So i live in cali. I just installed this. Hopefully I don’t get pulled over for using this harness. And I installed the eye bolt on the seat bolts with washers and then I installed it on the old 3Pt seatbelt bolt while keeping the old seatbelt. Can someone correct me if wrong about doing this? +Rasta Rainbow You will not. The bottom of the OEM 3 point seat belt bolt holes are the ones you use to mount the lap belts. Those eyelet bolts are used for that area too. However, at Takata we recommend harnesses only for aftermarket seats. The the shoulder belts must pass through slots or headrests at the correct height. It’s worth noting that not all street legal vehicles are built to properly put in an aftermarket harness. Harness belt systems must not be installed in vehicles equipped with seats which do not have adjustable head restraints, or seats with backrests that have integrated head restraints where there are no openings for the shoulder belts. The seatbelts will not function properly in these types of seats as shoulder belts will tend to slip off the shoulders.
Thank you so much for the help, I just ordered the drift 3 4point harness, (bolt on) and I will be ordering takata racing seats soon enough so that its a better fit for the harness!

I think the drift series are the only Takata harnesses that are road legal . . .
i just order some nrg frp seats, im interested in the drift 3 black, everything i need is it the kit to install it to a harnesses bar right?
I have a harness bar with stock seats, so i was wondering do I need the extra 25$ mounting hardware kit to mount the lap belt to my stock seat?

Do the snap-in come with the mounting hard wear bolts??
Yep. They come with an eyelet bolt to replace the oem bolt.
