*Bandai Namco and From Software took me out to LA just to play Armored Core 6! (and pilot an irl mech) Worth it? YUUP!*
*UPDATE: My video on making "Overpowered" early-game mechs is out! -BoomstickAlex* th-cam.com/video/Of8b8IoSoV4/w-d-xo.html
So whats the PvP looking like? Did u get any sense of Arena Replay-ability?
They Flew you out like an Instagram Side chick
May I request to use your video and audio footage explaining the weapons here for a series of Tiktoks? I'd give you credit for the footage and link to your channel. Also, are there no weapon arms?
hmm What kind of name & AC you’re going to choose for Armored core 6? if players want to challenge you in the arena.
@@ryuuotaku35 "Grim Reaper" or "Black Steel King" I will mainly be using An Energy Sword and Assault Rifle on a bipedal speed focused AC
This will be my first Armor Core and definitely hyped with it looking like a modern mech game that I always wanted
Welcome to the AC world!!! This will be my third, I believe. Trust me, the game gets hard if history proves itself, and it's also a fromsoft game, haha.
@@robertarrowood3651 This one will be a bit different as far as difficulty is concerned, focused more on bosses and less on the debt issue. Rewards are massive, I don't think you can get negative money anymore.
At the same time, bosses are focused around telegraphed attacks rather than "Don't be around the front of this giant thing or you die." So there's some give and take between the two, but yes, it should get VERY challenging in places.
@MirageRebellion I think the debt should be an option to have for veteran players. I think it should be a setting we can turn off or on when a new game starts.
@@robertarrowood3651 Interview with director mentioned possibly bringing it back, so time will tell. Debt was never that big of a mechanic anyways, since you generally got a decent bank roll pretty swiftly, but if they can manage to make it a mechanic throughout the entire game for specific types of challenge runs, I'd be here for it.
@MirageRebellion it was a big part in the game. If you got too far in debt, your game reset, and you would get a permanent boost or upgrade to your AC. And I think you could get up to 6 or 8 permanent upgrades to your game.
Evrey time i watch another video on this game my hype mulltiplies it self. I genuinely can not wait to play this game
same here
Gatling Guns...Here I come Heavy Arms Custom. Props on showing us all of the preview weapons too. No other videos I've seen goes into the weapons list.
Great to see that Bandai Namco invited you to the hands-on event. I value your opinion and since I'm on the fence, this was an appreciated insight.
Go listen to SkillUp opinion. So you can get another angle
@@VAL3NTIN3 I did, thanks. Different but valuable take.
I can safely say this was the best video out of the previews. Excellent work
Hey thanks!
Just got the game this helps a lot just breaking down the details.
Also the pistol looks op. Seems to stagger really quickly.
You have no idea how many newcomers you accidentally confused by calling leg types 'classes'
Now there are a bunch of guys who think there are four distinct full-on RPG style classes rather than just leg options
They do function as the mech classes. No other part comes even close to drastically altering gameplay and available mechanics as much as legs do.
Wow, the ACV weapon bays and Overweight is an OS now, crazy. Like how they incorporated a lot of the ACV weapons in general, like the plasma rifle charged shot being the plasma cannon of that game's default shot.
The lazer rifles were my favorite weapons in V, so I'm glad they've made a spiritual comeback.
Pulse Gun looks like the kinda mid ranging, rapid firing, snail owning, defense routing, pineapple residing, high spreading, non-boat license having weapon that I was destined to main within my 1st playthough; of that, I’m sure.
I’m also sure that all bubble blowing babies will be beaten senseless by every able-bodied Pilot on Rubicon 3.
Lmao amazing reference
Pineapple residing?
@@hanayuna4SpongeBob?
@@hanayuna4 Spongebob lives in a pineapple and blows bubbles
I hope we meet in pvp, mine's gunna be pink with green pants duelweilding these things but maybe the giant one the enemy ac has will be one of them.
