Yes, I did mention it and used it... I forgot to switch modes to combat before firing them, and they didn't deploy in time to stop the first attack, so they got my FSD off line.
The signal sources feel bugged to me, 95% of time no matter the threat level I only ever get scouts, so I'm also just bussing people out for way more of a payout.
I see a lot of folks complain about wanted passengers. Line up and boost out of the slot and don't stop boosting till your FSD is charged. That should allow to avoid getting scanned.
I would imagine that this is the start of the colonization narrative ... mankind being severely battered thus needing colony ships to go forth and re-build our future ...
I'm rinning the anaconda and doing well with it. Also love the ED Copilot interuptions. I also can hear chat from other players in solo with my ed Copilot. I also got lucky with a passenger that will pay more than my normal run by itself while watching.
Do you use the heat sinks to get some distance. Below 20% heat they cannot see you well. This is how combat anti-xeno ships are flied defensevely. In that scenario I would use 2 heat sinks and stay cold all the time. I can go in silent running too for zero emissions and dropping the heat with the heat sinks. Just asking.
Thanks for your video. I do this with a cutter, no problem if you have the credits and materials for the engineers. I can even take a first class module with me. I have so much space that I can do 20 missions at the same time. Unfortunately, sometimes the ship is not full because not enough inhabitants want to flee 😊 I have had the ship for a long time, so it has some unnecessary things on board such as weapons
With so much excess wattage, you can definitely afford to undersize your power plant to save some weight. Go down 2 sizes and armor plate it to make it more resilient and slightly more heat efficient. Additional wattage does not help you.

So i'm not going on that journey again 😆 Exo biology/planets is the main reason. Found some great chains of star systems i'm surprised nobody has claimed. They stand out so much on the route i'm going Anyway.... lol

Same. I left my Asp Explorer in the Sol system a good while ago. No ECM or point defence as I recall. I wonder if I'd be able to get her out of there in one piece. It's been a while since I piloted a ship. I need a refresher, and it doesn't seem like a good time to get one. I'm maxed out on reputation with all factions in sol but I didn't see a single 50mil passanger mission on my list and I did at least 20 runs between sol and V886 Centauri. Am I doing something wrong?

I tried to deliver passengers over to a rescue megaship I ended up getting shot at by the mega ship in blown up so I'm confected to file a lawsuit of ethics Because you should not be getting the bounty and getting shot at for trying to do anything humanitarian aid And honestly a mega ship at clashton has violated a hypocratic oath so there's a also a lawsuit on that
You can use any ship you like. However, it helps if it is fast. Frontier has a ship in the "prebuilt-ships" section called a AX Rescue Pre-built, that is a Python Mk I that should serve you well if you want to get er done starting now.
Wish I could help out but my game has been screwed since the update a couple days ago. Weird stuttering then crashes from unhandled exceptions. Already ran DISM and sfc commands in powershell nothing wrong with my pc and my other online games work just fine no idea whats going on.
Picking up wanted passengers will definitely get you in trouble! Your ship will get a bounty on it! When you get back to Sol, you will be attacked. I was attacked on my way out of Sol on the next run. I hadn’t even noticed that there was a bounty on me. It’s tough enough to make it through the blockade without having to be attacked on your way!
so i filled up the cabins, hit launch, got to exit of station, scanned, wanted, illegal passengers on board, got merked before i could leave, no shields/weapons lol. 2nd run the goids got me
To the right of the accept button, click the book to make sure the mission doesn't have wanted passengers! I'm in a beluga so the goids almost get me every time too
The narrative execution of this event is crazy. The pilots ship gets destroyed because of illegal passengers on a RESCUE job 😆 When you just stop to think. That's crazy. Everyone dies 😆
I'm flying on vanilla 'Conda with lots of shields, and judging from my first trip - she's more than enough. Thargoids barely did 1% of damage before I jumped away. I don't care about those upgrades, searching for materials is too boring, and frankly I'm fine with playing ED the same way I played it 10 years ago.
It could be, but if you can't get a landing pad for hours because all missions are going to a single rescue ship, it would defeat the purpose. Besides, who would shoot down a space ambulance? No defense against other pilots. o7 Commander!

It's too late. Watching system chatter, there are so many new/ unprepared people that decided to included themselves at the last minute. Wasting everyones time with 'what build should I use, how do I AX'. Like seriously, we've been doing this for 7 years with tools galore all over the internet and all people are doing is wasting time chasing unreliable signals. We are going to lose this week. Unless you intend to STFU and work on succeeding this week, GTFO of SOL or at least STFU so we can 'try' to succeed this week. Week is already 1/2 over, and the weekend should be our chance to focus on the most efficient effort which is evac. If you want to fight thargoids, take the missions and go fight around MAIA. @ruorick yes. Signal sources are kinda sparse in an alert system. The bigger Goids spawn near the planet Titan next to the oribital Titan City.

I would ditch the caustic sink and PDT and run 2 heat sinks and 2 ECMs.

How do you removing being wanted for taking illegal passengers? I did 1 run, went back to the pick up station and they killed me
You need to visit an Interstellar Factor. Use inara.cz website to look up systems near you that can remove bounties etc.
Use inara.cz to find an Interstellar Factor near you to remove any fines or bounties.
Pay the fine trough interstellar factors and don't take missions with a skull.
I use a shield on this ...and i only have guardian FSD. how do I unlock the other guardian stuff?
That's a very intricate question Commander. Just use Human stuff for now as Guardian Tech takes a bit of time to gather.

What is this relation between available power and speed you mentionend? Never heard of it.
@@valorin5762 When you want full speed on the Python Mk II it runs best at 4 pips to engines. I just assumed it is similar for the Type-8.

Can't escape a Scythe very well in a Conda. I did a live stream killing the Scythe in a Conda yesterday. That was fun.
