Aimee , thanks to you I can hit my driver again. Your driver takeaway lesson is 100% spot on . I’m so thrilled 😍im 60 years old and I hit 237 yards dead center today all because of you Thank you and my God bless you, Gregory E
I just want to say that you are the very first channel I watched five months ago to learn how to improve at golf. You taught me proper grip, posture, swing and ball position. I just wanted to thank you for helping me get started on better golf. You are definitely a key person in why I broke 100 a month ago.
Best takeaway video ever. Aimeefied to a tee. Or, in this case, a tennis ball!! Any item of comparable size and weight will suffice. No drill is simpler than this one piece wonder of a movement.
Aimeefied! … great tip In my very first golf lesson, this is the one thing my instructor told me … “Take the club back slowly as low as you can for as long as you can”. I still remember this advice.
I have shaved 10-15 strokes off my game the past month or so by re watching all of Aimee's Driver tips. You make it so simple it seems Aimee. Lately I only focus on remembering 3 things during my swing and I have been hitting 75% of my fairways. I have won 3 out of my 6 tournaments since May thanks to your tips. Love ya!
Hi Aimee, great great video. Thanks. Yes, I have come again and again to the conclusion that taking nice extended straight back the driver produced much better outcome than to feel or try to do the arc..Thanks again.
You should do better research before jumping to a conclusion of "best explanation I've seen." Go check out cogornogolf or Clay Ballard from Top Speed Golf. TH-cam search either of those 2 guys for longer drive shots, and I guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Before taking a tee shot I look for a discarded tee that's a foot or so behind the markers. Then I place my tee peg a foot in front of it, so that the two form a straight line down the fairway.Just swing the club back over the discarded tee and this will get your takeaway started properly every time. All within the rules.
Wondering why not start turning hips and shoulders together as described for the iron or start taking away for driver by this method is better and more efficient. Having tried but feel using hand too much. Pls explain a bit more. Thanks.
The message was good, but I think the video title "Want to hit your driver longer and straighter" was a poor description. Hitting balls longer, I'd expect to see coaching on more shoulder depth in the back-swing, or wider separation in the feet, or full hip rotation and clearing the hips in the down-swing, and even talking about releasing the club in front of the ball. Am I wrong? Because those are all key contributing factors to hitting the ball longer.

@@jacobbelmontes4899 I do watch Clay but I’ve not seen this ball practice method plus he does have a little sales flavour.
Wow! What a great teaching tip.
I've been taking it too inside.
I'll try it out tomorrow.

What r we going to use (left shoulder or back of left hand) to push back of club head straight back?

Love it
Ty!!!
