It’s a good thing to show us all the ways we can use a stencil, especially since it looks a bit tricky. BTW, it’s ee-cot.

Thank you and yes... we have it stuck in our heads that way and hard to shake it. We will keep at it, Hugs.

@@PMartistStudio I apologize! I often mispronounce it. It’s a hard habit to break.

I love these new stencil and I’m so glad that you did video using them with the weave stencil(that’s not the right name of the older stencil).

✨💖✨ Hi y'all. Did I overhear you (while I was trying to organize some stuff with your stream on in the background) describe a certain effect using the wash-out on the gel plate as crazing? If I'm not mistaken, and I AM NOT A PHYSICIST, it is something that happens to LIQUIDS when there is a loss of surface tension. In your case, I believe, it's caused by the excess of water so the pigment or dyes in the paint are no longer able to bond together, like a flat sheet, instead it's turning into little rivulets of wash-out with wide areas without. Simply put: Broken surface Tension. Whereas CRAZING is a term used to describe SOLIDS and refers to the development of fine cracks or fissures (often found in ceramics or paintings), much less that cracking that has gone through & through, but the structure still holds together. But that's me being fussy and language does evolve... And, like in all communications with online "experts", ya gotta verify the information... however the discussion of surface tension and crazing in relation to making art are interesting topics to ponder. -- Okay, you may go back to the non-annoying comments now. 🤪

I do think it is a slight evolution of the word as you are spot on with it... I think for gel printing the crayzing "cracking" is more of the surrounding paint and how it looks vs the empty area being more bubbled.
