As does Leliana.

In this instance, I'd actually say Wynne takes the cake because of her reaction. In every other instance of DAO, any time you are caught using blood magic during cutscenes and she is in the party, it always ends up with her fighting against you. But for this scene, she only gives a -40 disapproval. I mean, this would be a massive blood ritual involving lots of people but she doesn't really seem to care because they're all a bunch of elvesinstead of humans.

Mary Sith City Elf female is the best choice in the game imo. Female because of the origin stuff in the beginning: wedding, group who gets captured etc. Also, through out the game being female has some fun elements on its own. So all that and simply returning to an enslaved Alienage as a jacked up heroine god n rippin em a new one is freakin righteous. Satisfaction level 100.

What I always disliked was that he can ask 100g from you, but no matter your persuade or stats, you can never demand 100g from him, even when he's defeated.
I use a elf so,I never need to hear this garbage. My elf would kill a shem just as easy as he would a genlock if they cross him or endanger his people, family friends or his love.

I mean boost health, and potential boost to our coffers, are offers that are always nice and tempting; yet it's making a deal with slavers, and that in itself feels a bit dirty.
It should have been stated how much and the numbers way bigger - 1 constitution WONT convince anyone. 10 constitution on the other hand though. Its like if I told you "if you let this terrorist act unpunished, you get a dollar." then you would report the crime and get a bigger thank you ffrom the authorities for this act. 1 constitution is simply not enough.
What I never understood is why the whole dilemma? Strike the deal, get the letter, behead the bastard and free the slaves. If he is actually smart enough to take some precautions to prevent you from doing that, just remove step one and two, behead the bastard and free the slaves. Same thing with the city elf origin. Get the key, loot his treasure, then go back in there and eviscerate that filthy shemlin.
I was doing an evil rp and romancing Zevran. When I was considering the bargain he saying "my friend" gave me the red flag and my Warden became an elf saviour.
@TheVolourn Yes, Sten always came across as one of the more ruthless companions, but he did at least express shame and remorse for the people he killed before the game started, and those killings were more of a crime of passion, whereas sacrificing the elves is very cold-blooded. This scene makes me reconsider which of the companions is the most evil.

I love DA-origins. its for sure the best of the series. Other two are OK in comparison the fact you have different choices has always been this games strong suit. funny how Wynne says ITS BLOOD MAGIC NOOOO!, when she herself is one... download the missing diolog mod where it puts in all the stuff that was cut out for one reason or another diolog wise
the developers took out a bunch of diolog from the game, a friendly neighbour hood modder took this and made it into a mod. releasing all the lore and infomation and funny talks that were not released. its quite good, but as it turns out that when you gain full favor with Wynne she confesses her using blood magic to sustain herself for a small time that allows a spirit into her to help her live.
Sten is using a mod called "Sten Armor". The Wardens are using "Grey Wardens of Ferelden" armor mod with optional tint. edit: zevran is using armor mod from witcher series, and morrigan is using a mod called "concept morrigan".
On a side-note, if for some reason the Warden's failed the elves would be a good distance from the Blight, seeing as how the Alienage was hit pretty hard during the invasion. XD
I'm conflicted; on the one hand since Mass Effect anything that says slaver on it gets shot repeatedly or in the case of Dragon Age stabbed in the face ..... on the other they're elves and I've always hated the self righteous basterds.
The Dalish aren't even really all that self-righteous? Their second homeland, given to them by Drakon, was ripped from them by Drakon's son calling for an Exalted March on them, despite how instrumental they were to the Chantry's foundation to begin with.
