You seem like a very nice guy. I am happy that you got sober, be proud, keep going. If you can pull yourself out of an opioid addiction you can do pretty much anything.
That being said, you will get into situations where your strenght will be testet again and i wish you all the best that you stay strong in these situations.

Been sober 15 years....Been clean 14 years....I'm glad you got sober, but you better find a new plan Brah, your setting yourself up for failure big time....that's called bing drinking by the way...get your ass to an AA meeting. Then LISTEN to those who ARE doing it. Good luck Brah, but I've been to a lot of funerals of people who thought they could go it alone. Don't know you, not judging you...just telling you my experience. FYI...it's a 'thinking' problem' that's why we support each other. We trust others to point out when out 'thinking problem' starts to show up. We can correct the issue AGAIN and continue on, w/o having to drink the 12 pack. (not normal Brah, at all) Just check it out...AA is Free. NA is free=no cost, you don't even have to talk, just go listen to the stories of the old timers. You'll be amazed. Good luck Brah...I wish you nothing but success. Knees in the Dirt, nose in The Book!! Maranatha!!!

People in AA rarely hold each other accountable.
