
Hi June. I found this channel thanks to you. And you are very very faster than Proloquo with your new Communication app.
Do you understand me? I’m not a native English speaker.
@@ercanmutlutashan1 yes I understand you! Thanks for watching our videos!
Nice nature 👍💚
Thank you!
I can't be more agree with you about those black flies........I prefer to be this side of the screen than your side. But this coffee near the lake realy worth it !
Yes! Morning coffee by the water is always worth it. Thanks for watching! 🤝
You are a trooper, you can see the flies on the screen, that time of year, nice little spot, and nice cookout, will drop over to June's channel, thanks for sharing your trip with us and congrats on your subs.
Yeah the flies are nasty this time of year. A good smudge fire keeps them at bay though. Thanks for watching! 🤝
The black flies are just terrible right now eh!! Love the steak supper, I'll be giving the hammock a try soon as well.
Take care Andy✌
I love my hammock! I always get a great night's sleep. Thanks for watching! 🤝
Awesome video buddy and some great food
Thanks for watching!🤝
Omg, the flies would drive me crazy!! Great video!
Oh and that monster steak made my mouth water! lol!
I didn't expect them to be that crazy. The wind usually blows through there and keeps them away.....
That monster steak was monster delicious! 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching. 🤝
I found your channel thanks to June.
I think you know she shared part of your video.
Thanks for watching both channels!
You're going to have to start packing the Ohuhu stove alone so you don't have to find trash to make a smoker under the tarp 😂 there's no way at all that I would put up with those flies. I can deal with a lot, but not that. And of course we enjoy watching your travels. It's awesome that you guys are adjusting so well to your kid being there. I'll definitely check out her channel for you. And hopefully you hit that 1000 subscriber mark soon!!
I didn't think the flies would be that bad there. The wind usually blows through there and keeps them away. They were nasty🦟🦟🦟🦟. I survived. The smoke cleared them up pretty good. Thanks for watching! 🤝
Great looking camp Anndy except for the low flying aircraft. I sure do enjoy watching your ridge line set up. Seems to be a perfect set up. Thanks
I came up with that as an easy means for Ann to set up her own hammock and tarp. It works very well. Thanks for watching!
