Jon, Optimum No Rinse is a favorite staple for me here in the states. I've been washing cars the traditional way for 45 years, no more! ONR can be used if it's 100 degrees or 0 degrees, no more automatic or self serve car washes. I can wash my car in minutes, not hours. Only use 1/2 oz. per gallon of distilled water will wash about 10 cars, WOW! I even use ONR as a quick cleaner on the inside of my vehicles. From Bug Splatter, to Winter Salts & Road Grimes, ONR is a superior product with no scratching your cars, boats & motorcycles. I've any used on my bicycle. Thanks for your videos, always informative...
Cool product. The best part was the encouragement of self learning. I hate seeing people ask a question (on Facebook) that if they googled they would have found the answer instantly.
Congratulations on not smoking! That is a major accomplishment in itself. I have friends who cannot quit. I enjoy your videos and you’re looking better.
you are by far my favorite detail channel! glad you kicked the smoking habit. you should try and contact Joe Achilles since he is the bmw guy and do a collab. wish the best of luck to you :)
Use this at 1:16 for a car interior cleaner (advised by optimum on their forum) incredible for muddy shoes. Spray on, wait, wipe off dirt. Smells awesome too. And John your videos are incredibly helpful, unbiased and never miss the tiny details out. And your voice doesn't make me want to drink the rest of the bottle. Good work
I'm so happy on your journey of quitting smoking and doing more exercise, Jon! Hope you're still keeping well these days and stay healthy! Love your detailing videos. I'm gonna try ONR :)
John just a quick one for you - I’ve been using ONR for years and the best way I’ve found to use it to tackle bugs etc is to use a pressure sprayer to pre soak each panel while you wash the one next to it (if that makes sense). It’s a very effective product on bugs when used like this 😀
Sorry I'm late to your vids, I'm learning a lot of detailing basics, just had to tell you that those serves had me in stitches! Another great review cheers
ONR of one of my all time favorite products to use in detailing. I ran out recently and I just bought version 5. It's a very good product. I always have a bottle of ONR on hand. I use it in my house also quite a bit. It's fantastic on glass. I use it to wipe down all my appliances everyday (in a spray bottle) and in my bathrooms on the mirrors in the bathroom for streak free cleaning. I use it on my floors too and it works great on tile of laminate floors, again with non streaking or residue.
Congrats on dropping the cigs! Myself dropped the crap three years ago,its great ! On the weight loss, its hard after dropping the sigs not to gain it,try to snack on nuts, and in general cut the sugars and carbs all around .
Try taking a high quality vitamin and mineral supplement. High quality vitamins will use Methylcobalamin (Vitamin B-12), where cheaper vitamins will contain Cyanocobalamin, which is also Vitamin B-12, but is less bioavailable and less expensive to manufacture...
Glad you done this one Jon. I’ve been using ONR for over 10 years on and off. In the last 2-3 years I’ve used it a lot more. I use it to wash my cars especially in the summer when they’re not that dirty, use it as a glass cleaner and interior cleaner. I mix up 8 litres and then top up a double action spray bottle plus an IK before the wash. The IK is for pre soak and the double action for glass and interior. Even the wife uses it around the house! Watching the videos Ivan and Levi have done convinced me to try it’s other uses. Combine with Optiseal or Optimum Car Wax and the results are even better! Keep up the exercise etc and you can get to any weight you want!
That's great man, quiting is hard for sure. Don't give up on yourself either push hard and you could hit 16 stone. Stay positive and as always great video.
I’m proud of you mate, for giving up smoking!!!! Good work........ I’ve tried heaps of times and I’m still smoking which sucks..... but I’ll get there one day, smoke free..... OH BY THE WAY, I absolutely love your you tube channel. You have helped me out so much....... keep up the good work..... Cheers. Nick from Australia.
Relatively new subscriber from the U.S. and enjoying your videos. I’m just starting to detail my own cars and will need to buy ONR, didn’t realize it’s many uses. Great job on quitting smoking!
