I need a video like this for every different piece of clothing please! Grey sweats, hoodies, tshirts, sweaters, trousers, jeans, and shorts. I'm just getting into style and trying to look nice, but there are so many different brands and options its overwhelming !
For me it's all about the silhouette. You can find some walmart sweatpants for the same silhouette if you get the size right. I usually shop at H&M, Uniqlo and Zara. Not a fan of over priced clothing.
Calvin klein, tommy, armani exchange, hugo, boss, jack and jones aren’t over priced. They cost more but at least you get some clothes that last you longer. Not as versatile(depending on the logo) but overall if economy is what you’re after, you’re better off just buying branded clothing and nit all that polluted cheap laboured fast fashion. That’s the reason they’re so cheap, cheap labour. These brands i mentioned are sustainable, those big brands aren’t really brands anymore but fashion houses, not made for the consumer market.
@@makerl1fe388 If you think that these brands you mentioned are sustainable, you should do more research. Yes, they are a notch higher quality and not as bad as fast fashion brands, but they are just as guilty of polluting and unfair wages. The true sustainable brands are few and far between, and usually you pay a very premium price. Honestly, even though it's been said so many times, your best option is usually thrifting and buying second hand since you basically leave no negative enviromental footprint and you might find some old pieces of every category that were made better than the contemporary ones. At the end of the day we should stop guilt-tripping people so much for being poor and focus more on making them aware of alternatives to fast fashion and how ingrained to the fashion industry unsustainable practices are at EVERY possible part of it.
the thing i love the most about tim's channel is how the channel is not just about style, it's about him exploring the world of style. it's been awesome to see your evolution and how much fun you're having with it
I like his content, but how is he exploring anything? His looks are always very similar. His color palette doesnt change at all. Black, White, Cream/Offwhite, brown, jeans...thats it
Tim, the amount of camera angles and pace of the video is really good! I've seen a lot of fashion content creators make videos in a more kind of static way with pictures; and you're really putting the effort on making it dynamic and I love it! Keep doing your vids with all this love!
I think one brand that was missed was John Elliott - they basically made grey sweatpants "mainstream" in the mid-2010s and still put out a broad range of fits and amazing materials
Purple label fabrics are next level, they've always got unique textiles and they use them in creative ways. I absolutely love everything they produce. Just need to time your purchases around their sales. Still going to be expensive, but at least you get the quality that luxury always claims to offer and never usually seems to quite live up to with some of the European brands.
Essentials would definitely be my pick as the best. Surprised we didn’t see any Cole Buxton sweats on the list, they’re also a great option. Great video!
For those who like the stitched crease on the last pair, the Adidas Beckenbauer track pants have the same detail, albeit in a more athletic style, for around $70. I have a pair and I love them. Slim-straight fit, zipper pockets, never wrinkle-highly recommend.
I've got a pair of grey Aime Leon Dore sweatpants that are my perfect grey sweats. I've had them for 4 years now and the integrity of the fabric is still amazing. Haven't bought another pair of grey sweats since I got them.
Cashmere wool is out of this world comfortable but yeah the care of them is complicated but its not that bad. Keep in mind that according to Levi’s you shouldn’t wash a pair of jeans as well. Always remember that its wool so if there’s a pair of pants that may shrink its them both models in cashmere. Don’t ever put them in the dryer unless your goal is to shrink them into grade school sizes. The nice thing about cashmere is that it will adjust to the temperature, its way more breathable than cotton. Also, wool in general is the only textile that keeps its temperature when wet. For example, you won’t feel as cold if it rains on your apparels with wool vs cotton or polyester. I skipped a few benefits because i don’t want to make a wall of text and I’m sure I missed many more pros .
Hey Tim, will we ever see a bump up to 1440p? It’s a small improvement, but with Your production quality already being top notch it would be even more enjoyable to watch
For me I really like ESSENTIALS’ sweatpants . I always wear them when I wanna look class but still wanna wear street wear. Pair them with a bunch of sneakers , a plain shirt if it’s too hot or even the ESSENTIALS hoodie if It’s too cold outside. I even love their shorts.
Average build 5.6”/168cm tall, w’ beefier butt and thighs here and Nike NRG solo swoosh track pants and the Australian-made brand Australian Stitch are my two favs. Both and comfy and flattering and the latter are surprisingly easy to dress up with a crisp shirt and boot or chunkier brogue shoe.
THE thing about grey sweatpants (or any sweatpants for that matter) is that after some washes they just loose shape. So in order to REALLY get perfect ones you have to wear it for some time!
i found my perfect grey sweatpants at zara 2 years ago, unfortunately the pants lost its fit completly, its now just a wide stupid looking tent lol.. its always the same with cheap clothes... but the problem here in germany is, there are literally no highend stores, only the cheap stuff... and i dont want to order expensive designer stuff online...
Loved this video coming from you! This format has somewhat become my niche in the fashion TH-cam realm so there were plenty of takeaways as to how I could make my content better. 🙌🏽
I feel like what’s missing in this video is a pair of cashmere sweatpants. Although the price point is quite high, you can’t get anything more comfortable than that.
Liked the pairs that you choose. The Colorful Standards look very good. I also can recommend the Los Angeles Apparel 14 oz. Heavy Fleece Sweatpants for cozy fits.
Honestly from my experience and in the same price point as Weekdays, I'm really feeling CottonOn sweatpants and UO sweatpants as well. I own alot of Essentials and their sweats dont do it for me.
What about basic athletic sweats like Russell or Champion? They are way cheaper, and honestly, I can't tell a huge difference. It's hard for me to justify paying so much more for something that looks pretty much the same. Other than that, I also like the fitness brands, like Rise, Do You Even, and Aesthetic Revolution.
Man I was delighted for you when I went back on your channel after not seeing it for a few months You’ve doubled in subscribers in that time Well done!
Last time I went to Brazil I bought a pair of gray sweatpants from a brand called Malwee (w pronounced like a v) and the fit, comfort, quality, and look of it has yet to be beat by any brand I've bought sweatpants from
Them Herringbone Ralph Lauren 🔥🔥🔥. The price, not so much and I can't with the cuffs. I'm more of a jogpant (?) type. I highly recommend BONNE GUEULE, a young French brand, who specialises in fashion staples for men and women. Their edge is that They mostly source, make, design and cut their clothes in Europe, mainly in France, Italy, and Portugal. With the exception of their denim that is from Japan, wool in N-Z and large scale collection fabrication in Roumania. That is quite a rare feat, nowadays. The fit are brilliant, so are the prices. €150 for a mérinos jogpant, that I had for over 3 years now, look almost as new. Worn it for professional, casual, and more dress-y occasions alike.
Just wanted to give my 2 cents. I bought the colorful standard sweatpants you recommended after this video and I will be returning them. They are less soft than a pair of Costco Kirkland sweats and for the price I was a bit disappointed they weren’t more heavy duty.
My absolute best pair of grey sweatpants that I own are a pair from 5 years ago from Primark for £10 and they are slim but not skinny and have zipper pockets. Absolute goats.
Lululemon mens heather grey joggers are in my wardrobe i love how cozy they are and the silhouette stitching the deep pockets all mesh so well and the aesthetic is exactly what I want to wear
initial Music choice got me thinking it is about to go dark "controversy". It is different to the vibe am used to on your videos, yet I am with it. I enjoyed it.
Just got the ASOS Design Sweatpants in Black (I am an all black everything kinda guy) and holy shit for 18€ they are very goog quality, already washed them twice and they look like new, you got a new follower my man.
Great video and breakdown of your thoughts on the sweatpants! I'll probably give the Weekday a shot since they're affordable and wide. Finding well-fitting sweatpants is a struggle as someone w/ muscular thighs
That’s very nice and all but the only grey joggers you should be buying are the Levi’s ones from the Tab collections. Best value for money of all time.

