I posted in the discord my 2 failures yesterday in my T8. Today however, I loaded every passenger I could get into (couldn't fill it as several of the groups would not board due to my low reputation) it and off I went. I was interdicted, but boosting as soon as I came out of hyperspace, opening up my hardpoints weaving and bobbing, around until my FSD came back online, and jetting out of there, I made about 4M CR, needed few repairs, and gained reputation, influence, and a few commodities. Now I wish I could find something to kill with my Krait II pre-built (I did manage to get a few bounties with the T8, which was rather funny to me).
Great video, T8 was fantastic for the job. Insta-subbed to your cause & channel. Been hauling litterally ass for hours on end. But Sir, where does one check the progress? All the best. Oh-seven, CMDR Willy-Nilly.
If you go to the Galaxy map, on the left hand-side, select the Thargoid view. Navigate to SOL on the map and on the right, the win and loss conditions will be present. It clearly says that a win condition will avoid an invasion, and a failure will result in an invasion. There is also a handy-dandy progress bar for a clear visual of where Humanity stands. We still have time commander! o7
@@battlevortex Been playing since release, but never looked into any Thargoid-related stuff and all the 'new' map features. Thank you! But the red line is now crossed - the bugs can't waltz around in Sol all willy-nilly! That's our job!
I was given this game for free by Amazon a few days ago, and bought Odyssey because it ran so well on my odd PC. I'm pleased to report that Odyssey hits 60 fps most of the time, too, so I'm making my way to Sol in a Something-mk-IV...
@@battlevortex Not sure we can stop the Titan, but we can at least do our best for the rest of the System. I'm running Orca Evac with G5 Dirty Drives when flying alone, and when in a Wing, I grab a Krait with ModShards.
@@da_enderdragon An update from Galnet came out at the same time I was making a new video about the win conditions. All available rescue ships are inbound to SOL to give pilots more choices as to where they can unload refugees! It's going to be an exciting week!
I got the pre built python and it works great. Made over 200 million so far rescuing humans. The Thargoids are easy to evade once you get the hang of it. Does anyone know who the supership is killing rescue ships in V866 Centauri when you are about halfway to the Cornwallis? Don't have that problem in solo play so it must be a smart ass ganking people. Good luck all.
I'm scared of those things, way long ago I was once interdited by a small thargoid and I felt there was nothing I could do am I going to get blown up just by approaching sol ?
@@danield.r.5039 that’s an interesting question. I have to tell you there is a chance of you getting attacked approaching Sol. However, if you do nothing, then the chance will be increased greatly once the invasion begins.

Glad to have you Commander! o7
All I use for rescue missions is a highly engineered orca. Top speed unboosted 507 and boosts to 641. She rips and stays cold
@@lolmate2224 excellent job commander!
I haven’t been using ECMs, though I have them ready. My boost is generally enough to handle the Hunters.
Keep on saving SOuLs commander! o7

It's definitely some shenanigans. Just stay in Solo commander, we are on the clock if we want to stop this thing from happening.
