ICE Fishing STACKED Bluegills!

- Today Sydnee and I hit the lake to catch some bluegills. We started by locating some fish then setting up the shack. We were in 11' of water in a big basin near a weed edge. The bluegills were stacked in there and we seen some crappie and pike. We jigged for a few hours and made some delicious burgers!

Great video. People don't understand the work it takes to combine the different video sources with audio overlayed. You do a good job and it makes for an entertaining video.

We reached a temp of -28 early Saturday morning in Hayward and I was out fishing with nothing but a couple cans of “canned heat” in my $40 Facebook marketplace shanty with multiple rips and holes in it lol It was brutal outside pretty sure that’s the coldest actual air temperature I’ve ever been outdoors in

I use widow maker tungsten jigs. Real nice. The paint chips easily but I just re-paint them using nail polish

Oh man the livescope hasn’t put me on any new fish just help pinpoint the ones that I know are there. But I’ll keep using it!
What live scope did you use? I looked into em at one point and was completely overwhelmed with how many options and stuff you could get them configured in

Curious how many holes can you drill with the ole Dewalt on one battery?
Depends how thick the ice is I've never counted but I'd say around 20 with 10" of ice

@@Wisconsin_Fisherman How's it working for you? We didn't go that route. We went with a 2Xs D battery fan / light combo hanger seeing we're more 2nd shift and fish into night. I like your pop-up, but ours is better. 90" X 90" floor and 78"ish height. Called the "Nordic Legend Aurora Classic". Getting either the double hub or lodge next season for overnighters. Look them up, REALLY nice. HUGE doors.

Since I moved away from northern Wis, I only get fresh gills and crappies once a year now when we do our annual fishing trip. So it's KILLING me to see all those eaters go back in the hole!

@@Wisconsin_Fisherman We're not that far from you. Springstead area, east of Park Falls, by the Turtle-Flambeau flowage. The Tuscobia trail starts in Park Falls, so we'd take our sleds to Winter and back for something to do on winter weekends. Do you get out on the "big water" of the Chippewa?
