    A fantastic drill. Aimee you are a wonderful coach who takes the time to explain things clearly. I don’t know how I found your videos, but I’m thrilled that I did.

    I’ll practice this drill as I learned to be dominant with my left hand and as a result I often slice my drive. I liked the slow motion of the swing at the end of your video. It helps for your message to be learned. Also I like your use of the cardboard driver face. Thank you again. I hope my drive gets Aimeefied!

    Spot analysis and thoughtful guidance…I have this very issue and this is also the endemic issue I face! First time someone has analyzed it properly. Thanks so much!

    A a dominant left , right handed golfer I think this might finally explain why I only slice the driver nothing else, Can’t wait to try this in the range!

    Ok. I just tried this tip on the range and it worked at eliminating (or at least mitigating) my driver slice. I’ve watched Rick Sheils, Peter Finch, Ali Taylor, Mr Short Game and many other gold instruction videos on eliminating the driver slice - but Aimee’s tips worked the best. Highly recommend it.

    I used this to show my wife the finish position... when she used two hands the swing was all arms and stopped short of extension and finish, but with using just the trail arm swing, the momentum pulls you right around. Playing tomorrow, so I'll take practice swings one handed to try and get the in-to-out feel in my trail hand. Nice tip Aimee, thanks!

    The reason we wear a glove on the lead hand is because it is your 'power hand', hence you need extra grip. But your point is well made, you need to find a balance between the lead and trail hands. I love your Aimeefied instruction! :)

    Great Tip, I always thought my left side was weak. Ben Hogan once said he wished he had two right sides. Now I know why he said that.

    Thank you Aimee for a great lesson , it is still not clear to me how to combine / operate the two hands together. it will be great if you could explain it.

    slowly understanding this. difficult at first to learn that i can control the club face orientation with my right HAND, not arms, still keep the arms relaxed during the swing, and swing using legs-hips-core. During the swing if my focus goes to my HAND, i forget about the legs-hips-core and start swinging with my arms again -- i noticed this & that i got out of sequence, arms first. Still practicing that drill. thanks aimee!

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mel! I totally understand what you mean. Once you get either your body or your hands going correctly, you will stay in sequence. You’ll be able to focus on your arms and everything else will still stay in sync.
      Sounds like you’re doing great!
      Let me know how things go.
      Mahalo🤙

    Hi Aimee. Do you mean that you start the swing in 100: 0 and with impact you change in 50:50. Or am I wrong?

    • @GolfWithAimee
      @GolfWithAimee  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! If you have a tendency to have too much pressure in the lead arm, you want to exaggerate 100:0, 100 on your trail hand. This exaggeration will help you to get 50:50 going. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers!

    interesting take on left and right... would you agree that the role of the right hand is to steer the swing, not to power it?

  • @joemarshall3769

    Started this about 6 months ago. Also used a stronger grip and have straighted my drive out and go farther. I know there is a sit move b4 the down swing. I felt it before but not incorporating it into my swing. How do u that and "push off against the ground"?

    My problem is when I bring my club down from back swing , on bringing it down my club moves forward making an over the top shot , for some reason I just can’t keep it on plain . Talk about frustration