The stats for these damage/rate of fire are 50% stronger than gatling guns so not really meming
This is by FAR the best AC6 video I've seen so far! Thank you so much!
I'm just like, I know I'm gonna like the gameplay, I just want to know the technicalities, and parts! Beautiful work my friend!
Good Job Boomstick, You make us all Proud 😎👍
Its crazy because not 6 months ago i didnt even know Armored Core existed. Now its one of my most anticipated games coming this year. I cannot wait to get my hands on this game.
From all videos I saw across the web for this game, this one is the best; No silly jokes, everything is explained correclty and engaging, thanks for this!!
Great look into the game's mechanics. Thanks a lot for this video. Watching it makes me feel like I'm already holding the controller.
This one of the best Armored Core 6 preview videos available. I have watched it over and over and over again. A nice comprehensive and concise overview of the delicious AC bits FromSoft has shown so far.
I've even got a build idea going based off this. Laser/pulse blade, energy shotgun and laser cannon on the lightest weight core that can support these along with whatever weight missle launcher fits with whatever load capacity I have left.
I'm glad i found this video so i can get a basic idea of what to expect as a new player to armored core
I truly appreciate videos like this. Straight to the point, giving out basic information on weapon archetypes… very insightful content.😮
Awesome stuff, Boomstick. Half the fun of the preview videos has been seeing what kind of gear everyone is using, so it was great to see this nice, succinct breakdown of weapons and other equipment.
Thanks to this video, I'm already starting to put together a few different builds in my head like a snappy, high-speed reverse-jointed legs with a linear rifle, sword, and shoulder launchers. August 25 cannot get here fast enough.
Shed the shoulders, go with a lighter mech.
The weapons all look extremely satisfying and diverse. And these are only a small portion of them too, from the screenshots we've seen of some of the later options. Excellent preview!
Wait, there's more than showed in this video?
@@hklrzki4618Yes
@@hklrzki4618 Yeah! I'm not sure why they were locked out of the demo, but there's way more parts than what was shown off here. The official gameplay preview showed off a ton of parts they didn't have access to such as the legs used for the latter half. And I remember quantifying the various missile launchers in screenshots that included things like: missiles that linger in the air before propelling forward so you can singlehandedly surround your opponent, missiles that bore through armor before detonating so they ignore defensive stats, missiles with extra rocket fuel that keep flying around if they miss to try over and over again to strike their intended target, and so on. There's also weapons like flamethrowers, chainsaws, stun batons, laser whips, laser lances, and more that we've seen other mechs use.
This is probably going to be the deepest Armored Core ever!
@@Stammer6 I also hear that there will be parts that can be found during missions, there will be an arena mode (which can possibly reward parts), and I hope (but it is not confirmed) that defeating certain enemies will reward parts, such as hidden ACs and bosses.
@@Stammer6 I knew there was more weapons than in the demo, and I had kinda already accepted it wouldn't be a thing, but seeing what all of them were, really holding out hope that I can get something at least similar to the giant scissors that gundam gusion rebake has
I just realize there is detailed gas piston and round feed/eject animation on the assault rife after watching this in 4K, the amount of detail they put into the mech is unbelievable.
Love how in depth this video was!
The most detailed information I've seen, thanks, I can't wait to get back into the series after about 14 years since foranser
Thanks for the detailed content Boomstick!! Super hyped for this game!!
DUDE top notch vid! i love it! thank you for the details
The crazy part is the fights are so cinematic, the atmosphere is just absolutely gorgeous, and the combat mechanics look so dam good and crisp!
I'm now even more hyped than I already was! Thanks for this video. Now I have a rough idea of the build I'll be testing first. Pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition and cannot wait to pilot on launch day.
I've basically seen everything related to the new ACVI info flood by now, and this video is defo the best source of new info by a mile. You've gained a fan from me, can't wait to see your content when the game drops!