Good video, good discussion. I like ONR and I mainly use it in the interior because it's a very safe chemical if you check out its safety data sheets (I'm on a bit of a dirty chemical purge). In Canada/US, if you go to the Home Depot and get the smaller contractor bucket, it's a 2 gallon or 8 litre bucket, fill it half way with water, fill one cap full of ONR (using the bottle like you have), and its the proper ratio, makes it easy rather than needing measuring cups! Bucket works best, but I do have some in a fine mist spray bottle for glass cleaning. Do not over-strengthen the ratio is my biggest suggestion, I never mix it stronger than the mildest 256:1 or I do get some polymer spotting
Love the 'on the fly style in this video dude. Very helpful aswell. On a side note. Big congrates on the no smoking and weight loss. I gave up for 3 weeks and put on a stone. Going to loos some weight before I give up again. Keep it up and I look forward to the new car video next year 😉
thanks barry yer I balloon'd as well mate and put on weight initially but like I genuinlly feel better and fitter now, I can play tennis for 3 hours for example and swim well now. I do miss it a tiny bit.. but the money saving and the sort of smoking too much when you dont really enjoy most of them and sort of being blocked up.. that I dont miss so much. everytime I think I want to smart I just think of the cash that Im saving.
I'm a big fan of ONR. I do a very low annual mileage - 3000 per annum max - but the car lives outside and gets dusty rather than really filthy. A quick ONR wash brings it up very well for little time or effort. I pre spray I must admit - just a spray bottle filled up from the main solution. The slight draggy feel at the start was freaking me out. I've had very good results with a G Technic wash mitt (the pink fluffy one).
Never give up with your fitness dude. you have done so well so far. 2014 was the last time i had a smoke and i feel so much better in myself, and more money to spend on car products XD.
I pretty much abandoned traditional car washing a couple of years ago after I first tried ONR. I do pre-treat the car with a pressure sprayer filled with ONR solution, but not always. It is truly amazing stuff IMO.
Congrats on quitting smoking! your energy in the recent videos is fantastic. About the losing weight thing, I lost 59KG with weight lifting and a good diet in about 1 year. But training and dieting aside the biggest thing is the motivation to help push through. I'd love to share technical info about the data i gathered through the years. if you'd like hit me up.
thanks Dan. Like Im sort of just doing it very slowly.. If I go like too obsessed on weight loss quickly I can never maintain it.. so Im just trying to eat less and enjoy exercising more.. and staying of the fags.. so slowly the weights coming off. generally like Im less cranky now.. the cigerettes can be like pacifiers and calm you short time, but Im prolly less cranky without them :)
@@ForensicDetailing Smoking always was a sexy thing to me haha, but i knew if i tried it couple of times i could never quit. seeing you get so better without it gives me more reason not to start doing it. and about the weight loss what you're doing is probably for the best. I forgot to mention the fast weight drop i had left me with a loose skin which is i hear more prone to happen the older you get.
Good honest review of ONR . Exactly what i expect from the Forensic Derailing Channel. LMAO at the tennis clip 😂 did your opponent ever get to return a serve 😂 Great video as always 👍
Love onr (as you know) anyone who hasn't tried it, needs to. Great for round the house also, glass,tv, etc anything really can be wiped down with onr. Always worth having a bottle on the shelf, going to get myself a gallon of it, when my bottle runs out.
Another great video John. I'm in my 50s had loads of nice cars over the years and wish all this info was available then in the 80s and 90s instead of the t-cut and plain polish and waxes. Look forward to the next lesson sir.
