Had this happened, there would have been fairer boundaries and a lot of suffering could have been avoided. If the proportions of nationalities had been taken into account after the First World War, there would not have been such tension and hatred between Hungary and its neighbors.

Thing is: "Magyar" is an endonym used for the Hungarian nation specifically. Even in foreign languages like In Slovakian, Magyarsko is post-trianon Hungary and Uhorsko is pre-trianon(heavyly multiethnic) Hungary. In that sense you're using the 2 terms the wrong way. But anyway, bravo, good job.

There wouldn't be nationalist revolts át the start of the 20th century, because only 15-20% wouldn't be Hungarian. And under the communist and nationalist regimes, that number would become even lower making the country about 90% Hungarian. Modernisation would also bring a faster growing population. On the final map, there are 10,7 million Hungarians. In our reality, this number is about 11,2 million. This makes no sense
