    Good video. In Hawaii, the only dirt you have is road dirt or bird droppings, but for those in colder climates know all to well the road salt challenge. It would be nice to see a video on using ONR on a heavy salted car in the midwest. We can't escape it, we just have to deal with it. And the fact when it is cold, we have few washing options. Thank you!

    Aloha from Molokai, Really digging your channel, headed over to O'ahu this afternoon to pick up my 2020 Lexus UX250h F Sport from Matson, take it to get tinted, and get it on Young Bros for the trip to Molokai. Different car but many of the same materials and maintenance processes, it was in Alaska over the winter and wasn't able to be maintained very well so it's going to need a full blown detail and paint correction, plus it will be covered in salt spray from the trip on Young Bros. Keep adding to your channel cause I enjoy your humor and your approach to car care. Aloha Nui Loa

    ONR is amazing guys! in encapsulates and emulsifies the dirt. Some Tips, you can use it in your steamer to help make it run better, you can clean your windows with it better than any glass cleaner, you can use it as a clay lube agent, and of course all through out your interior as well! It's amazing how little like a half ounce in a bottle can get you! And it smells amazing too!

    Great video, it was nice to see all three methods demo'd on one video. ONR and Bead Maker ate a killer combo. I have recently taken to TRC Ultra Black Sponge for both rinless and full contact washes, I like Auto fibers. 16 x 16 Dreadnought drying towels.

    • @jayz313
      @jayz313 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@HawaiiDetailing I like it better, I feel there is a little more lubrication, especially noticeable when drying with no drying aid. There chemicals are all designed by the same chemist so they are compatible, I like to use thier 10 minute paint sealant or one if thier soray waxes for a drying aid. N-914 is really great to use gir a panel wipe after compounding or polishing. With all that said, ONR is a great product, and slightly cheaper depending on the sale. Also Mckee"s products just started being sold at Advanced Auto.

    I would really like to see a rinseless wash video where the car is covered in fine mud from heavy construction dirt on road and the mess that's created when water trucks and sweepers are running all day......what most videos show is lightweight dirt.
    Downtown Toronto near waterfront is a construction nightmare.....2 trips and my paint colour is unrecognizable below the windows.
    I have to pressure wash....then pre-soak .... then pressure again ....then rinseless. This winter in going to have to go through a touchless wash when sub zero.....that thought is concerning but I'll limit those visits

    • @HawaiiDetailing
      @HawaiiDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s some tough no rinse conditions. It can be done but I would use about 12 microfiber towels in the buck and only wipe small sections and grab a new towel. The dirtier the more towels. I also would make sure that you have a really durable protection on the paint to make the dirt come off easy. Also use a high quality drying aid to keep that surface slick for the next wash. I would go for it. Let me know how it goes. Sorry I don’t have those conditions here or I would make a vid about it.

  • @alex-sd

    I like the #2 and #3 method depending on how lazy I am and using the pressure washer. I like how you use several mf towels to eliminate the chance of rubbing any dirt on the paint. The ONR is great for encapsulating dirt but why risk your paint to any dirty water. I think one of the best things about using a rinseless wash is eliminating water spots.

  • @sunilraj7692
    @sunilraj7692 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice video. I use the black soft foam sponge from the rag company. My issue with microfibres is they hold onto dirt which is a moot point as you never put the dirty rag back into the onr! The black foam has lots of cuts in it which releases the dirt as soon as you dunk it in the bucket. But the main reason l prefer the sponge is less washing of towels! Keep it up and nice pressure washer setup!

    I can wash up to 10 cars with one gallon of ONR mix! WOW! I use one gallon of distilled water, add 1/2 oz. of ONR, mix. Yes, I do a modified version of Gary Dean method. I only put clean microfibers into mix, then wipe each dirty section, then dry with clean microfiber. Depending how dirty a car is, depends how many microfibers? I can wash my car 500 times for about $20.00, WOW! HAPPY CAR CLEANING!

    If the vehicle is so dirty that you can only use a section of the towel , then you need to wash it properly. Otherwise, you can just use the one towel to wash the vehicle, until it does get too dirty to continue.
    I'll pass on the free bottle of Optimum No Rinse, as I already discovered its formula (I work at ta soap company.)