I personally know a few people who use this. I really need to pick up a bottle. Well done on the not smoking. it has been about eight years for me. Some days it's still difficult. I'm 5 foot 11 inches around 18 Stone myself. Its a challenge mate. Great video. Look forward to the next one as always 👍
Great on the health push but just love your approach to that word "Fair". Many people nowadays always want to blame and seek full recovery for EVERYTHING. Fair goes along way to resolve problems and even further after that. No stress or anger is great for your health and 16 will be your number before you know it. Keep up the good work👍
Jon, I was a fan of ONR for a couple of years. But I heard about a similar product made by Wolf Gang called Uber Rinseless Wash. After trying it I never went back to ONR. The Uber seems to have more lubrication in the application and leaves a slicker/glossier surface. Not only do I use it as a rinseless wash, but I also use it as a dying aid after a bucket wash. If it’s available in the UK, I’d recommend trying it out. On a side note, I enjoy when you tell us more about yourself like your fitness and quitting smoking. I’m curious about what you do for a living and talking about yourself more like you did here. I always enjoy your videos. I don’t think I ever miss one and I really appreciate what you do! You are extremely entertaining and informative, always.
Certain car shampoos do not contain any chelating agents (to address hard water issues, by dealing with the minerals) However, certain shampoos such as the one from Autoglym in the 90s contain a few chelating agents. Since it can act against minerals in the shampoo mix, it can alsk act against the minerals within those “water spots” making them easier to remove (to a certain extent). Hence, any car shampoos that contain chelating agents (to prevent degradation of foaming power) is much more effective in loosening those mineral-caused “water spots”
You tried to use a surfactant-based detergent to remove hard watermark stains on the red car, which you called “water spots”. Of course you couldnt get them off. If those were really water spots due to dried-up grime, they would wash right off when wiped or washed with any detergents. Those are actually minerals that are starting to etch onto the red paintwork, making it increasingly difficult to remove them. Adding some vinegar to your ONR mix would have done the trick, as I have been doing for the past 5yrs.
I use onr in the winter when I can't get the hose out. I put onr on a spray bottle and apply to a panel and let it dwell I then use Gary Dean method to wash to not contaminate the bucket then dry and finish with p&s beadmaker and the result are excellent. The car is ceramic coating
It is great stuff. I use a very similar product from Chemical Guys called "Rinse Free" that is less expensive and works very well. When I do my weekly maintenance wash on my black car I first sheet water over the surface to remove most of the loose dirt and dust and then use a pump sprayer to lay down a 16:1 ratio of Rinse Free and distilled water. After about 5 min of soaking I blast the cleaning solution off with a garden hose and then do a final rinse from another pump sprayer with distilled water. Finally, I blow dry the car. The whole process takes less than an hour and I get great cleaning with no scratches. I do have the Opti-Coat Pro+ coating that makes cleaning and drying much easier. If the car were very dirty I could insert a contact wash, modified Garry Dean method, with my noodle microfiber washing pads and a 128:1 ratio of the Rinse Free in a 5 gal bucket.
Well done on the health front. I'm of similar build and also trying to get healthier - we will never be a skinny minnies, but think if you can stay fit at lease you feel much better both physically and psychological.
Currently I have ultima waterless wash for similar purposes. Clay lube but mainly a diluted bottle in the trunk with some microfibres for birdshit. Works wonderfully well, no etching at all.
There are a lot of quick detailers that can be used for multipurpose like ONR but the dilutions ratios set it apart, same as CarPro Echo. Considering you can spends thousands on detailing these days its refreshing to see. I know there are loads of quick detailer mix recommendations out there, but in the summer using Echo+Reload+Koch Chemie Fse works really well as a compromise of no water spots, amount of streaking, protection and cost. FSe makes up 80% of the mixture and is cheap.
Hey, watching your videos for quite a while now. Great job! Thanks for all of the time put in! On the topic of ONR you seem to skip it's priming abilities. You are probably aware that a lot of the detailers use it in a Lake Country Padwashers (eg the 3000D) to clean and PRIME the pads. Keeps the pads nice and clean, and you don't have to use tons of the compound to prime it again after cleaning. Makes the job really nice and clean to the point where you could use one pad for the whole car. Side benefit is an almost dust free workflow. Try it if you have a chance. I'm sure you'll like it.