Fantastic video. Thanks for all the detailed explanations. And your blue mech looks dope too
Quick, concise and straight to the point! Excellent guide with no bearing around the bush
This is the only breakdown of garage items ive seen, good job!
Great video! I can't wait to see the builds people come up with.
this was an excellent guide, well done!
Thank you for the concise breakdown of starting gear. Youve definitely earned my sub, and i cant wait for tomorrow
Thank you for showing the OS Tuning abilities in detail. I watched many youtube videos of this game and you're the only one who showed all those options.
The thinking man’s franchise, I love it.
You make the game look good. Awesome to see an actually great pilot in the seat. Your skill is definitely above the others. Vaati isn't bad, but your aggression and timing is excellent.
By far the most in-depth preview I've seen thus far.
This looks pretty Cool !
The only AC6 gameplay video worth watching. Fantastic work!
I learned more from this 3 week old video than the entire NB presentation they had on the 18th.
Amazing job braking all this down for us 👍
Ohhh! System, parameters and showcase of weapons . It's really really helpful. Thanks a lot!
Really appreciate the showing of all the weapons you got to use. Twin bazookas all the way baby gotta love that stagger
Very nice explanation!
makes me want to play AC 6 when its launched. great video!
I'm definitely planning on the Linear Rifle as my main right hand weapon with an energy blade as my left hand on a reverse joint mech type. Not sure what shoulder weapons to go for just yet.
Awesome video 🎉
Best guide ever. Ty
Thx for the video
Best weapon breakdown yet.
So freaken hyped! Been so long since I've played AC ever since the Playstation 1 era.
Great video! Both for newcomers and veterans
We like this series my friend, don't stop it XD
Thank you for doing this guide for newcomers!
Thanks for confirming the perfect block mechanic. I'd seen speculation on that since the very first gameplay reveal but no talk about it since the comic con demos.
Really appreciate the details. Definitely esrned the like.
Really happy with the video you put together here, the breakdown of those early weapon options is detailed and a treat to see. My god the animations on weapons are really great work. That being said, I can't help but feel you are trolling us by calling missiles rockets repeatedly. (Especially considering actual Rockets are a weapon type almost sure to show up in game.)
Awesome Video
ty!
The choices of weapons and armors in this game is just dope.
Can't wait to get it on Friday
to me nothing is more Gundam/Mecha then a bipedal mech, just something iconic about it
Can't wait to make a completely jacked and loaded up max weight tank build that has all of the damage, and then also make an extremely lightweight agile build that literally only has two pistols and its only job is to fly really damn fast
Thanks for the video, I never really played Armored Core. Side note, Terminal Armor for PvP.
Oh the ideas for a self cover firing missile launching are coming to mind
This is the best video I've seen so far regarding AC...very informative... especially for me, being it my first time playing AC....never been a fan of the From software souls games... to slow paced for me... but fingers crossed, this is good
Im definitely getting this game hs it looks awesome 👍
It looks soooooo goood!!!!!! 😭 soon 🙏
I’ve never played armored core before, I’ve seen it for sure after watching this I may have to see if it’s worth playing
This video is a gold mine for Ravens!
Already preordered it online finally a mech game its been a while😆
Alteisen build:
R Gatling gun.
L Pile bunker
SR+SL: Missile launcher.
I will paint it red and white XD
cannot wait when this is released.
Super robot wars reference right?
@@pon9670 always been. also if there is a knuckle weapon we can prob make R1 build with those double revolver.
Heck, it's confirm on the trailer there will be a whip like weapon, so prob we can also build R2 XD
3:30 AP stands for Armor Points. As the name suggests, defensive performance refers to defense.
less than a month! Cant wait to Play!
This will be my 1st armored core i think i played the one on ps1 but dont remember it after elden ring i played the entire souls series fromsoft has my confidence and respect
Upgrading your generator early reminds me of putting points into vitality in the souls games. I know it's not quite the same, and I might be talking nonsense as I haven't played yet, but I imagine with more energy you can expand your mech to power anything.
