    Very satisfying seeing that roof mould peel up
    So easily. All set to see more carbon Kevlar goodness appear on Novi. Great episode and now chomping are the bit to see the next one 👍🏻

    Great job, If you keep lightening it, it will fly away, the power weight ratio will be amazing :)

    Looking good 😎
    This is the first thing I made for my car
    My philosophy was if I can make this I can make all the other panels
    I should have done the doors first they were the hardest 😂

    • @RuskiWeldFab
      @RuskiWeldFab  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yes maybe should have started with smaller parts first lol

    3:01 does that roof channel strip just pop off or did you slide it to the rear of the car to remove it? This is going to be the lightest and fastest Clio in the country :)

    • @RuskiWeldFab
      @RuskiWeldFab  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yeah they just slide out from the back. need a bit of force to get them going tho. lightest probably not. But i am defo working on the fastest bit haha

    Looking to do similar on my car panels. The bags you use are they from easy composite as you wet lay then just vacuum them instead of resin infusion setup? Thanks

    • @RuskiWeldFab
      @RuskiWeldFab  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they are. just wet lay than bag it and leave it for 18h.

    hello!
    I plan to make a carbon fiber roof for a friend next week and I was wandering what kind of resin are you using to make the mould? I usually use the Uni-Mould one from easycomposites that is yellow.
    Thanks in advance.

    • @RuskiWeldFab
      @RuskiWeldFab  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      i used cheapest resin i could find from Mould craft. it was very large area and uni-mould as amazing as it is, not cheap.

      @@RuskiWeldFab thats good to know thanks for the fast response.
      One more question, was it a mould making resin or just a normal laminating one?

    • @RuskiWeldFab
      @RuskiWeldFab  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it was a mould making kit

    Hello! Great video and channel! I did like to know if is there a way to calculate the right number of carbon foils to ensure a right strenght according to a definite weight of charge in axial direction. Any tools, excel page or something like this that could return the right value? Thank you!