I use 2.5 liters of distilled water and 15ml ONR, this means I can use it on a hot day and it doesn't matter two much if some drys on the panel Another good tip is to use those Calpol stoppers and syringe to measure your ONR out
Forensic Detailing Channel Yeah, first let the APC do its work and then wash with ONR. PS. Their Power Clean is probably the safest for the user and is easy to get off the panel.
It's true, once you get into waterless or rinseless wash, it becomes a habit. You can go around the car in about 5 -10 minutes. Save a lot of time and water. Now, I prefer Wolfgang waterless. It's great product and gives a great shine. Like new.
I use the wash and wax version with great results car doesn’t get that dirty and I don’t use it in winter never had any issues. I use the valet pro sponge and I’ve cut some squares into it
Great vid again Jon, never used ONR personally but I think I might get some bought. Great to here you’re still off the dreaded tax sticks. The mrs has cracked over a year now and is even starting to Vape less nowadays. Get ya self an F series M3, I’d go for that over the M4 and M2 any day personally. Had my F31 335d Touring for 6 weeks now and I’ve got to say it’s brilliant. I know it’s a diesel but my god they’re amazing. Just remapped to stage 1 now it’s got over 5000 miles on it and it’s making 400hp and 560lbft. Unreal the 3 series chassis, the M3 will be epic 👌
Another great video, Jon. I love ONR, I have a mixed bucket of it in the garage too! I use it for dirt jambs mainly. My favourite use is mixed as a detail spray at 16:1. I use that for bird bomb emergencies and a pre-spray for bug guts before the main wash.
I like the way of just cleaning it a little bit every week and keep it always clean without the need of 4-5-6 hours cleaning so avoiding until time for cleaning arrives to drive a dirty car, dirty steering wheel etc… I am doing it this way too but i am using CarPro Ech2O which is a great product too in same category.. ✌🏼✌🏼
Hi Jon, couple of things, 1st every video you do is full of really useful info so thanks for that, 2nd the way to lose weight is in the kitchen & 3rd I have great fun in my X3M40i, 2 ton of car to 60 in under 5sec. I'll meet you at the lights🤣
I’ve got the green version with carnuba wax in it or so they claim and the results from work hat are amazing you should try it when you have got through that bottle and let us all no what you think, top video as always by the way 👌
It's odd that u dont see much mention of that version. I have it and use it on rare occasions. I do use the regular one often, though. I like it. Gone through several bottles.
I use ONLY 1 bucket.. with no grit guard but I use 4 -6 towels with OPTIMUM (Green) Wash and Wax .. using the 4 fold towel method to get 8 squares. I use the bucket ONLY to soak towels or to scoop out some solution as needed so I never put a used dirt filled towel back into the solution. IF NEEDED, I hand ring out the towel and then take out some solution to relubricate it… washing a car section then drying that section with the other drying towels.. repeat around car.. no bucket contamination, only 1 bucket and a few towels
ONR sounds like a product I need to get on. Sorting other people’s cars 6-7 days a week makes doing my own vehicles a chore. Glad to hear you’ve almost sorted paint issue 👍🏼
Just my advice regarding maybe chopping in the M140, I’ve got a facelift M135 and am lucky to have access to other cars higher up the food chain. While others are faster, handle better and sound better the M140 does enough of each well enough to be pretty much the perfect road car in my opinion. Not to mention how little it costs to run in comparison!
Love your videos. Good for you that you quit smoking. I have tried to motivate my girlfriend to give it up aswell. Regarding the ONR I would like to give it a try.
Well done on quitting! If you found it very very hard or have (like me) a long history of re-starting again after a few weeks, then you may be a real nicotine addict. I'm now 29 years into quitting. Realised, after many failed attempts, that I can never trust myself with even one cigar. Eventually it gets quite easy - I now hate the smell, wished I never started but know that it would take less than one pack to kick start that now dormant potential re-addiction. Separately must buy my first bottle of ONR - might experiment keeping a 1 ltr bottle mixed down with distilled water as quasi DIY detail spray.
