@STEVEHEROLD yes, I don’t you’ve heard how strict Hitchcock was when Psycho premiered in 1960, he said that no one was permitted into the theater after the movie had started and he asked people not to spoil the movie after they exited the theater.
I will say that over recent years the order of my top 3 has changed several times. At different times Psycho, Frenzy, and Rear Window have each been my favourite. I hope that helps show the love i have for them.

Weirdly I actually saw Psycho 2 before the original, just because of tv scheduling in the 80s in the UK. I got into horror when i was 5, when i was 6 or 7 we watched and taped Psycho 2 which begins with a recap of the shower scene. I think it was about 6 months later the original was finally on tv. All the same i consider myself lucky to have grpwn up with Psycho 2, as a kid i watched it maybe once every few months (unlike Halloween 3 and Omen 2 which i watched a few times a week) Psycho 2 now has a cult following, a bit like Halloween 3, and i got to appreciate both of them as a 6 and 7 year old in the 80s.
