why does this thing have just 313 views? one of the most high quality videos i’ve seen to date. *especially* respect you putting breakaways, conflicts and unofficial states on the map. this needs 313 million views instead
I cannot imagine how much effort went into this, your channel is criminally underrated. I love how you also showed all the modern civil wars and how the world map isn’t actually as stable as most people think. But I do think it might be worth making an alternative version with the countries labeled on the map itself, I did have a pretty hard time figuring out the names of the ancient civilizations, and after a certain point I just gave up. The map does look cleaner without labels, but it also makes it a lot harder to understand.
Dude this is incredible. I remember first watching Ollie bye's history of the world 7 years ago but I am so glad that now someone else has made a video on this topic. I can't even imagine the amount of time and effort this must have taken. Bravo!
Five years in the making paid off. Impressive, all there logically is to say is that your works are definitely very high quality and very appealing to the eye and very rewatchable.

I’ve watched this like 5x already. The attention to detail is insane, I like how you showed North American colonies were claimed before they were actually conquered. I also liked how you showed conflicts where the invaders only control the roads/rail, like in Manchuria and Afghanistan.

I love how it has a leaderboard like thing (Edit, after watching the video, I have to say this is amazing. I love all the detail that has been put into this especially the de facto at the end. I can say that this is better than the very popular history of the world by Ollie bye. Good job!, also when I saw this it only had 300/500 views lol)
holy shit this is SO much better, like INFINITELY better than that one really popular one by geography and space, the details are off the fucking charts, the borders actually look genuinely accurate AAAA OH MY GOD ITS SO GOOD
It's also crazy to me that the population of the world during the start of the civilization in Middle East was roughly the same as my country (around 40 million).
Amazing detail and quality. Seems very accurate, congrats on the masterpiece you just made!!! Hopefully, this gets more views than 71k as it deserves millions just by the work you have put into this.
For most part of human history, the American continent was dominated for civilizations in Mexico and Peru. Peruvians and Mexicans, feel proud of your cultural heritage, in the past, your territories gave birth to regional superpowers.
Firstly I want to say this is an amazing video and I can tell that you put tons of work into it!. I did want to know however, what criteria did you use for a civilization? I know some people say writing systems but I see that you included the illiterate Andean civilizations but I see you didn't include people like the Nok of West Africa or the Sao civilization of Lake Chad region. Or the kingdoms of the Niger delta like Igodomigodo (precursor to the Benin Kingdom). Sub-Saharan Africa in general is just lacking alot. As always in videos like these. I think alot of mappers primarily rely on Wikipedia which is horribly lacking and usually quite inaccurate with proper representation of African civilizations. Even in the middle ages I'm seeing alot of missing places like the kingdom of Bonoman is absent. Regardless though, you've put much more effort than I usually see. So yeah just curious what criteria you used to determine which people are shown. Thanks! Not trying to be a hater. I can tell alot of work went into this but it just seems like very few people put equal effort into Africa south of the Sahara. The key at the bottom for example seems to be almost entirely Eurasian and North African civilizations.
I Kinda want to explore the Arabian Desert now. Edit: I commend you and your team's work. This is the most accurate map of the world I've seen so far and proves that it took a very long time to commit towards. Everything, and I mean everything, is so accurately detailed. It's almost like I saw every shifting geopolitical conflict in recorded human history playing in real time. I had to stop at over thirty marks throughout the video noting to myself how a land demarcation changed due to an insurgency, rebellion, civil war, succession crisis, secession, annexation, etc. Seriously man, keep it up. You did an amazing job!
There should be global project to map the timeline on a website. Like you can set what year and what speed of progress you wanna see and when you pause and hover cursor into one of the map. There should be basic information about the following nation and what that nation currently doing at that time... Its basically just like how timeline view on Europa Universalis IV but more detailed.

Incredible video! Congratulations! The territory of Louisiana was Spanish between 1763 with the Treaty of Paris and 1800, when it was ceded to France by the Treaty of San Ildefonso. It is easily verifiable.