Thanks for your useful and informative videos. And well done on quitting smoking. My other half is a qualified nutritionist so if you need some advice on shifting a kg or two give me a shout.
Good video. I will often keep towels soaking in a 5 gallon bucket and use them when needed. I have a top on the bucket. This works great with ONR - even in the summer heat. Also, have another bucket of ONR I pump through a paint sprayer. However, I tried this with Griot’s (the blue liquid product), and in just a few days the smell is terrible - like a decaying animal . I quickly went back to ONR. Griot’s response was to maybe use their other rinse less product (no thanks, went back to ONR).
I live in a particularly hard water area. It seems to make my mint glide much easier and dries ever so slightly glossier after towel drying. I've done it back to back with and without and it's much nicer with the ONR in the bucket. I also keep a spray bottle of it mixed up and a towel to mop up bird shit. Absolutely soak it and it mops right up ready for the next weekly wash.
First of all, Congratulations on giving up the cancer sticks, Second, I will invest in this product, the value for money is worth a punt, Thirdly another great video and I liked how you gave us a little insight into your private life, looking forward to seeing the new car, whatever it may be 😎👍🏻
At least mate, after repaint, you'll have more depth in clear coat to polish since you love it. Plz i'd be really interested to see a test between finishing polishes, in particular Menzerna 3800 vs Carpro Essence! Btw this was best video ever, nice to know you're trying to stop smoking since i'm too. Stay healthy! I've never heard you complaining about sounds from you door rubber seals, everyone is complaining about them! Is your Bimmer noiseless?
you cant really compare those products filippo one is a silica ceramic primer polish the other is a pure abrasive finishing polish. I talk about tac systems total one essential soon on the channel. These primer polishes are "ok" jury is still out for me. they have bags of potential though.. but Im just not sure about them still.
@@ForensicDetailing I understand your point, expecially since one contains some ceramic fillers, but if you strip the paint right after polishing fillers should go away. What i'm interested in is to find the final step product after previous stages. Actually gloss % is what matters to me. You know Jon those are very often compared and many ppl are interested in the best gloss finishing polish!
@@filipporosati165 no one has ever provided any meaningfull information on Gloss % or gloss performance on you tube my friend, Including me (although I didnt know it at the time). I could wirte a long long long essay on what Ive learnt about it. Maybe a lot of what I type would be wrong, but Ive learnt it on my own, from testing, observing and recording. Rather than being told things by brands that sell products made by brands that sell products made by brands that make products... There are things Im learning all the time as I delve into new areas.. The aquisition of the rhopoint gloss meter will allow me to examine high gloss performance of finishing polishes to a very high level, in fact beyond the rhopoint IQ there isnt much else out there at the moment thats better, and in fact its better than what some of the companies making the products have the test with from what Ive seen. In the meantime. I will make a statement that is the best bit of advice. Dont look for a finishing polish that delivers higher gloss than any other. The difference in these products are too small to measure really. pick abrasives from a company that manufactures abrasive products, and supplies products to the car manufacturing and refinishing industries and has done for many years. And you do not need more than 3 products. HC MC Finishing polish. I would recomend Koch H8 F5 and M2. Job done (they will be available in the USA soon if you are there). Dont overpay for them though. You have 3m/Meguiars if you want, they dont seem to push as much in terms of developement though.. You have MEnzerna, scholl. Koch are my favorites but I can use any of them and no person in the world could tell the difference in results of which one I had used. Not even my glossmeter (outside of lab testing comparisons)
It`s great for the door jabs, engine and such, I even use it as a prewash. But what I wonder is if using with apc in the backet work together or it fights the apc?
I just did my spring clay & wax, and I used ONR to wash and then mixed up a bottle of clay lube with it. Been using it for a few years now at and it's awesome stuff, I love it. 👍 In fact, I need to order another bottle. 😁
Great review. Question. Would you use it in tandem with another product that may have better degreaser properties like Adams waterless wash. So I was thinking spray the Adams on the panel and then use the no rinse product with bucket. Should be a good combo.
