I would like to comment the impressive professionnalism that you have demonstrated as an interviewer of this uncut video. To start with, we are looking at (at least) two generations of persons here. Come on... the muscled, tatooed all the way, attractive looking guy VS grand Pa nerdy type, technical guy (with all my respect and indeed, admiration) doing an interview... A perfect recepy for disaster! To my surprise, your level of professionnalism and respect for the inventor of the so great (yes, I wash my Tesla with this stuff and the results are amazing,,,) No rinse product was an example to follow in an '''how to do the impossible'' interview. At no time you where disrespectful to your guest, yet, you have kept your integrity and knowledge as a product user. The interaction between both of you are at the summum of informative, factual and respectful and it was very impressive to watch. I tip my hat for a job not only well done but exemplary considering the challenge of fusing a gap of generations with respect and a bit of gratitude. The best of this kind I have ever seen and I am 62 years old... Simply Wow and congrats buddy!
I decided to take a swing at the home cleaner ratio, it works fantastic, in junction with my streamer it took grime off my walls and works great on all glass. You know your getting old when your exited about using ONR everywhere you can 😂
Love the info on ONR. I’m a bigger fan of any products that are usefully functional then only one use. Being environmentally friendly is awesome as well.😊
I have hard water in my area. I add onr to my foam cannon bottle. Since the pretreatment & drill brush do most of the work, I put onr in my extractor solution tank. No more needing calcium buildup on internal parts and onr helps lift dirt being extracted. Light interior touch-up spray. Onr is really a beast!
Ha I just commented the idea I had about the foam canon bottle. Glad it works like I thought, I’ll have to try it. How much do you add to your extractor? I have a bissell pro and I was thinking a cap?
@@SlowDelSol My Mtyee Lite 8070 holds 3 gallons so I use 1/2 to 1oz per gallon. I say between that range because I've been using it for so long I can eyeball measure the amount needed LOL.

Thank you for sharing!! I started using ONR couple yrs ago as rinseless wash, and find myself using it more and more, and I am now a raving fan of ONR. This video just blows my mind even more!
This is fantastic! Im excited to add this to my detailing business! Thank you for opening the option for steam cleaner ive been tired of using descaler to remove all the deposits And with it protecting and preventative maintenance it also works as a cleaning chemical 10 fold? This is gold to a detailer! Thank you !
Thank you for sharing this great list of applications, Dr G! Because of ONR, and the rest of the Optimum line, I was able to start my own detailing business four years ago. Thanks, Justin and Autogeek for bringing Dr G out of the lab and into the spotlight!
Absolutely. 256:1. Just be careful which one you use. Carpro echo leaves protection behind, so my lino floor got a bit slippy. Others are better for that application. Also great for general house cleaning.
I mixed some ONR for my wife to use in the stainless steel and it saves her so much time. She is in love with it! She wonders where I get it and how I cam up with it 😅 Now she let's me buy more detailing products lol
I noticed that after using ONR to wash my vehicle, I use the remaining mixturw to wash the rags I used. It's amazing the rags are easier to wash because before, I never look forward to washing rags.
Curious, if it would be safe and practical to use for softening the water in an evaporative humidifier. The water up here makes the wick in the humidifier become crusty (hardened, spots within the weaves/folds look almost like it was at the bottom of the sea) within just 1 week lol...
Love Dr. G. The only non OPT products I have are my 3D compounds and polishes. Everything else is Optimum. ONR is the backbone of my process. We even use it around the house. The most versatile cleaner I've ever used.
More like 24:1 if you do 6 ounces. Gets you to 128.4 ounces, which is nearly dead on for how many ounces are in a gallon (128). I don’t need nearly that much fluid for glass cleaning, so I broke it down to 1.5 ounces to a 32 ounce sprayer.
ONR still drops dirt from suspension better than absolute. I like Absolute better overall but I still keep ONR around and use it in my 2 bucket washes to drop dirt below the grit guard
@@supremewhip I do think absolute cleans the surface better and is much slicker than ONR. What I mean is the dirt in the bucket is not floating around at all with ONR. The zwitterion charge of ONR drops all dirt in the bucket immediately to the bottom so you’re not scooping it up on the next dunk
I used to use ONR before the last revision. It’s funny that the previous versions Ivan used 256/1 for just about everything. Seems like a money grab to have all those low dilution ratios.
I use the product, and it is absolutely amazing. After dozens of washes I did not find even a small swirl on the car. But when it comes to heavy use it is a bit weak. An example of rims and wheels is really useless. as for the interior of the vehicle, there are materials that are also cheap and almost all of them do not require water, for example APC. it's just to spray on the spot, rub with a brush and wipe with a microfiber cloth. And most of them are stronger, foam and also protect the surfaces.
ONR also works good for adding to the fabric softener port in your washer. 6oz per 1 gallon. Better, safer, less expensive. Fabric softener is a nasty chemical
The inside of my toilet Cistern was black with dirt and hard water. A couple of caps of ONR at night and next morning I was gobsmacked, it was like new.
since this has polymers in it i shouldn't use it on a ceramic coated car? and since its a soap wont it break down the clay bar. you might think your saving money with a cheap clay lube but your going to spend more money on the clay. correct me if im wrong
For the majority of the world wondering the ratio and a metric dilution for the 6oz per gallon= roughly 1:21 or roughly 47ml per litre. Just round up and go 1:20 = 50ml a litre.

4:35 Can we use onr with apc? the same way we can with the shampoo backet. Why onr will fight minerals and not the shampoo or apc?

Ratio's seem high?
6 oz/1gal = everything
20:1 dilution for most cleaning tasks (quoted 6 oz per gallon which is 21.333 to 1)
More like 24:1, which comes out to be 128.4 ounces, nearly dead on for what a gallon is (128 ounces).
