Why so few visits, comments etc.? This is totally cool! Absolutely love it. I've done something similar with large sheets of coffee-dyed paper and plastic lace table runners. The detail that comes out is astonishing. Really fun techniques with stunning results! New subscriber.
So awesome to hear what you have tried! Thank you for Subscribing- tell your friends- I’m just starting here on TH-cam! Check out more Quick Draws over at instagram 😉
Brand new viewer-😲 oh wow, how beautiful that last one came out!! I love this technique and am going to try it out for sure. Thanks so much for sharing & I will be back. ♥️🙏🏼🖌️🎨
Just stumbled across your video and ❤ what you've done! If you have a manual die cutting machine, try running your sandwich of paper-stencil-paper thru it with an embossing mat. The stencil will get pressed into the paper plus the even pressure will help the colors move on both sides. Run it thru before it's dry then let dry before you pull it apart. Play play play!
What a great idea! I just got a huge package of stencils, and I was just going to use them for scrubbing away the paint after it dried, but I really like the effect you got here! I can see every flat surface in my house today will be covered with these waiting to dry. lol
When I do this technique I place a paper towel over the stencil and weight it with a plastic covered book. When dry I can spritz the paint side of the stencil and print that. I prevent the water from bleeding into the pages below by slipping blotter paper (paper making couch) under the pages I’m working on.