Well done on quitting smoking! With the BMW respray, personally I'd think about it before pulling the trigger. I won't go into the details, the BMW body shop which sprayed my car didn't do a great job - fish eyes, dust specs (rocks in some places), sprayed over stone chips, etc. Worst is the paint is much much softer than factory... you may start with a better finish than the one you get back.
Giles B Agreed. Not to mention all the free extras they throw in .... scratches, scuffs, sanding marks and a courtesy valet from there professional detailing department.
Another quality video. Definitely want to try ONR now. I’m concerned about how BMW are going about the respray. If they are doing it under “warranty” normally they claim back the costs from BMW Germany. Therefore if they can manage to claim back the costs from bmw Germany and you pay half they are getting an extra 50%. Which I would say is very unfair. Hope it sorted the way you want and you’re happy with. Anyway thanks for putting out another interesting video. ♥️
Totally agree I use carpro ech2o I use it for wiping door jams, drying aid and clay lube, I have it for almost 2 years and bottle is 3/4 full amazing value for money.
I like ONR, Wolfgang, and Gerry Dean's. I like all three but am finding myself using Wolfgang and Gerry Dean's a little more than ONR. And CONGRATULATIONS WITH IMPROVING YOUR HEALTH ALONG WITH QUITING SMOKING!!!! FUCKIN' AWESOME!!

Keep up the good work👍
Nice video yet again Jon, I love ONR and as I park in a communal area away from services it's pretty close to a 'miracle product' to me.
I accidentally put one of my wall cabinets on upside down as well. :)
😂😂
😂😂
I just laughed out loud 👍🏻
Hahahhahahahhahahahaaa
I’m a year late to this - but that comment has made my day! 🤣
Certain car shampoos do not contain any chelating agents (to address hard water issues, by dealing with the minerals)
However, certain shampoos such as the one from Autoglym in the 90s contain a few chelating agents.
Completely agree love ONR and the whole OPT range!!!
No water marks , it’s a fantastic product. Use it for windows interior etc . I’m the guy who bought yes the BIG RED SPONGE £... lots in the UK 🤭👍🇬🇧
Alan N It was one of the best investments I also made!
Based on your recommendation ive ordered a bottle to try. Thanks again for a great review
Quit smoking Nov 27 1998. Keep it up Jon. Good work dude!!!!
I hadn't heard of this stuff before, think I'll get some and try it out 👍
I use 2.5 liters of distilled water and 15ml ONR, this means I can use it on a hot day and it doesn't matter two much if some drys on the panel
Another good tip is to use those Calpol stoppers and syringe to measure your ONR out
i think thats were I was roughly. or I was 25 ml for 5 litres. but I just put a tad more in for luck. maybe closer to 30.
@@ForensicDetailing
Have you ever tried adding APC to ONR to give it more bite? Would this even work?
@@aquatics117 you can do it, but I wouldnt mate. its one of the other really.
I use the valet pro sponge and I’ve cut some squares into it
Well done Jon I'm off the cigs 11 years now, the price they are now is unreal, so it's 20 a day or an m2? Let me c lol
I don't smoke and have an M2...
@@peterwood2633 I see a trend here ;)
Great vid again Jon, never used ONR personally but I think I might get some bought.
Keep going with the smoke free life it will get easier and easier. Awesome tennis footage he lobbed you good ; )
I have used for opt for years , many uses , even as a glass cleaner
Just bought some, look forward to trying it out!
ONR 3 times a month, Carpro reset 1 time. Jescar Refresh for a drying aid. Fresh coat of Collinite 845 when I do the carpro
Sounds like a great combination
Just put some Gyeon Pure on there and forget about doing any of that for the next two years
Well no, but it is good
BMW resprayed the bumper on my 440i. Took it right back and full respray. It cost £549 which did seem expensive but they did a great job 👍
Another great video, Jon. I love ONR, I have a mixed bucket of it in the garage too! I use it for dirt jambs mainly. My favourite use is mixed as a detail spray at 16:1. I use that for bird bomb emergencies and a pre-spray for bug guts before the main wash.
