Those rain chills are best cured with a good sleeping bag LOL. Nothing like a good nap with the music of rain. Sometimes smiles can come from the simplest of things and I think in the woods sitting back relaxing enables the mind and the eyes to see things clearer , Welcome to the GREEN Cup club. Awesome SONG Anne !!! LOL. I may have to incorporate that in a video and of course if I do the credit will be back to you guys . When you were in at the beach initially I thought I was seeing something off distance run through the woods was watching closely for it the suddenly Lucy runs out and I realized was her all along LOL. We call the split weenies camp spiders or octopus or squid weenies , always delicious no mater the name LOL The lake was like the glass in the morning would have been a great morning for a paddle. Was an awesome site you had there I've made a few of those fires under the tarp moments lol. You guys had a great week for sure. Thanks for taking us along.

Good morning Anndy , definitely a great way to start the day , I'm not good with hats either. I use to , never took it off my head once then for some reason I stopped wearing it and now I find it so uncomfortable at times occasionally I can wear it and I do agree it's a must especially on the water. The mosquitos are unbelievable in the evenings when the sun dips and the evenings cool, I wish I had a solution ( I guess I'd be a rich man if I had the solution LOL) That was a nice fish at 8:52 for freshwater fish around here that would be a monster lol. What type was it ? looked delicious in the pan. Great idea using rocks to keep the canoe level and making it easier to handle. A refreshing dip in the pond is always nice after a sweaty day. I have to get myself a flint and steel I've never used that method to start a fire you did a great job with it. The rain was definitely coming down around the 32 minute mark enough to fill your fire pit LOL , gotta love the double rainbows though. Sorry to hear about your doggie. Lots of great memories I am sure. Great trip you had there. Good on ya for taking out that water bottle someone else had decided to leave behind. I always do the same. I can't help but think when I see garbage left like that.......If they carried it in full, then why so hard to carry it out empty!!? Honestly, it's a good thing that breathing is an involuntary action or I'm sure those people would forget to breath. Rant out. 👍👍

I just lost my dog to a stroke last month and I’m still crying about him… grieving with you and I’m so sorry we are going though so much pain together…yet there is so much joy to see all these people in your comments that are supporting instead of being rude internet people which we see far to often these days. ❤️‍🩹 deepest condolences and love sending your way, Lucy was beautiful and such a good girl from the looks of it 🥲

One thing I really need to do is slow down and do some fishing when camping. I'm always moving around exploring unless I'm at camp cooking. Sure is awesome that Lucy got 1 last big camp in. Can't wait for the next part!