Also kinda weird that he missed Nike sweatpants.

Would have loved to see Represent Clo in this line up too. Maybe for the gray hoodie comparison video
@@hejhejaske really? i kinda like mine - a good balance of comfort, weight, and fleece coziness
@@judeankrah3816 I agree, Represent is getting bigger and better by the day. Also, Cole Buxton has fantastic sweatpants

Great video Tim. I would love to see a part 2 where you review other brands (either from recommended in the comments or others you were considering).
This video is really a lifesaver, not having to test a bunch a brands to finally find a quality sweatpant

Always a joy seeing that you’ve uploaded!
I cannot understand how you can promote ASOS and ethically responsible brand in the same video. Blows my mind
Just like that 😌
Abercrombie and fitch make an awesome oversized one . Its the most comfy sweatpants ever . Soooo soft
The production quality in the beginning 💯🔥 Killed it!
I wonder where you would place the Cole Buxton sweatpants
Thanks for taking pictures of the sweatpants while hanging up. That's seriously the most helpful thing to tell if I like the fit or not 🙌🙌

Sweat pants is life. Do one for summer sweat pants, you know with lighter materials than thick cotton
Hi Tim, first of all good job for the video ! I’ve notice you’ve changed the background and it feels cleaner and cozier ! Congrats 🎉
You can wash cashmere in the washing machine, just make sure you use cold water and a "gentle" or "knits" setting if your machine has it.