I like the way of just cleaning it a little bit every week and keep it always clean without the need of 4-5-6 hours cleaning so avoiding until time for cleaning arrives to drive a dirty car, dirty steering wheel etc…
I am doing it this way too but i am using CarPro Ech2O which is a great product too in same category.. ✌🏼✌🏼
Hi Jon, couple of things, 1st every video you do is full of really useful info so thanks for that, 2nd the way to lose weight is in the kitchen & 3rd I have great fun in my X3M40i, 2 ton of car to 60 in under 5sec. I'll meet you at the lights🤣
awesome car my friend saw one the other day that look so nice as well
I’ve got the green version with carnuba wax in it or so they claim and the results from work hat are amazing you should try it when you have got through that bottle and let us all no what you think, top video as always by the way 👌
IVe used the green stuff. but I just want a product that isnt leaving anything behind or shining things up so to speak.
It's odd that u dont see much mention of that version. I have it and use it on rare occasions. I do use the regular one often, though. I like it. Gone through several bottles.
Cleans the kitchen worktops great
I use ONLY 1 bucket.. with no grit guard but I use 4 -6 towels with OPTIMUM (Green) Wash and Wax .. using the 4 fold towel method to get 8 squares.
I use it as a drying aid. Works great.
I've been using it a couple of years add it to the wash cap full nice and slick feeling good stuff
Up the Wolves!
Daniel .S As far as I know they could both be optioned out to the same level.
Love your videos. Good for you that you quit smoking. I have tried to motivate my girlfriend to give it up aswell.
Regarding the ONR I would like to give it a try.
Well done on the no smoking John keep it up 👍.. I really want to know your day job?? What do you do for a living??...
Might have just been old to begin with, I just had to chuck some onr recently that I've had for a while because the smell was awful.
You got me onto this stuff. I love dropping a few caps in my wash bucket with BH auto wash and it really makes a difference to the feel and finish.
Hey matt can I ask what benefits this product gives. That sounds like a good combo as I use auto wash myself
First of all, Congratulations on giving up the cancer sticks, Second, I will invest in this product, the value for money is worth a punt, Thirdly another great video and I liked how you gave us a little insight into your private life, looking forward to seeing the new car, whatever it may be 😎👍🏻
265:1 for washing, 64:1 for clay lube!... it’s an amazing product and certainly one I wouldn’t be without...
“Do a bit more swinging” 😂
All cardio counts Jon haha!
Underrated.
Not even my glossmeter (outside of lab testing comparisons)
thanks for this detailed answer Jon. On my other account i've become a patron today. You're the best
It`s great for the door jabs, engine and such, I even use it as a prewash. But what I wonder is if using with apc in the backet work together or it fights the apc?
Can`t get an answer to that..
Great video. I’ll get some of this and try it on my F20 👍👍👍
I still need to try this ONR. Good job on dropping Cigs.
Nice one Jon, well done on the cutting out smoking and weight loss. Sounds like it'll go well with the carpro interior scrubbing mitt?
Totally agree I use carpro ech2o I use it for wiping door jams, drying aid and clay lube, I have it for almost 2 years and bottle is 3/4 full amazing value for money.
Very nice clean, detailed engine! Question for you: Can you submit a link to that "Gloss Meter" you use? Thank you!
its very expensive Ed.. about 3000 pounds.. if you google rhopoint instruments and look for the goniophotomoeter IQ range its the dual band one.
@@ForensicDetailing Thank you! I might have to invest in one in the near future...the one you have looks to be Excellent!

Totally agree with how you use ONR. You might want to look at the Lake Country Wash Wedge as an alternative to the Big Red Sponge.
U like it? I have it (got it as part of a package) but haven't used it. I guess I can try it.
