Update: I remember now why I normally have my notebook in my left hand and hold the movie in my right hand, it’s what prevents from flailing my hands around when I get too excited. I’ll try to keep my hand gestures to a minimum on the next one. Thank you for watching.
eight men out is a great one. kind of overlooked. some cool stuff. didnt really care for bernie or the majestic. rodney doc is fantastic. chris carter from one of my favorite bands Dramarama produced that.
@@WilkysMoviesandMusic yes, for sure Corey, if you’re a fan of rock music you will likely enjoy Mayor. Rodney Bingenheimer’s life has been extraordinary, bands would leave him their demos and he would pick a song he liked and play them on the radio. Some bands that became huge got discovered because of Rodney and he has a star on the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. I know that I saw it once on TH-cam for free and Google says that it’s on Roku TV.
I appreciate the kinds of movies like Mayor of Sunset, I'll try to track it down. I just watched Cadillac Records (a story of Chess Records founder) and a movie called Spinning Gold (the story of Casablanca Records). They honestly weren't great movies by any means, but the personalities behind the music/music business is always interesting!
@@MrJDNJ yes, I was disappointed that Spinning Gold didn’t have a more footage KISS since they helped to keep Casablanca from going under with KISS Alive. I’ve never seen Cadillac Records, but I’m intrigued. Mayor of the Sunset Strip had a poor quality version on TH-cam for free at one time and I will check right now to see if it’s still available.

@@STEVEHEROLD yep, that’s an excellent documentary and Chris Carter owes a life debt to Rodney, their brief feud in the documentary was hilarious.