I was going to play Atlas Fallen; now I'm hooked on this.
Atlas looks cool too and comes out 15 days ahead of this. Play both!
I needed this so bad 😫 my first armored core...
Do you get to check out any multiplayer? I loved how the old game didn't hold your hand but also allowed the freedom to build any mech you wanted.
I appreciate most of the core mechanics being similar to the previous games, it’ll make it easier to get back into the groove of things, though I’m kind of sad that back weapons didn’t make a comeback. I was looking forward to equipping four gatling guns at the same time
Who says there will be no back weapons? A back mounted laser cannon was showcased here, there must be others as well. I am sure the iconic shoulder mounted grenade cannon will be present and I'd be surprised if there wasn't a shoulder version of the gattling cannon as well. Like in previous games there will likely be a lot of overlap between shoulder and arm weapons with the former being larger, heavier and more powerful versions of the latter.
This is just the first 1/5th of the game and I'm sure there is far more customization as we go. Hell this probably isn't everything in the first chapter cause they might have been limiting what is there
@thecyanpanda241
Oh absolutely! I am positive what has been shown is only a fraction of what is available in even the first chapter.
The Laser Pistol looks really cool.
What I'm most excited for is AC6's take on Karasawa energy gun
For newcomers: You DO NOT need to have played previous AC titles in order to get into this one.
Similar to Final Fantasy series, each one has an independent story that only mentions some elements from other games as references.
All this in just the first chapter. Leaves me wondering what they left for the rest of the chapters.
As a long time veteran and lover of the Armored Core series im incredibly excited to see the franchise back and looking this good. Alittle worried they might have ruined the pvp with the hardlock capability though. Just gotta wait and see.
Nice information, im kinda overwhelmed In a good way, haha. Is there any information regarding couch/splitscreen versus mode?
Cant wait being a vet, i missed the 4th gen as life was messed up for me back then but watching this it reminds me of a cross between gens 4 n 5 in terms of speed which im hoping ill enjoy
Probably will go with a high mobility build that focuses around mid-to-close range combat using either the pistols or shotguns, a back-up pilebunker, and naturally a missile pod. As for legs, hard to say what to do with between the lightweight bipedal or reverse joint.
Havent played armored core since ps1, so technically 6 will be my first!
The assault boost thing reminds me of DBZ games. Hyped!
So are the quad legs pretty much for lightweight use only or are there any variations like in For Answer where it can be a heavy cannon craft?
Oooh i so want to try this. The last AC that i played was Master of Arena. 🤣🤣
very informative video man, thank you. now i really cant wait for the game. if u can dual wield a gun, can we dual wield a melee wpn?
Melee only on left arm. :(
This game looks good I miss playing robot games the robot game I played long time ago was Zone Enders I think it was on ps2 now I’m hype for this one I’m getting this game on GPD WIN 4 on Steam can’t wait I’m also excited for Starfield
Gonna rock Shotgun and Linear Rifle 😎🔥
By the power of Grayskull! It’s beautiful!!!
I've always been a fan of the reverse-jointed legs styling wise. Hopefully I can keep up with that required playstyle of them.
He didn't go over it, but the legs DO come in light, medium, and heavy varieties generally. The listed pros and cons of each leg type are still true within their weight class, but even a medium RJ is going to be slower than a light biped, and also more defensive than one.
@@Sojo214 thank you for that information :-)
When you say a weapon can be charged what do you mean by that? How do you charge a weapon in this game, if im holding down the button fore the arm will that begin a charge for said weapon or do I have to hit another button and if it does charge then am I just mashing those triggers to fire the weapons regularly?
Do they still have back weapons that bi-legs have to stand still for in order fire? If they do, can the quad-legs still use those while moving?
This is a great informative video. Thank you for making this!
This will be my first armored core and I am makin a comik of armored core
